Description

  • The present invention relates to assemblies for the packaging and the separate distribution of at least two products, in particular two cosmetic or care products, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • "Cosmetic product" means a product as defined in Council Directive 93/35 / EEC of 14 June 1993.
  • From the teaching of the document EP-1378188 there is known a coupling member for assembling two autonomous devices for packaging and separate application of cosmetic products.
It is also known from the document US-2004-190974 an assembly comprising two assembled containers. The first container has a first opening closed by means provided by the bottom of the second container. The second container further comprises a second opening closed by a closure cap. The two containers are stacked on top of each other. In fact, when this set rests by the bottom of the first container on a plane support, the products respectively contained in the first and the second container remain, because of gravity, respectively in the bottom of each of these containers.
From the request for European patent EP-A-1382541 , there is also known a set for the separate packaging of two products comprising a container containing a first product and closed by a closure cap, this closure cap having a base portion having on the one hand fixing means to allow the closing the container, and secondly a housing containing a second product. This housing is closed by a portion of the movable capsule relative to the base portion. In this case also, the products respectively contained in the container and said housing stagnate at the bottom of their respective container.
  • Document is known US 5848731 a container containing a first product and provided with a dispensing nozzle with a removable cover, this dispensing nozzle having a housing for storing a second product.
  • There is a need to provide a simple means for generating a flow of product in at least one of the container and or the housing provided in the closure cap of such sets, without substantially changing the gesture of implementation of these sets during the successive application of the products contained therein respectively.
  • Of the document EP-1000607 there is moreover known a process for making the eyelashes consisting of the successive application of two products, the first product applied being a film-forming composition and the second applied product consisting of solid particles sprinkled on a layer of this film-forming composition before the latter does not dry.
  • The subject of the invention is a packaging and dispensing assembly that at least partially solves the problem stated above, this assembly comprising:
    • a container containing a first product,
    • a closure cap having a base portion configured to removably seal the container,
characterized in that it comprises a housing defined in a movable portion of the closure cap, this housing containing a second product, an opening of the housing being closed by a lid, such that the movable part can take, relative to the part of base, a closed position in which the lid is made inaccessible by the base portion, and an open position in which the lid is accessible.
    • a first applicator member adapted to be contained in the volume defined by the container and the base part, when the container is closed by said base part,
    • a second application member, such that the housing can be configured to contain it.
  • The cover is rendered inaccessible by the base part, since the direct manual gripping of the cover is prevented by the base part at least. According to the embodiments of the invention, the gripping of the lid is prevented by the base part exclusively, or by the base part and the container on which it is mounted, when it is mounted on the latter so as to 'seal.
  • The movable portion of the closure cap is movable relative to the base portion of this capsule.
  • The second applicator member may be carried by the cover.
  • The movable part can be connected by a film hinge to the base part, and can be made in one piece of plastic material with the movable part. Alternatively, the movable portion may be removable relative to the base portion.
  • The cover can be connected by a film hinge to the moving part. In this case, the base portion, the movable portion and the cover may optionally be made together in one piece of plastic material Alternatively, the cover may be removable relative to the movable portion.
  • The lid may comprise sealing means for sealing said housing. In particular, it may comprise a sealing lip.
  • The second product may be fluid, and in particular powdery or liquid.
  • The lid may include a gripping means to facilitate the handling of the lid, the gripping means being masked between the base portion and the movable portion, when the closure cap is in the closed position. In particular, this gripping means can form a lug protruding from a face of the cover opposite to that facing the housing.

  • The figure 1 shows a set 1 according to the invention. The assembly 1 comprises a container 2 containing a first product P1 and having an opening 3 for dispensing this first product P1. Figure 1 , the opening 3 is closed by a closure cap 4.
  • The container 2 may be made of glass or a thermoplastic material. It may have transparent walls for checking the level of product P1 remaining in the container 2.
  • The container 2 has a longitudinal axis X. In the examples shown and in particular Figure 1 the X axis extends perpendicularly to a bottom 5 on which the container 2 can rest on a flat surface. The opening 3 can be defined in a plane parallel to the bottom 5.
  • The closure cap 4 comprises a base portion 6 having complementary securing means 7 of fastening means 8 presented on the outer periphery of the container 2. The base portion 6 may in particular be configured to be fixed by screwing, snapping or friction on the container 2. The fastening means 7 and 8 may respectively comprise a thread, a relief intended to allow snapping, in particular an annular groove or bead, or a part intended to cooperate by friction with the container 2.
