Description

The invention relates to a Manöverpatronengerät for placement over a muzzle fire damper, wherein
  • the muzzle fire damper at its end facing the muzzle end has a longitudinal bore for unhindered passage and a central inner cone, wherein between said inner cone and the mouth of the muzzle flash damper side openings are provided for gas outlet, and
  • the maneuver cartridge device has a centrally disposed tube passing through the bore of the muzzle-fire damper and provided at its rear end with a flat outer cone sealingly seated on the inner cone of the muzzle-fire damper, the tube having a bore extending the bore, the front end of which is closed and forms a bullet trap,
  • a cover is provided which surrounds the lateral openings of the muzzle fire damper to the gas outlet radially outside, and
  • a nozzle bore is provided, which connects the interior of the core bore with the outside (preamble of claim 1).
While in most cases when using a Manöverpatronengeräts the muzzle fire damper must first be unscrewed and therefore can be lost (eg the G3), the generic maneuver cartridge device is pushed onto the muzzle fire damper and attached to this (see DE 197 29 565 C2). As a fastening device of the known Manöverpatronengeräts a transverse pin is provided which the muzzle fire damper engages behind. This cross pin is in the field of vision of the shooter, so that this can always convince himself of the proper fit of the maneuver cartridge device. However, it has been found that this holder is unsafe in the carelessness of the shooter or at night. Namely, if the holder does not fully engage, it may happen that the maneuver cartridge device flies off in a shot. This danger is particularly great when accidentally a shot or even a burst of live ammunition is delivered, which is to be collected by the maneuver cartridge device.
In addition, there are rifles in which the outer diameter of the muzzle flash damper does not or only slightly exceeds that of the barrel; there the familiar maneuver cartridge device could not be mounted.
Incidentally, it is always assumed here of the horizontal weapon in firing position when expressions such as "top" are used, with "front" points in the weft direction.
Based on the above problem situation, the invention has the object of developing the known maneuver cartridge device to the effect that a flying away of the carelessly attached Manöverpatronengerätes is prevented.
This object is achieved in that the generic maneuver cartridge device
  • the nozzle bore sits centrally in a throat of the soul bore,
  • the part of the core bore remote from the barrel is connected to the outside via at least one generously dimensioned radial bore, and
  • the tube has an external thread which engages in an internal thread in the bore of the muzzle flash damper, and
  • the tube (19) is inserted at the mouth end in a Hemmblock (5), which extends the core bore (25) by a central continuation (9) (claim 1).

If the thread tightened, then the two cone seats are pressed together sealingly; with appropriate design these interlocking conical seats are self-locking, so that they can not solve by themselves. But if the thread is only insufficiently tightened, gas escapes through the gap between the loose butting cone seats. However, the thread still prevents the maneuver cartridge device from coming off the muzzle fire damper. The powder gases now no longer escape alone through the nozzle bore, but for the most part through the gap between the loosely stacked cone seats. Therefore, the rifle does not load anymore. This shows the shooter that something is wrong. The shooter is now prompted to inspect the maneuver cartridge and he will quickly discover by turning the tube that his thread is not tight enough.

More difficult is the situation with an accidentally delivered, sharp shot, if at the same time the thread is not fully tightened. Although a modern rifle cartridge (eg.223) has less than half the muzzle energy of a previous rifle cartridge (eg 30-06), the impact might still be enough to deform and thus loosen the thread. The bottleneck in which the nozzle bore is located, but does not stop the projectile, but only slows it down. The duration of the impact of the projectile against the maneuver cartridge device is thus extended. Contrary to expectations, the thread withstands this prolonged impact, even if it does should not be sufficiently tightened and therefore not the full thread length comes to fruition.

The first floor, which is caught by the maneuver cartridge device, but firmly presses the two parts of the thread together, whereby possible tolerances are lifted. Now the threaded connection is also able to withstand the load of additional floors.

In this case, the muzzle fire damper acts as an attenuator due to its resilience, so that the thread with which this muzzle fire damper is mounted on the barrel of the rifle, takes no damage whatsoever. By catching a sharp shot, only the maneuver cartridge device will be damaged, perhaps even the muzzle flash damper, but not the rifle itself. This also applies to a short burst of fire.

Thus, the maneuver cartridge device according to the invention succeeds in being mounted on any adapted muzzle fire damper, regardless of how it is now attached to the rifle. At the same time, the threaded connection between the muzzle fire damper and the maneuver cartridge device ensures that it can not fly away even if it is only inadequately fastened.

