Abstract

A suspension metal member (41) provided at a side plate of an air conditioner comprises a first portion (42), a second portion (43), and a third portion (3). The first portion (42) is extended inside a housing. The second portion (43) is engaged with a lower end edge of a side plate of the housing. This is achieved when the first portion is inserted through an opening formed in the housing and then turned to a position where a face of the first portion, which face is opposite an inner face of a side plate of the housing, is in contact with the inner face. The third portion (45) through which a suspension bolt is passed is extended outside the housing substantially parallel to a top plate (31). This is obtained when the first portion is inserted through the opening formed in the housing and then turned to the position where the face of the first position, which face is opposite the inner face of the side plate of the housing, is in contact with inner face.
