Definitions

  • the invention relates to a medical transfer device of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1.
  • Numerous medicaments cannot be stored in liquid form, but must be dissolved in sterile water or another solvent immediately before use. It has long been known for a long time to provide a drug as a dry substance on the one hand and a solvent on the other hand in separate injection bottles. These are closed with a closure that can be pierced with an injection needle. In use, the bottle containing the water was first closed by means of a syringe attached to it
  • a medical transfer device is known from US Pat. No. 6,558,365 B2, which essentially consists of two caps, from the bottom of which a puncture is made in each case. spine extends into the interior of the caps. Extending from the outer surface of the bottom of one cap is a peg with a conical outer surface which projects into a conical recess of a peg extending from the bottom of the other cap. A connection channel runs through the spikes and the pins.
  • the cylindrical parts of the caps are split and thus radially expandable in such a way that the caps can be snapped onto the bulge of a neck of a bottle.
  • the length of the piercing mandrels is such that the bottle is pierced during this snap-on operation.
  • one of the caps is snapped onto the neck of a bottle containing water or another solvent, so that the associated piercing pin pierces the closure of the bottle and comes into contact with the inside of the bottle.
  • the other cap is snapped onto the neck of a bottle containing a drug as a dry substance.
  • the two caps are connected with their tenons.
  • US Pat. No. 6,070,623 discloses a medical transfer device of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1, in which a first tubular part can be displaced in a piston-like manner in a second tubular part between an inserted and an extended position.
  • a holding part is connected to the first tubular part and has a conical receptacle for connecting means for releasably and tightly connecting the conical receptacle to a container having the liquid or the solvent.
  • This is formed by a syringe which, in a known manner, has a cylindrical wall and a piston which is displaceable therein and which can be advanced by means of a piston rod.
  • a cannula extends from the second tubular part on the side facing away from the conical receptacle, through which a channel extends from the interior of the conical receptacle to its tip.
  • the second tubular part is then placed on the neck of a bottle provided with a pierceable closure containing a dry, powdered medicament, and the cannula is passed through the pierceable closure by means of the tubular body of the syringe the bottle containing the drug. Then, by actuating the syringe, the liquid therein is injected into the container containing the medicament and the medicament is thus dissolved in the liquid. While in these operations the
  • the end of the cannula is connected to a conical receptacle on the side of the holding part facing away from the cannula.
  • the two tubular parts are locked against mutual movements by a locking device, so that the tip of the cannula is located within the tubular parts, so that there is no risk of injury.
  • An essential basic idea of the teaching of the invention is to ensure that, after the cannula has been inserted into the closure, the liquid emerges from the lateral opening at the tip of the cannula directed laterally against the inner side wall of the bottle if the cannula after piercing the closure protrudes into the bottle.
  • the liquid runs down the inner wall of the bottle and reaches the medicament over the entire inner circumference of the bottle, so that the liquid is effectively mixed with the medicament.
  • the disadvantage would arise that the liquid cannot subsequently be completely removed from the bottle.
  • the The invention further provides that the cannula can be withdrawn exactly up to a stop after the liquid has been injected, so that the lateral opening of the cannula is in the piercing direction immediately before the closure.
  • a pin is arranged on the inner wall of the second tubular part, while two grooves are arranged in the outer wall of the first tubular part in the sliding direction, which are connected to one another via a switch and in which the pin is guided, whereby the pin slides out of the inserted position into one of the two grooves as far as the extended position and, with subsequent movement in the direction of the extended position, slides through the switch into the other groove until it engages in a recess and thus in this Stop position is locked. In this stop position it is ensured that the lateral opening at the tip of the cannula is located just above the closure, so that all of the liquid can be withdrawn from the container. In this embodiment there are a total of three positions. In the first position, the two tubular parts are locked together by a locking device. After unlocking this locking device, the cannula can be advanced sufficiently deep into the inside of the bottle containing the medicament, while in the third position the side opening is at the tip of the
  • Cannula is located close to the closure.
  • An expedient embodiment is characterized in claim 2, in which the different positions are achieved by rotating the two tubular parts. the.

  • a piercing spike detachably and tightly engages with its end facing away from its tip in the conical receptacle and thus connects it to a container containing the liquid when the piercing spike is inserted into the pierceable closure of the container containing the liquid.
  • the end of the piercing mandrel facing away from its tip is expediently designed to be complementary conical to the conical receptacle in the holding part, so that a secure connection is possible.
  • the end of the piercing mandrel facing away from its tip is cylindrical or conical with a cone angle that is smaller than the cone angle of the conical receptacle in the holding part.
  • clips extend from the end of the second tubular part facing away from the first tubular part for releasably engaging behind a bead at the end of the neck of a bottle.
  • clamps enable a central attachment to the bead of a bottle and thus also a central insertion of the piercing mandrel into the pierceable closure of a bottle.
  • clamps extend from the end of the first tubular part facing away from the second tubular part for preferably releasably engaging behind a bead at the end of the neck of a bottle. This ensures a central attachment of the transfer device according to the invention and a central insertion into the pierceable closure through the cannula. Since there are clamps on both tubular parts in these embodiments, the bottles with the solvent and the drug are hooked together as a dry substance.
  • the piercing mandrel is held in the center of a plate which is supported on the first tubular part against the piercing direction, which makes it easier to remove the piercing mandrel.
  • An expedient development of this embodiment consists in that the plate clamps for engaging behind a bead at the end of the neck of a bottle has, wherein these clamps extend in the circumferential direction between the clamps of the first tubular part, and so that they engage behind the same bead of a bottle. The first tubular part and the plate with the piercing pin are thus held on the bottle independently of one another.
  • a particularly expedient development of this embodiment consists in that the clamps of the plate have a greater holding force than the clamps of the first tubular part, such that when a bottle is pulled off the first tubular part, the plate is carried along with the piercing mandrel and remains on the bottle , In this way, the tapered receptacle is released, which is connected to the cannula, so that the tapered pin of a syringe can be attached and the dissolved medicament can be suctioned off.
