Claims (8)

  1. An electrical apparatus comprising a connecting block (1) for connecting two conductor cables (40) comprising:
    - two introduction orifices (6, 7) for said cables (40);
    - two elastic blades (30) each disposed in facing relationship with a said introduction orifice (6, 7), each comprising a holding edge (34) adapted to hold a respective said conductor cable (40) against a contact portion of a conductor element (35, 36) connected to the rest of the apparatus;
    - two adjacent thrust members (4, 5) adapted to each control the position of a respective one of said two edges (34) and each comprising an arm (10) having at a first end (11) at a first side a control pad (12) and at a second side opposite to the first side a finger (13) bearing against a respective said blade (30), each thrust member (4, 5) being movable between a depressed position in which said edge (34) is at a spacing from said contact portion and a rest position in which said edge (34) is in the proximity of said contact portion,
    characterised in that one of said pads (12) comprises a groove having at least one L-shaped portion (14) and the other of said pads (12) comprises a groove having at least one J-shaped portion (14) in such a way that, when said pads (12) are each in the rest position, said two grooves (14) jointly form a recess (17) having at least one U-shaped portion, each parallel limb of said recess (17) being intended to receive in the rest position a tool (50) for putting into the depressed position the thrust member (4, 5) to which it belongs and the transverse limb being intended to receive a tool (50) for simultaneously putting into the depressed position the two said thrust members (4, 5).
  2. Apparatus according to claim 1 characterised in that said block (1) comprises a body (3), in relation to which said two thrust members (4, 5) are rotatably movable, each said thrust member (4, 5) comprising means (23, 24, 25) for mounting one to the other and to said body (3) and being of complementary cylindrical shapes.
  3. Apparatus according to claim 2 characterised in that said mounting means (23, 24, 25) are disposed at a second end (19) of said arm (10), that is opposite to said first end.
  4. Apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims characterised in that said block (1) comprises a body (3) to which said introduction orifices (6, 7) belong, each said finger (13) comprising a face (20) in facing relationship with a said orifice (6, 7) in said depressed position, said face (20) being provided with a set-back portion (21), said set-back portion (21) being in alignment with said orifice (6, 7) in the depressed position, the rest of said face being in projecting relationship.
  5. Apparatus according to claim 4 characterised in that said set-back portions (21) of the two said fingers (13) are adjacent to each other.
  6. Apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims characterised in that said block (1) comprises a body (3) comprising for each said thrust member (4, 5) a first end-of-travel abutment and a second end-of-travel abutment for said pad (12) when the thrust member (4, 5) is respectively in the depressed position and in the rest position with respectively a first end of said pad (12) which comes to bear against the first abutment and a second end of said pad (12) that is opposite to said first end and comes to bear against said second abutment.
  7. Apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims characterised in that each said thrust member (4, 5) comprises elastic return means (60) for the return of said thrust member (4, 5) from said depressed position to said rest position.
  8. Apparatus according to claim 7 characterised in that said block (1) comprises a body (3), said elastic return means comprising a stem (60) disposed at a second end (19) of said arm (10), that is opposite to said first end and on said first side, the free end (61) of said stem (60) bearing against a wall of said body (3), said stem (60) being adapted to elastically deform when said thrust member (4, 5) passes from one said position to the other.
