Claims (3)
- A machine for folding and gluing folding boxes, the machine comprising:a first folding station (7) and at least one second folding station disposed downstream of said first folding station (14), machine components which can be positioned transversely along the machine, said machine components containing conveying elements (5) for blanks for the folding boxes and at least one adhesive application unit,actuating drives for positioning said machine components, a rotary station (9) disposed downstream of said first folding station (7) and upstream of said second folding station (14), said rotary station having a fixedly disposed transport device for the blanks; anda controller which, in a coupled manner, in each case controls said actuating drives of said machine components disposed in front of and behind said rotary station (9) and said machine components being positioned transversely, in dependence of a type of folding box to be produced.
- A method for setting the machine according to claim 1 to a defined box type, characterized in that the machine components situated in front of the rotary station (9) relative to one another and which can be positioned transversely in the machine are initially pre-positioned; and subsequently the machine components situated in front of the rotary station are displaced away from one another in a coupled manner with identical relative spacings, until a transport line of centroids of the blanks is oriented with respect to a center line of the rotary station (9).
- The method according to claim 2, characterized in that the machine components which are disposed behind of the rotary station (9) and which can be disposed transversely are also initially pre-positioned relative to one another, and the machine components disposed downstream of the rotary station are subsequently oriented with respect to a center line of the rotary station (9) in a coupled manner with an identical relative spacing with respect to one another.
