Description

The present invention relates to a refrigerator such as a refrigerator or a freezer, with a body and a door hinged to the body, which define a heat-insulated interior. Usually, such refrigerators are provided with an interior lighting, which is automatically turned on when the door is opened. Conventionally, such an interior lighting comprises a single luminous body, which is attached to a lateral inner wall of the body.

Such an interior lighting illuminates objects in their immediate surroundings very brightly and undesirably also gives off heat to these objects. Objects that are located at a greater distance from the luminous element, possibly on other shelves of the interior than that on which the filament is mounted, in contrast, are only poorly lit. In addition, with such an interior lighting, it is difficult to satisfactorily illuminate objects in the front region of the interior without dazzling a user looking into the opened interior from the front.

Out EP 0 971 186 A2 is a refrigeration device has become known in which a plurality of luminous bodies are attached to the insides of the body. These luminous bodies, which may be mounted, inter alia, on opposite sides of the interior or may extend over the greater part of its height, allow a homogeneous illumination of the interior. However, the assembly of the refrigerator is extremely expensive, since a large number of openings in the inner wall of the body is required to mount the lighting fixture and to contact electrically. In addition, even in this refrigerator waste heat of the light source used is inevitably discharged to the interior.

A refrigerator according to the preamble of claim 1 is made EP04718931 known.

Object of the present invention is to provide a refrigeration device that allows a uniform illumination of the interior without dazzling the user with simple means.

The object is achieved by a refrigeration device with the features of claim 1. By at least one luminous body for illuminating the interior of an interior facing the inner wall of the door according to the characterizing part of claim 1 is mounted, the distance between the luminous body and illuminated by him Be made larger objects, so that a uniformly bright illumination can be achieved, and shading by placed close to the luminaire objects is excluded. In addition, the luminous body is outside the main viewing angle of a user who looks inside the open refrigerator, so that there is hardly a direct risk of glare.

In order to completely rule out the possibility of glare, it is provided that the luminous element radiates predominantly into an angular range whose apex forms the luminous element itself and on the one hand by a vertical on the inside of the door and on the other hand by a section extending from the filament to the worn side of the door is limited by the inside. That is, when the door is open and protrudes at right angles from the body, the radiation of the filament is directed substantially into the interior; radiation in the direction of a user who is standing in front of the opened refrigeration device and who could dazzle this does not take place.

Such a luminous body is preferably arranged centrally with respect to the width direction of the door. So he is regardless of which side of the door is hinged, always placed appropriately.

If the luminous body is placed off-center, then it is expedient to provide the door with two mounting positions on both sides of the center line, where the filament is optional mountable, so that he, depending on which side the door is hinged, are always placed appropriately can.

Preferably, in this case, the luminous element is mounted on that of the two assembly stations, which is located on the side of the center line facing the damaged side of the door. Thus, the risk of shading by the user is even lower than if the luminaire would be mounted on the off-beat side of the door.

According to a preferred embodiment, the luminous element on the door can optionally be mounted in two orientations rotated by 180 ° about an axis perpendicular to the door. This is particularly expedient if the luminous element is not intended to radiate in the direction of said axis, but rather in the angular region between the axis and the section of the inner side extending from the luminous element to the worn side of the door. Here, the rotation allows an adjustment of the beam direction to the respective selected stop side of the door, without any changes to the configuration of the filament itself are required. If the filament is mounted centrally on the door, then its mounting location should be designed to allow attachment of the filament in both orientations; in the case of two eccentric assembly stations, it may be sufficient if everyone only allows assembly in one orientation.

In order to ensure a glare-free alignment of the light emission, an adjustable beam-shaping element is preferably attached to the luminous element. This element may in particular be a reflector or a diaphragm. A refractive element is also considered.

If the interior of the refrigeration device is subdivided into a plurality of compartments, at least one illuminant should be located at the level of each compartment in order to achieve uniform illumination. This requirement can be met by a plurality of luminous bodies, which are each mounted at different heights on the door; preferred is a single luminous body which extends over the height of several compartments.

Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a refrigerator 10 as an example of a refrigerator according to the invention. To a body 11 of the refrigerator 10, a door 12 is hinged. Carcass 11 and door 12 define an interior space 13 which is subdivided by shelves 16 into a plurality of compartments 17. The door 12 has an outer wall 14 of sheet metal and a plastic material deep-drawn inner wall 15, which are interconnected at the edges and define a space filled with insulating foam cavity. The inner wall 15 has a substantially planar inner side 18, which is framed by a circumferential rib 19 which protrudes slightly into the inner space 13 when the door is closed. A luminous element 20, of which only an outer screen can be seen in the figure, extends centrally on the inside 18 over its entire height.

