Der Reed-Kontakt 113b steht bei geschlossenem Fenster einem vom Blendrahmen 103 getragenén, von einem Gehäuse 120 umgebenen Dauermagneten gegenüber und zeigt somit durch seinen Schaltzustand an, ob das Fenster 104 tatsächlich geschlossen ist. Auch dieser Schaltzustand wird über die Funkelektronik 116 der Zentrale mitgeteilt. Im Gegensatz zu den eingangs erwähnten bekannten Schließüberwachungen ist hier der Magnet stationär und der Reed-Kontakt beweglich angeordnet. Mit Hilfe der Funkelektronik erspart man sich eine ortsfeste Verkabelung zwischen den Sensoren 111, 113 und der Zentrale.
