Description

The present invention relates to a tight-fitting polypropylene rectangular rectangular parallelepiped packaging packaging for a pasty product capable of being brought into an at least semi-liquid state, in particular cheese, this package being composed of two thin sheets, that is to say a first sheet cut into a suitable contour and shaped as a rectangular shell intended to receive the product and so as to have a gripping wedge for the opening of the package, and a second sheet cut at least to the dimensions of the bottom of the the shell and intended to be laid flat on the product and on which the sides of the shell are folded, folded and heat-sealed leaving free the gripping corner, and two tear strips arranged and fixed on the first sheet so that they are driven when pulling on the grip.

A package of this type is known from the patent FR 2,499,025 . In this package, the first sheet is provided with two parallel tear strips and the gripping wedge is formed by 45 ° folding two halves of one side of the cut sheet. This folding has the effect of bringing the ends of the two tear strips into a heat-welded zone relatively far from the end of the gripping wedge. When pulling on this gripping corner, there is a risk of tearing the gripping wedge before pulling on the tear strips and consequently failing in the opening of the package.

Un tel emballage réalisé en polypropylène (PP) est très difficile à déchirer en raison de ce pli, raison pour laquelle cet emballage est réalisé en polypropylène orienté (OPP).In a package derived from the previous one, in which the corner is also formed by two 45 ° folds, the parallel strips of tearing are closer to the center of the package and have an enlargement towards this center so that they are located very close to the end of the wedge when forming this corner. On the other hand, a portion of the sides of the 45 ° folded corner is welded to the second sheet forming a fold providing increased tear resistance. Such packaging made of polypropylene (PP) is very difficult to tear because of this fold, which is why this packaging is made of oriented polypropylene (OPP).

From the patent FR 2,362,765 In addition, a rectangular parallelepiped packaging package is known which is provided with a tuning fork-shaped tear tape whose very short handle forms a gripping tab for tearing. Entering this short tab is not easy.

FR 2 198 469 discloses a package according to the preamble of claim 1.

L'invention a pour but de faciliter l'ouverture d'un emballage de conditionnement réalisé en polypropylène (PP ou OPP).The invention aims to facilitate the opening of a packaging packaging made of polypropylene (PP or OPP).

The packaging according to the invention is characterized in that the gripping wedge is formed of a triangular projection formed on one of the sides of the first octagonal cut sheet and in that the tear strips form a pointed U of which the tip is located in said triangular projection.

Thus, when grasping the gripping corner, the two tear strips are also grasped and the package can be opened without encountering the resistance of a fold.

Advantageously, the side of the first sheet provided with the gripping wedge has two tearing primers. These tearing primers advantageously consist of notches located in the extension of the sides of the gripping wedge.

The tear strip is advantageously located inside the shell, so that it is hidden, and extends along the sides of the bottom of the shell so as to obtain an integral opening.

For the formation of the shell and the packaging of the product, it is possible to use the method and the installation described in the patent CH 690 996 ( EP 0803 439 ) with the necessary adaptations.

The sides of the first sheet can be folded on the second sheet in two ways: the sides of the shell located on either side of the tear strips can be folded last so as to be folded on the other two sides or first to be under the other two sides.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the invention.
  • The figure 1 represents the first sheet cut before folding.
  • The figure 2 is the first shell-shaped sheet ready to receive the product to be packaged.
  • The figure 3 represents the finished package according to a first mode of folding.
  • The figure 4 represents the finished package according to a second folding mode.

The figure 1 is a sheet 1 of polypropylene (PP) cut in the form of an octagon almost regular whose one side has in its middle a triangular projection whose sides are extended by two notches 3 and 4 inside the surface octagonal, these cuts forming tear primers. Two strips of tear 5 and 6 in PET, previously cut, are fixed by heat sealing on the leaf 1 so that the bent portions 5a and 6a of these strips meet on the triangular projection 2. The two tear strips 5 and 6 thus form a pointed U whose point coincides approximately with the triangular seam 2. Instead of two strips 5 and 6, one could of course use a single U-shaped strip.

By means of a chuck and pushers, as described for example in the patent CH 690 996 , sheet 1 is given the rectangular parallelepipedal shape shown in FIG. figure 2 . The main fold lines are represented in fine lines at the figure 1 . These fold lines form the lateral faces A, B, C and D of the shell. To form the vertical edges of the shell, the parts of the sheet 1 located between the faces A, B, C and D along the fold lines 7 in phantom which are perpendicular to the corresponding sides of the octagon. The folding according to 7 and the folding against the faces A and C form the folded portions E, F, G, H shown in FIG. figure 2 . This shell shaping is performed by stamping in a heating stamping duct to maintain the folds. The folded and superimposed parts are heat sealed.

The shell, as represented in figure 2 then receives the product to be packaged, duly dosed. The shell is thus filled only about 2/3 of its height.

The product is then placed on a sheet 8 of PP of rectangular or square shape, depending on the folding mode used.

According to the first folding mode shown in figure 3 the second sheet 8 is rectangular. Alongside the tear strips 5 and 6, its width is equal to that of the bottom of the shell, its length being greater than the length of the sides of the bottom so as to go up on the sides A and C, this to improve the seal . After arranging the sheet 8, the part of the faces B and D situated above the sheet 8 is first folded onto the sheet 8, then the other two faces A and C are folded down. The folded parts I and J are thus above the folded portions K and L. During this folding, the dimension of the triangular projection 2 is such that its sides are located in the extension of the 45 ° sides of the folded portions I and J.

Ce pliage nécessite toutefois un pliage supplémentaire à 45° de la partie supérieure des rabats F et H pour dégager le passage des bandes de déchirement 5 et 6.However, it is possible to fold and fold parts I and J and then parts K and L first. This gives the appearance shown in FIG. figure 4 . This folding however requires an additional folding at 45 ° of the upper part of the flaps F and H to clear the passage of the tear strips 5 and 6.

Folding is done with heating tools to maintain the folds. The shell and the cover sheet 8 are then heat-sealed by means of a heating press. Pressing pressers ensure that the two flaps of the last fold are flat to prevent them from unfolding under the heat of the cheese, due to the memory of the polypropylene film.

During this sealing, at least the end of the triangular projection 2 is left free so as to form a gripping wedge for the opening of the package.

The film used can be both OPP and PP.