A first example of a possible internal structure of the luminous element 20 is shown in FIG Fig. 2 shown. The inner side 18 has a cylinder-segment-shaped recess 21, in which a light source 22, here a light tube, is held. The arc tube is connected in each case at its longitudinal ends by support arms 23 with the inner wall 15 through which an electrical supply line 24 extends for the luminous element 20. Of the required two wires of the supply line 24 can each be guided in the amount of each support arm 23 in the cavity 25 of the door 12 and from there via the door hinge in the body 11. Alternatively, a core of the supply line within the recess 21 may be guided from one support arm 23 to the other, so that both wires extend through a single opening of the inner wall 15 on one of the support arms 23.

Instead of a single arc tube could of course also be used over the height of the filament 20 distributed bulbs. In particular, instead of the tube, a rod-shaped support may be provided on which these are mounted a plurality of light sources, for example halogen bulbs or light-emitting diodes, and which has a pair of connection terminals for connection to the supply line to which these multiple light sources are connected in parallel or in series ,

The recess 21 is covered by a half-cylindrical screen 26, preferably made of a transparent or translucent plastic. On the outside of the screen 26 is a extending over its entire height strip-shaped aperture 27 is arranged, which is displaceable along the surface of the screen 26 between two mutually mirror-inverted positions. In the position of the aperture 27, shown as a solid outline, the aperture 27 concentrates the radiation on an angular range between the line 30 perpendicular to the door at the level of the illuminant 22 and the part of the inside of the door 18 lying to the right. This position is for a right-side hinged one Door useful to avoid dazzling a user standing on the left of the door. If the door should be struck on the left side, it is sufficient to adjust the light emission to move the aperture 27 on the opposite side of the screen 26 in the position shown as a dashed outline.

The in Fig. 3 shown in section filament 20 differs from that of Fig. 2 in that there is no shutter 27, and that the screen 26 is constructed as a series of prism-shaped segments. The segments are arranged so that they deflect a light beam emanating from the light source 22 in a clockwise direction, as shown by way of example on a light beam 28 in the figure. This too is effective to prevent or at least reduce the glare of a user who is standing to the left of the user's right-hinged door.

In order to adapt the radiation of this luminous element 20 to an abutment change of the door, it is sufficient to dismantle the screen 26 and re-assemble rotated by 180 ° so that a deflection of the beams results in a counterclockwise direction.

In the embodiment of Fig. 4 the light distribution is determined essentially by a reflector 29 mounted between the light source 22 and the inner wall 15 in the recess 21. The reflector, which may for example have a parabolic or elliptical cross-section, is arranged asymmetrically in order to achieve a light emission predominantly in the region between the line 30 perpendicular to the door and the stop-side part of the inner side 18. The reflector 20 is anchored to the screen 26, so that the entire luminous body 20, consisting of screen 26, illuminant 22 and reflector 29, as a unit separated from the door and rotated by 180 ° about the line 30 can be re-mounted to change the preferred direction of radiation, if the door should be struck on the left side.

In the embodiment of Fig. 5 the lighting means 22 and a reflector 31 are surrounded by a cylindrical screen 26. The complete lamp 20 with screen, reflector and lamp is rotatably supported at its longitudinal ends on the inside 18 of the door and, depending on which side of the door 12 is struck, are rotated by hand to adjust the direction of radiation.

A further embodiment of the refrigerator according to the invention is in Fig. 6 shown as a perspective view. The luminous element 20 is shown here separated from the door 12. On the inner side 18 of the door 12, there are two mounting places 32, 33 which are prepared to receive the luminous element 20. The mounting locations 32, 33 can be defined, for example, as a recess adapted to the shape of the luminous element 20 in which it can be latched or otherwise fastened, by other fastening means or by a recorded or affixed marking. At each mounting place 32, 33 are electrical contact means, here in the form of a pair of sockets, provided for the power supply of the filament 20. The sockets 34 are located at the two mounting locations 32, 33 at different heights, so that the luminous body can be mounted rotated at 180 ° about the surface normal of the door at the two mounting locations. Also in this embodiment, the luminous body 20 is designed so that it preferably radiates obliquely to the surface normal 30. The luminous element 20 should always be mounted on that mounting place 32 or 33, which is closer to the hinged edge of the door 12, in the case shown here, therefore, at the mounting location 32. As with reference to the Fig. 2 to 5 described luminaire 20 is here also the luminous body 20 constructed so that it radiates obliquely to the surface normal 30, in such a way that when it is mounted on the mounting station 32, it preferably radiates into the interior 13 when the door 12 is open.

If the stop of the door 12 is to be moved to the left side of the body 11, then the filament 20 is to be placed on the mounting position 33. By doing due to the placement of the sockets 24 required rotation of the filament 20 is ensured that it radiates in this position with the door open in the interior 13, without dazzling a user.

Instead of a single filament extending over the entire height of the door 12 or at least a large part thereof, of course, several, distributed over the height of the door luminous body can be provided in an analogous manner as described above.