A development of the maneuver cartridge device is that the bottleneck sits outside the muzzle flash damper (claim 2). Thus, damage to the muzzle flash damper is avoided if the tube should expand as a result of the impact of a projectile on the bottleneck with the nozzle bore. Thus, even in a maneuver accident, the damage to the weapon is kept low.

Characterized in that the pipe is inserted into the mouth side in a Hemmblock that extends the core bore, the tube and the Hemmblock be optimized depending on the different conditions; such as a particularly tough material for the tube and a particularly hard for the Hemmblock.

Preferably, the core bore has rear caliber at least, but can continue to narrow forward (claim 4). Thus, at least initially, the projectile does not drag uncontrollably along the wall of the bore of the soul, but deforms only at the constriction, in a controlled manner. In addition, it is prevented that after passing through the radial bore it is added by abrasion. Thus, the controlled collection of several floors is possible.

So wird eine Gaskammer zwischen den Gasaustrittsöffnungen des Mündungsfeuerdämpfers und der Verlängerung des Hemmblocks geschaffenAccording to a further embodiment of the invention, the Manöverpatronengerät is further developed in that the Hemmblock is extended to the rear and sealing at least rests on the back of the muzzle fire damper, and that in this extension radial relief openings are provided which are in communication with the gas outlet openings (claim 5) , Thus, a gas chamber between the gas outlet openings of the muzzle flash damper and the extension of the Hemmblocks is created

Preferably, the at least one radial bore opens under the extension of the Hemmblocks and communicates with radial openings in this, in particular the radial relief openings in combination (claim 6). These radial relief openings do not necessarily need to open to the outside, but preferably open into the gas outlet openings of the muzzle flash damper, in which also enters the gas stream, which flows through the conical seat when incorrectly screwed Manöverpatronengerät. The purpose of this measure is the most frequent diversion of the Gas stream, to prevent the escape of solid particles from the maneuver cartridge with certainty. In the continuation, further radial relief openings lead through the extension of the Hemmblocks outward again.

Preferably, the radial openings, especially the radial relief openings of the extension of the Hemmblocks surrounded by a radially outer Umlenkhülse, which is only substantially open to the front (claim 7). Thus, the escape of the gases of the maneuver cartridge takes place forward, as well as a sharp cartridge. But there is a further deflection and thus also sufficient security in insufficient unscrewed maneuver cartridge device or when firing a sharp cartridge.

Overall, the maneuver cartridge device according to the invention forms, together with the muzzle flash damper according to the invention, a simple device with a small dimension. It does not protrude beyond the muzzle fire damper, has a small outer diameter and remains with insufficient mounting on the muzzle fire damper, wherein a gas leak occurs elsewhere and reloading the rifle is omitted. At the same time, the firing of sharp cartridges is possible with the maneuver cartridge device mounted, without the rifle being damaged and without particles of the projectile escaping to the outside.
The object of the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying schematic drawing in an example, which is not intended to be limiting in any way. In the drawing shows:

The construction of muzzle fire damper 35 and maneuver cartridge device 3 is shown in FIG.

The orifice fire damper 35 has a continuous, over-caliber bore 51 which extends from the mouth of the barrel 47 over a short, cylindrical portion which merges into an inner cone 39, widening therefrom and extending substantially cylindrical to the reject opening. Before the Committee opening an inner fine thread is arranged, which is the Mother part of a threaded connection 41 forms. Between the inner cone 39 and the inner thread 41 elongated, outwardly expanding gas outlet openings 37 are arranged, which connects the bore 51 with the region radially outside of the muzzle fire damper 35. These gas outlet openings 37 are conventional. The outer surface of the muzzle flash is cylindrical.

In the normal, sharp shot, when the maneuver cartridge apparatus 3 is not mounted on the muzzle fire damper 35, a part of the launcher gases is caused to leak to the gas outlet openings 37 while the projectile is flying through the bore 51. Thus, these gases do not interfere with the flight of the projectile, the glare from the muzzle flash is diminished, and the firing noise is less accurately localized.

The maneuver cartridge device 3 consists of three parts: the central tube 19, a Hemmblock 5 and an outer sleeve 15th

The tube 19 fits into the bore 51 of the muzzle fire damper 35 and has at the rear end to an outer cone 23 which fits exactly to the inner cone 39 of the muzzle fire damper 35 and together with this one dense, the independent relative rotation between the pipe 19 and muzzle fire damper 35 preventing conical or Conical seat forms.