  • In particular, Figure 1 , the base portion 6 comprises a support 9 which projects beyond a skirt 10 having said fastening means 7 to cooperate with the fastening means 8 presented at the neck 11 of the container 2. The support 9 may be provided to come into sealing contact with a periphery of the opening 3.
  • According to the embodiment shown Figure 1 , the base portion 6 comprises a first applicator member 12 protruding from the support 9, and extending at least partially inside the container 2 when the closure cap 4 closes the opening 3. In particular, first applicator member 12 is mounted at the end of a rod 13 erected perpendicular to the support 9.
  • As shown Figure 1 , the rod 13 protrudes from a rod holder 14 attached and retained by cooperation with the skirt 10, this rod holder 14 having said fastening means 7. This rod holder 14 may be provided to come into sealing contact with a periphery of the opening 3, if necessary. Still according to this embodiment, the first product P1 is a cosmetic composition, such as a mascara, intended to be applied to keratinous fibers, the first application member 12 is then configured for such an application and is in the form of a pasted brush. For this purpose, the neck 11 is provided with a wiper 15 intended to cooperate with the brush so as to calibrate the amount of product presented on the brush during each application.
  • The assembly 1 according to the invention allows a makeup aiming at first to apply the first product P1, and in a second time to apply a second product P2. For this purpose, the closure cap 4 has a housing 16 defined in a movable portion 17 of the capsule 4. This portion 17 is said to be mobile because it can be moved relative to the base portion 6 of the same capsule.
  • In the example shown Figure 1 , the movable part 17 is connected to the base part 6 on a side opposite to that of which the fixing skirt 10 projects. It is in particular mounted on this base part 6 so that the base part 6 is suitable for to hide an opening 18 for access to the housing 16. The part 17 being mobile, it is configured to be able to pass from this first so-called "closed" position in which the access to the housing 16 is masked at a second "open" position in which the opening 18 of the housing 16 is accessible.
  • To maintain the closed position, the movable portion 17 can be configured to be retained by screwing, snapping or friction on the base portion 6. In the example shown Figure 2 , the mobile part 17 has an elastically deformable tongue 19 adapted to cooperate by snapping with a complementary groove 20 presented at the inner periphery of a second skirt 21 protruding from the support 9 in a direction opposite to that of the first skirt 10.
  • When the user wishes to apply the first product P1, the base portion 6 and the movable portion 17 are preferably held in closed position to form a member for gripping and handling the first applicator member 12.
  • To apply the second product P2, the base portion 6 is preferably mounted on the container 2 so as to facilitate handling, and the movable portion 17 is brought from the "closed" position to the "open" position so as to render the opening 18 accessible. Indeed, this opening 18 is closed by a cover 22, such that in the "closed" position, the cover 22 is inaccessible, hidden by the base portion 6, between the base portion 6 and the movable portion 17, while in the open position, the cover 22 is accessible so as to be clear of the opening 18. The user then removes said cover 22 and takes a quantity of this second product P2. The second product P2 can be applied at the same place, over the first product P1, or be applied on a separate area from that where the first product P1 has already been applied.
  • The cover 22 is configured to be retained by screwing, snapping or friction on the movable portion 17 so as to close the opening 18 of said housing in the "open" and "closed" positions respectively.
  • To facilitate the application of this second product P2, the assembly 1 may comprise a second dedicated application member 23 for the application of the second product P2.
  • In particular, this second applicator member 23 can be configured to extend into the housing 16. It can also be retained on the cover 22 so that the latter forms a means for gripping said applicator member 23.
  • In the example shown Figures 1 and 2 the second product P2 is pulverulent and comprises solid bodies such as flakes and / or pigments, for example nacre, and the second applicator member 23 is in the form of an elastically deformable member, for example made from a flocked moss. This member 23 is in particular presented at the end of a second rod 24 protruding from a face 25 of the cover 22, the face 25 being disposed facing the interior of the housing 16 when the cover 22 closes the housing 16.
  • With a set according to the embodiment of the Figures 1 and 2 , the user can make a makeup of her eyelashes starting with the application of the first product P1 by means of the first applicator member 12, and before the spread product P1 has fully dried on her eyelashes, she applies the second product P2 so that it is retained on its eyelashes by this first product.
