    Die Erfindung sei anhand der Zeichnungen im Folgenden näher beschrieben:
    Ein Bett(1) weist einen an ihm schwenkbar befestigten Tisch auf. Dieser besteht im Wesentlichen aus Tischplatte(2) und Tischgestell(3). Erfindungsgemäß ist die Tischplatte(2) mittels des schwenkbaren Tischgestells(3) gesamtverlagerbar und wird von einer Anfangsposition(4) als seitlichem Nachttisch bis zu einer Arbeitsposition(5) direkt vor einer im Bett sitzenden Person geschwenkt (siehe Fig.1 und Fig.2). Die Tischhöhe wächst von einer üblichen Nachttischhöhe während des Schwenkens auf eine Arbeitshöhe an, wobei vorteilhaft für eine auf dem Bett sitzende Person die wesentliche Höhenveränderung schon auf dem Wegabschnitt seitlich am Bett(1) vorbei stattfindet.
