Definitions

  • the invention relates to a wiper and a method for producing a mop cover for the wiper.
  • the mop cover consists of a rectangular base material and has insertion pockets for receiving a clamping frame, wherein the insertion pockets are produced by attaching a separately produced cover material to the base material on the front side.
  • the previously known method for producing the mop cover is unsatisfactory in terms of manufacturing technology and economy, since in addition to the rectangular base material, two parts of the cover material must be produced, cut to size and then connected to the base material.
  • From the DE 2 611 615 A is a mop cover for a wiper known by folding and attaching the corners pockets for the triangular-shaped at the end faces carrier of the wiper.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a method of the type mentioned in such a way that this is simple and inexpensive to carry out.
  • the mop cover should be made such that it allows efficient cleaning in corners.
  • a method for producing a mop cover for a wiper comprising a carrier and the carrier at least partially enclosing mop cover, wherein the carrier on two opposite sides arrow-shaped pointing away from each other, having triangular end faces during normal use the wiper are arranged in congruently designed, triangular pockets of the mop cover, wherein the imaginary extensions of the side lines of the faces and the pockets are each arranged substantially at right angles to each other and angularly cutting through each other, wherein the pockets formed by the mop cover itself and integrally with the same material are formed and wherein each of the insertion pockets has only one seam to form the insertion pockets, which extend from their respective end tip perpendicular to their respective green
  • a planar rectangular sheet substantially corresponding to the width and length of the carrier is folded longitudinally along its half width, wherein in a second method step the pieces arranged at right angles to the fold line are superimposed on one another lying end sides half width at the ends are connected to each
  • the production of the mop cover is particularly simple and inexpensive.
  • sheet goods which is cut to length according to the required width of the mop cover.
  • a decisive advantage of the claimed method is the fact that despite the arrow-shaped, pointing away from each other, triangular end faces of the ready-to-use mop cover a rectangular sheet is sufficient for its production and that no waste is produced during the production of the mop cover. The material utilization is therefore particularly good.
  • the pockets of the mop cover are closed in the form described above by only one, straight seam and that the pockets are automatically transferred to the ready-to-use form by folding the fold after the second and further process step.
  • the end faces can be sewn together, welded or glued together in the second process step. Sewing the end faces is simple and inexpensive to carry out and the end faces are reliably connected to each other during the entire service life of the mop cover. Welding offers itself as a particularly cost-effective method for the production, but requires a sufficiently high content of thermally softenable substance in the mop cover, for example in the form of thermoplastic fibers.
  • An adhesive bond is also an economical method for producing the seams, in particular a hot bond.
  • the necessary, thermally softenable material For example, polypropylene or polyethylene is supplied from a secondary source and activated by temporary thermal liquefaction and solidified by subsequent cooling. The technique is known from other fields.
  • the production of the mop cover is particularly simple if the fabric is folded in the first method step such that the mop surface of the mop cover is arranged on the outside. After joining the arranged perpendicular to the fold line, superimposed end sides half width to each other, only the fold must be unfolded. The pockets arise automatically when unfolding the fold. The seam is outside when the mop cover is mounted on the carrier, i. visibly attached.
  • the fabric can be folded in the first method step such that the mop surface is arranged inside.
  • the wiping surface is then turned inside out in a next method step.
  • the pockets are self-evident, concealing the seam, i. is disposed inwardly and points in the direction of the carrier.
  • the invention relates to a wiper.
  • a wiper is for example from the DE 198 23 044 C1 known.
  • the wiper comprises a rectangular support and a correspondingly designed mop cover, which consists of a substantially rectangular base material.
  • the pockets are on the wiping surface facing side of the base material and on the side facing away from the wiping surface bounded by a cover material, wherein the base material and the cover material are joined together to form the insertion pockets. Due to the two-part design of the pockets of the wiper is less satisfactory in manufacturing and economic terms.
  • the invention has for its object to further develop a wiper of the known type such that this is easier and cheaper to produce and that the shape of the wiper surface is more suitable to clean even hard to reach places.
  • a wiper comprising a carrier and a carrier at least partially enclosing mop cover, wherein the carrier on two opposite sides arrow pointing away from each other technological, triangular end faces, which during the intended use of the wiper in congruent designed, triangular pockets of the mop cover are arranged, wherein the imaginary extensions of the side lines of the end faces and the insertion pockets are each arranged substantially at right angles to each other and angularly through cutting each other, wherein the insertion pockets formed by the mop cover itself and are integrally formed with the same material and with this and wherein each of the pockets has only one seam to form the pockets, which extends from their respective end tip perpendicular to their respective baseline.
  • the pockets are formed by the mop cover itself and integrally formed of the same material with this. Due to the only one seam, which shoots each pocket and extends from the respective end tip perpendicular to the respective baseline, the effort for producing the mop cover is minimized.