  • In particular, when the second product P2 is fluid and in particular powdery, it tends, during its storage, to agglomerate and form packets much larger in size than the particles that the user seeks to apply. It then becomes difficult for the user to correctly dose the amount of this second product to be applied. Because the housing 16 is provided in the movable portion 17 of the closure cap 4, when the user brings said capsule into the open position, it holds in one hand the container 2 closed by the base portion 6, and the moving part 17 is rotated relative to this base portion 6. The passage from the closed position to the open position therefore generates a product flow in the housing 16 due to the movement imposed on the moving part 17 and gravity.
  • Similarly, when the second product P2 is fluid and in particular liquid, it can be provided to apply it by means of the second application member 23. However, after several applications, the remaining level of product in the housing does not necessarily guarantee that the second applicator member is immersed in said second product. Driving the movable portion 17 in motion relative to the base portion 6 generates a flow of product into the housing, which improves the contacting of the second product with the second applicator member.
  • Indeed, the mobile part 17 is in the presented embodiment Figures 1 and 2 connected by a hinge 26 to the base portion 6. In particular this hinge 26 is of the film hinge type as shown Figure 3 , the base portion 6 and the movable portion 17 can then be obtained from a single molding piece. The movable portion 17 can be rotated about an axis Y passing through this hinge.
  • The axis of rotation Y is preferably orthogonal to the longitudinal axis X. Thus in the closed position, the movable portion 17 is disposed on the base portion 6 so that the opening 18 is perpendicular to this longitudinal axis X , and that a longitudinal axis of the closure cap 4 is substantially superimposed on the longitudinal axis X. From the closed position to the open position, the movable portion 17 is caused to rotate 180 °, the portion base 6 and the container 2 being held so that the X axis is erected perpendicular to the horizontal. In the open position, the movable portion 17 is made to be disposed next to the base portion 6 so that a border delimiting the movable portion extends in the same plane as the border delimiting the second skirt 21.
  • In the open position, the opening 18 of the housing is presented upwards, and the second product is not likely to flow by gravity out of this housing 16, even if the cover 22 is removed.
  • In the closed position, the opening 18 is presented downwards, if the opening 3 of the container 2 is oriented upwards.
  • The film hinge 26 may be a spring hinge for facilitating and accelerating the passage from the closed position to the open position, and vice versa. In this case, the film hinge 26 then comprises at least one connecting strip 27 connecting the base portion 6 to the mobile part 17 such that this connecting strip 27 passes through an optimum of tension or compression when the moving part 17 is displaced relative to the base portion 6.
  • The cover 22 can be removably provided relative to the movable portion 17. Alternatively, it could also be linked via a hinge of the film hinge type to this movable part 17.
  • To facilitate the introduction and removal of the cover 22 relative to the movable portion, the cover 22 comprises a gripping means 28. The gripping means protrudes from a face 29 of this cover opposite to the face 25 disposed opposite the 16. The gripping means may be under the in the closed position, the gripping means 28 extends in a space between the cover 22 and the support 9, this space is at least partially delimited laterally by the second skirt 21 of the base part 6.
  • Alternatively, as shown in Figures 4 to 15 , the various elements of the assembly according to the invention are numbered with the prefix of the hundred relative to the identical elements of the first embodiment.
  • In particular the 101 set of the figure 4 comprises a container 102 may be in the form of a flexible wall tube, such as a pressure exerted on the outer periphery of these walls leads to deform and reduce the internal volume of the tube. The first product P1 contained in this tube can then be pushed out of the opening 103 defined by this tube and be taken for example directly to the finger by the user. In the embodiment presented Figure 4 , the assembly 101 does not include a first applicator. The opening and closing of the closure cap 104 on the tube is in particular obtained by screwing the fastening means respectively 107 and 108 provided.
  • Furthermore, in this embodiment, the movable portion 117 is removably screwed onto the base portion 106, so that the transition from the closed position to the open position is achieved at least by rotating the moving part. 117 relative to the base portion 106 about the longitudinal axis X. During this unscrewing, the flow created in the housing 116 is centrifuged. In addition, when the movable portion 117 has been unscrewed, it must be turned over to allow the user to access the gripping means 128 in order to remove the cover 122. By turning over the moving part 117, a flow of product P2 is also generated in dwelling 116.