The tube 19 also has two external threads, which produce a threaded connection 11 with the hem block 5 and the threaded connection 41 with the muzzle fire damper 35. These external threads are fine threads.

The tube 19 is screwed into an internal thread blind bore in Hemmblock 5 until the front end face of the tube 19 is firmly seated on the bottom of the blind bore. Then, the threaded connection 11 is secured by a transverse spring pin 21. Tube 19 and Hemmblock 5 now form a unit.

The tube 19 is now screwed into the muzzle-fire damper until the conical seat between the inner cone 39 and the outer cone 23 of the muzzle-fire damper 35 and the tube 19 is made. Now sits the external thread of the threaded connection 41 fully in the internal thread.

The tube 19 is penetrated by a central core bore 25 which has more than caliber diameter and is substantially cylindrical, except for a constriction 27, which sits just before the front end of the muzzle fire damper 35 and before the external thread of the threaded connection 41 and locally the soul bore to narrowed to a nozzle bore 29. Here, the constriction 27 forms a narrow transverse web, while the diameter of the nozzle bore 29 regulates the backflow of the combustion gases in the barrel 47, which is necessary for the reloading of the rifle 1 when using maneuver cartridges.

Between the constriction 27 and the external thread of the threaded connection 11, two opposing, large radial bores 31 are provided, which pass through the wall of the tube 19. All combustion gases entering the core bore 25 leave them through the radial bores 31.

In the front part of the Hemmblocks 5, the core bore 25 is continued in a central core bore 9 of the same diameter, which forms a blind hole.

Dieser Expansionsraum verbindet die Radialbohrungen 31 mit den Gasaustrittsöffnungen 37 des Mündungsfeuerdämpfers 35.The Hemmblock 5 continues to the rear in one piece by a tubular extension 7, whose substantially cylindrical inner diameter corresponds approximately to the outer diameter of the front part of the Hemmblocks. This inner diameter is seated substantially sealingly on the center and the rear of the cylindrical outer surface of the muzzle flash damper 35. Between this sealing support and the front part of the extension 7 an expansion space 33 is formed in this, which is formed by a widening of the inner diameter of the extension 7. This expansion space connects the radial bores 31 with the gas outlet openings 37 of the muzzle fire damper 35.

The rear part of the extension 7, which is sealingly seated on the outer surface of the muzzle flash damper 35, in turn has a ring of gas outlet openings 13 which connect the gas outlet openings 37 radially with the outside of the extension 7. In this way, the combustion gases flow through the gas outlet openings 37 and then the gas outlet openings 17 both when the cartridge unit 3 is properly attached and when the cartridge unit 3 has not been sufficiently screwed tight when passing through the loose cone seat 23, 39.

The sleeve 15 is sealingly secured to the rear of the outside of the extension 7, such as by shrinking or welding. This sleeve 15 has a stepped inner bore whose smaller diameter rear portion is seated on the outer surface of the extension 7, while the larger diameter front portion is spaced from the outer surface of the extension 7. This front part covers by far the Gas outlet openings 13, has at its front end a distance from the outer surface of the extension 7 and thereby forms the annular gap 17. This annular gap is the forward facing gas outlet opening of the maneuver cartridge device 3rd

The inner surface of the sleeve 15 is tapered outwardly toward the annular gap 17, while the outer surface of the extension 7 widens conically there. As a result, the gases conical forward and outward, so that excessive contamination of the free outer surface of the Manöverpatronengerätes 3 is prevented.

In Fig. 3, the maneuver cartridge 3 just described is shown after three sharp cartridges are fired.

As can be seen, the constriction 27 with the nozzle opening 29 has been practically sheared off by a projectile 45, so that instead a free passage 43 has been created. The core holes 9, 25 were not or only slightly widened. In the front core bore 9, which represents a blind hole in the block, sitting three such bullets 45, which were collected. These floors are shown only very schematically; in fact, they form a single, compressed block.

The materials for hem block 5, tube 19 and sleeve 15 are selected to best suit the particular purpose. Here, the tube 19 is tough, but stretchable, because of the relatively low resistance that the constriction 27 opposes a projectile 45, and because of the at least large bore bore 25, the tube 19 is largely loaded on train, if accidentally a sharp cartridge is fired. The Hemmblock 5, however, is tough and hard, so that he can not be shot through. The material of the sleeve 15, however, again corresponds substantially to that of the tube 19th