  • the edge of the mop cover can be at least partially covered by a border. Fraying of the edge is thereby prevented, and especially when the mop cover is made of a high-pile material, this is clearly defined by the enclosure in size and shape.
  • the mounting of the mop cover on the carrier is thereby simplified for the user.
  • the seams may each be covered by a protective strip on the side facing away from the carrier.
  • a protective strip on the side facing away from the carrier.
  • the seam is protected against the influence of external factors that reduce its duration of use.
  • the uncovered, externally visible seam can be covered by the protective strip, resulting in a surface without protrusions and a more aesthetic appearance.
  • the carrier may be designed as a wiper frame and comprise two clamping wings, which are locked during the intended use, wherein of the clamping straps at least one for mounting / dismounting of the Mop cover is foldable.
  • one of the tensioning wings can be folded down at right angles with respect to the other tensioning wing so that both tensioning wings can be fitted / removed from the insertion pockets in the insertion pockets.
  • the carrier may for example consist of a polymeric material.
  • the carrier is then stainless and has only a comparatively low mass for better handling.
  • the carrier may be connected to a stem, wherein the carrier and the stem are interconnected by, for example, a gimbal joint. Especially in connection with the arrow-shaped pointing away from each other, triangular end faces of the carrier and mop cover even hard to reach areas can be easily cleaned.
  • Fig. 1 the carrier 3 of the wiper 2 is shown in a plan view.
  • the carrier 3 is designed as a wiper frame 34 and comprises two clamping wings 35, 36, which, as in Fig. 5 also shown, are lockable in the position shown here.
  • the locking of the clamping wings 35, 36 can be actuated by the closure 37.
  • the shutter 37 is actuated and one of the two clamping wings 35, 36 folds, relative to the other clamping wing 36, 35 about the axis 38 which extends transversely to the longitudinal direction 21, substantially at right angles downwards.
  • the carrier 3 has on its two opposite sides 4, 5 arrow pointing away from each other pioneering, triangular end faces 6, 7, during the intended use of the wiper 2, as in Fig. 5 represented, in the congruent designed triangular pockets 8, 9 of the wiper 1 are arranged.
  • the carrier 3 consists in the embodiment shown here of a polymeric material and comprises a kardanä Switzerland movable sleeve for receiving a stem 40, not shown here.
  • Fig. 2 the mop cover is shown during its manufacture.
  • Fig. 2 a is shown a plan view of the sheet 20 following the cutting of the web 41.
  • the length 42 and width 22 of the sheet 20 corresponds substantially to the length 44 and width 43 of the carrier 3.
  • the fold line 23 is shown in dashed lines. it extends in the longitudinal direction 21 along half the width 22.
  • Fig. 2 b the sheet 20 is shown following the first and second process steps, wherein the perpendicular to the fold line 23rd arranged, superposed end face 24, 25; 26, 27 are half-stitched together.
  • the fabric 20 is folded in the embodiment shown here in the first method step such that the wiping surface 29 is disposed inside.
  • Fig. 2 c is the folded and stitched fabric of the Figures 2 a and 2 b shown, which was turned after the second process step, so that the first internally disposed wiper surface 29 is now arranged outside; the seam that made up the overlapping faces Fig. 2 b is interconnected, is obscured by the fact that it is located inside.
  • Fig. 3 the subsequent process step is shown.
  • the fold 28 is unfolded to produce a flat wiping surface 29, wherein the pockets 8, 9 form automatically upon unfolding of the fold 28.
  • Each of the pockets 8, 9 has only one seam 14, 15 for forming the insertion pocket 8, 9, wherein the seams 14, 15 extend from their respective end tips 16, 17 perpendicular to their respective base lines 18, 19.
  • the edge 30 of the mop cover 1 is covered along its longitudinal sides by the enclosure 31.
  • the seams 14, 15 on the side facing away from the carrier 3 are each covered by a protective strip 32, 33, as in FIG Fig. 3 b shown.
  • Fig. 4 is the mop cover 1 off Fig. 3 shown in a view from below.
  • the wiping surface 29 has a profiling in the form of longitudinally extending strips 21, which are formed by a higher, particularly absorbent pile.
  • Fig. 5 the wiper 2 is shown in ready to use condition.
  • the carrier 3 is connected to a stem 40 and arranged in the triangular pockets 8, 9.
  • the end faces 6, 7 and the pockets 8, 9 are congruent designed, the imaginary extensions of the side lines 10, 11; 12, 13 of the end faces 6, 7 and the pockets 8, 9 are angularly intersecting each other and each arranged substantially at right angles to each other.
  • the side lines 10, 11; 12, 13 of the end faces 6, 7 and the pockets 8, 9 can also limit each other immediately.
  • the pockets 8, 9 are formed by the mop cover 1 itself and integrally formed of the same material with this.