  • In an embodiment according to the invention, represented in particular Figure 4 , the assembly may not have a second applicator for the second product. The second product can also be sampled directly in the housing 116 when the cover 122 has been removed. According to figure 4 , the cover 122 is held by friction against an inner periphery of the movable portion 117 delimiting the housing 116. In the closed position, the gripping means 128 is brought into abutment against a face of the support 109.
  • The application member or members provided in an assembly such as 1 according to the invention may have a surface state and various shapes and the application surface of these members may, for example, have a generally convex shape towards the outside.
  • According to other embodiments, these application members such as 12 and 23 may be porous. They may comprise for example an open cell foam or closed. They may be compressible, comprising for example an elastically deformable material such as a polyurethane foam, polyester, polyether, PVC, NBR or felt. They can also be made of a non-compressible material, such as a sintered material, for example sintered from polyethylene, PVC, EVA, polyamide or brass. In particular when the applicator member comprises a non-porous material, deformable or not, it can be pierced with at least one orifice allowing the passage of the product.
  • The application members according to the invention may comprise, externally, a skin made of an impermeable material and traversed by at least one orifice allowing the passage of the first product. The application surface of said applicator member may also be defined, for example, by a woven fabric, a nonwoven, a screen or a leather. The application members 12 and 23 may comprise several layers of different natures.
  • The application members according to the invention may also be in the form of a brush, a comb, a brush, a buffer, or an elastically deformable tip, optionally flocked.
  • In particular, in the embodiment of the assembly 201 according to the invention presented Figure 5 , variant of the embodiment of the Figure 1 the first applicator member 212 is in the form of a porous tip flocked, the first product P1 being preferably liquid, and the assembly 201 according to this variant does not include a second applicator member.
  • In the embodiment of the assembly 301 according to the invention presented Figure 6 the first product P1 is a nail polish, and the second product P2 is in the form of flakes. In this case, the first applicator member is in the form of a brush 312, and the second applicator member is in the form of a buffer 323. The stamp comprises a pattern capable of being loaded on the surface a thin film of glitter. Figure 7 various patterns that can be presented by the buffer 323 are presented. Such an assembly allows in particular to apply a layer of varnish on the nails and then stamp a glittery pattern on the varnish layer being dried so as to retain the flakes in the varnish and create an aesthetic effect.
  • In the embodiment of the assembly 401 according to the invention presented Figure 8 , the container 402 is an aerosol container, the first product P1 is contained under pressure, and its distribution can be obtained via a valve 450 opening into a porous body 412 disposed opposite an outlet 451 of the valve 450 and serving as the first enforcement body. The first applicator member 412 is masked by the base portion 406 of the closure cap which is snapped onto the support 452 of the porous body mounted on the valve body 450. In this case, the face 425 of the cover 422 oriented towards the interior of the housing 416 is covered with a film, for example non-woven, intended to form the second applicator member 423.
  • In the embodiment of the assembly 501 according to the invention presented Figure 9 , the first product is in the form of a loaf mounted on a movable member so as to be presented outside the container 502, the first product taking for example the shape of a lipstick bread. The closure cap 504 is provided to be mounted on the container 502 when the product bread is returned to the interior of the container. The second product contained in the movable portion 517 may be intended to be applied to the lips, it is for example a gloss.
  • In the embodiment of the assembly 601 shown in FIG. Figure 10 , the container 602 is in the form of a bottle containing a first product P1. It is closed by a capsule 604 which comprises a base portion 606, and this time two housings delimited respectively by two moving parts 617a and 617b respectively containing a second and a third product P2 and P3.
  • The base portion 606 is screwed onto the neck of the container 602. It carries an applicator member 612 at the end of a stem 613, for example in the form of a brush, which is contained in the container 602 when the base part is screwed on the neck.
  • The capsule 604 has two moving parts 617a and 617b on either side of the base portion 606, the two moving parts being substantially symmetrical with respect to a median plane passing through the axis X of the container. The movable portions 617a and 617b are connected to the base portion 606 by hinges 626a and 626b, including film hinges, located at the upper end of the movable portions. The movable parts 617a and 617b can be rotated about an axis passing through these hinges and perpendicular to the axis X. They can be held in the closed position on the base portion 606 for example by snapping.
