Description

The invention relates to a manhole frame according to the preamble of claim 1 and a manhole cover according to claim 9.

Manholes fulfill important water engineering tasks from water extraction to the wastewater pumping station. Thus, these structures are a crucial component of a reliable water supply and sanitation. It is usually based on a long-term useful life. At regular intervals, inspections for inspection or maintenance work are necessary. To protect the operating personnel, there are clear rules and regulations. But old shafts often lack the most important foundations. Not only dangers of accidents lurk, also the actual function or even the substance of the building is often endangered. Mostly the entry is vertical from above. Here, the legislators prescribe a so-called boarding assistance. At this the worker can hold on to take the first step into the shaft. At wastewater treatment plants suitable holding devices must be present above the entry points to crampons aisles or shaft risers.

In conventional road shafts, no suitable holding devices are available. Therefore, mostly so-called insertion sleeves are retrofitted in the shaft interior, in which the manhole then a kind of boarding aid in the form of a rod with handle can plug. These sleeves must be attached to the shaft inner wall. Even if the sleeves are relatively cheap, their installation often causes much higher costs, since it is usually difficult to anchor the sleeves securely in the often rutted shaft walls. The cost of assembly can therefore easily account for three to four times the cost of the insert sleeve. Alternatively, there are therefore portable boarding aids that can be used without a solid support when walking a shaft. These correspond in their outer dimensions of the manhole cover, as they are inserted into the shaft and clamped on its inner walls. Such boarding aids are extremely expensive and bulky. They occupy so much space that the manhole often becomes too small. It also takes a relatively long time for the boarding aid itself to be assembled and dismantled for each job.

The invention therefore deals with the problem of remedy this situation.

The problem of the invention is achieved by a manhole frame with the features of claim 1 and by a road control shaft with the features of claim 9.

Since the manhole covers of the road control shafts are subject to significant wear and therefore must be replaced at certain intervals anyway, the invention provides to provide a fixed receptacle for attaching a boarding aid directly on or in the manhole frame. Preferably, the receptacle is permanently connected to the frame body, in particular already integrated in its geometry. It is particularly advantageous if the receptacle is configured such that the hitherto conventional access aids in the form of rods provided with handles can be used further.

The inventive design with a receptacle for a boarding aid is not limited to a special material, nor to a particular shape of the manhole frame. It can be used both in purely cast iron manhole frame as well as in concrete / cast iron. Also, the manhole frame be designed both round and square.

The manhole frame shown in Fig. 1 consists of a frame body 1, which is flush with a collar 2 flush with the road or pavement surface and immersed with walls 3 in the manhole. Below the walls 3 is the shaft wall, not shown, or possibly compensating rings. In this shaft wall or the compensating rings, the sleeves for attaching the boarding aid were mounted in conventionally equipped street control shafts. According to the invention, however, the manhole frame itself has a receptacle 4 for attaching a boarding aid.

A common boarding aid is shown in Fig. 2. It consists of a rod 5 with four handles 6. At the lower end of the rod 5, the boarding aid on two protruding pin 7, by means of which the boarding aid can be secured or locked against unintentional withdrawal. In Fig. 3, this is our end of another boarding aid shown, above the pin 7, a stop plate 8 is fixedly connected to the rod 5, so that the rod 5 can not slide further than intended in the corresponding recording.

The more detailed embodiment of the receptacle 4 is shown in FIGS. 4 to 6. It consists of a substantially cylindrical recess 10, which extends in a thickened region of the wall 3 of the frame body 1 vertically downwards. In the inner wall of the recess 10 guide channels 11 are recessed, which receive the pin 7 of the boarding aid. The guide channels 11 have a substantially vertical course with an intermediate section 11 ', which extends substantially horizontally. The boarding aid can be used with their pins 7 in the guide channels 11 shown in Fig. 4 by solid lines become. In this position, the boarding aid can be lowered about 40 mm deep. Then the boarding aid is rotated clockwise by 60 degrees, so that their pins 7 follow the horizontal intermediate sections 11 'of the guide channels 11. Subsequently, the boarding aid sank with its pin 7 following the guide channels 11 again by about 40 mm. The pins 7 are located in the position shown in dashed lines in Fig. 4. The boarding aid is thus securely determined and can be used by the inspection staff.

As shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, the receptacle 4 at the lower end of the recess 10 has an opening 12 which extends through the wall 3 of the frame body 1 therethrough. Through this opening 12 may possibly run into the receptacle 4 penetrating dirt and water, so that the recording remains functional and is protected from rotting and clogging.

Sollten im Schacht selbst keine Stufen oder Tritte vorhanden sein, können diese durch eine Steigleiter nun leicht am Schachtrahmen dauerhaft aber auswechselbar festgelegt werden.8 shows an alternative embodiment of the manhole frame, in which, in addition to the opening 12, two further openings 13 are made in the frame base body 2. These are preferably pre-drilled holes, which can be drilled on demand to the required size and provided with an internal thread on which then a riser can be attached. This considerably increases the flexible applicability of the manhole frame for various local conditions. If there are no steps or steps in the shaft itself, they can now be easily and permanently fixed to the manhole frame by means of a ladder.

Fig. 9 zeigt einen entsprechenden Schachtrahmen in perspektivischer Darstellung. Fig. 9 shows a corresponding manhole frame in a perspective view. This is a concrete / cast frame, like shown partially made of concrete 15. In this manhole frame, the receptacle 4 is not arranged as in the previous embodiment at a separate location within the frame body, but integrated into one of the four support recesses 16, which serve to receive a mudflap. The strainer, not shown, substantially corresponds to a large, round "sieve", which can be inserted with four laterally opposite welded holders in the support recesses 16. In order to make the support recess 16 simultaneously usable according to the invention as a receptacle for a boarding aid 16 guide channels 11 are excluded from the side walls 17 of the support recesses, which may correspond in their design and geometry to those of the previous embodiment of the invention.

In summary, the manhole frame according to the invention or a corresponding manhole cover with lid and possibly strainer makes it possible to furnish all the inspection shafts not yet properly equipped with fastening devices for boarding aids according to the regulations, whenever the manhole frame has to be exchanged anyway. The manhole frame according to the invention thus provide a secure mounting option for boarding aids, without being significantly different in price from conventional manhole frame. It is also possible to continue to use the entry-level temporary mallets that are usually available in cities and towns.