  • Each movable portion 617a and 617b has an opening 618a and 618b formed at its lower end. Each opening 618a and 618b is closed by a cover 622a and 622b configured to be retained for example by snapping on the movable part 617a and 617b so as to close the opening 618a and 618b of the housing in the "open" and "closed" positions .
  • When the moving parts 617a and 617b are snapped onto the base portion 606, as seen in FIG. figure 10 , the covers 622 are closed and they are facing the shoulder of the bottle. Access to the housing 616a and 616b is thus masked in part by the base portion 606 but also by the bottle.
  • When the user wishes to apply the second or third product P2 or P3, she rotates one or other of the moving parts 617a or 617b around hinges 626a or 626b so as to disengage the covers 622a or 622b and make them accessible. It then suffices to remove the cover to access the product.
  • According to this embodiment, each cover 622a and 622b carries an applicator member 623a and 623b.
  • Instead of being connected to the base portion 706 by hinges, the movable portions 717a and 717b can be removably attached to the base portion 706 by means of a rib which is received in a groove. According to an embodiment illustrated in figure 11 each movable portion 717a and 717b may comprise a rib 730 extending over a portion of its height, parallel to the axis X when the capsule is in the closed position. The rib 730 has a T-shaped cross-section. It is configured to slide in a complementary shaped groove 731 provided on the base portion 706 as seen in FIG. figure 13 . The moving parts can thus slide in the grooves 731 until they completely separate from the base part 706. The dimensions of the ribs and grooves will be chosen so that there is sufficient friction between the two parts to avoid that the moving parts do not separate from the base portion under the effect of the simple gravity, while allowing the sliding of the moving parts when the user wishes to remove them.
  • According to this embodiment, one of the moving parts 717b may be identical to that illustrated in FIG. figure 10 , that is to say having an opening 718b at its lower end closed by a cover 722b, the cover carrying an applicator member 723b.
  • When the base portion 717b is slid into the groove 731 away from the vial, the shoulder of the vial no longer masks the cover 722b which becomes accessible so that it can be released from the opening 718b.
  • The second mobile part 717a of the capsule 704, illustrated in FIG. figure 12 , this time comprises an opening 718a delimited at the upper end of the moving part. It is closed by a flap 722 formed on the side of the moving part which faces the base part 706 when the movable part is mounted on the base part, above the rib 730. The flap is configured to rotate around an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the rib, just above it, like a pourer. The product P2 contained in the housing 716a can thus be taken without an applicator member.
  • When the movable portion 717a is attached to the base portion 706, as seen in FIG. figure 11 , the shutter is closed and it is opposite the base portion 706. The access to the housing 716a is thus masked by the upper part of the base portion 706.
  • Just slide the base portion 717a into the groove 731 away from the bottle to release the flap 722 so as to rotate to pour the product P2.
  • According to a variant of a capsule illustrated on the Figures 14 and 15 the movable part 817 may comprise a lateral opening 818 formed on the side of the movable part which faces the base part 806 when the movable part is mounted on the base part, above the rib 830. The opening 818 is for example defined by a tubular skirt which can be closed by a plug 822 screwed onto the skirt. The base portion 806 of the capsule has a thinened upper end 807 opposite which is the plug 822 when the movable portion is mounted on the base portion. The plug 822 opens along an axis perpendicular to the axis of the rib so that when the movable portion 817 is mounted on the base portion, the cap can not be unscrewed since it is masked by the thinned portion 807 of the basic part.
  • When the capsule has two moving parts, it is obvious that they can each pass independently of the closed position in which the access to the housing is hidden in the open position in which the opening of the housing is accessible. The products P2 and P3 may be identical or different.
  • The first and / or second and / or third products may be, for example, a powdered product, compacted or not, a cream, a gel, and may or may not include solid bodies such as flakes and / or pigments, for example nacre.
  • The first, second and third products, respectively contained in the container and in the housing (s), may be complementary, that is to say intended to be deposited simultaneously or successively on the same treated region. The color of the second and / or third product may be different from that of the first product. One of the products may be a makeup or care product and the other a product intended to modify the color and / or the texture of the first product, so as to adapt its color to a particular skin color or make-up. , for example.
  • The second and third products can be put into place in the housing, for example by being poured into it or by being present in a cup attached to said housing.
  • Throughout the description, the phrase "having one" should be considered synonymous with "having at least one", unless the opposite is specified.
