This can be produced for example in a two-component injection molding process. Alternatively, the bellows (7a) made of a soft elastomeric component may be glued or welded to the extension (15a). Claims (16)
- Front-loading washing machine, comprising a housing having a cylindrical suds container suspended therein in an oscillatory manner, in which a drum, which is also cylindrical, is rotatably mounted, the front panels (2, 3) of the drum and of the suds container and the housing front (1) being provided with substantially circular feed openings with a common axis (6), comprising an elastomeric bellows (7, 7a) which connects the suds container panel (2) and the housing front (1) in the edge region of the feed openings in a liquid-tight manner and has a fold (14) oriented towards the common axis (6), and comprising a projection (15, 15a) which is elastomeric at least in part and projects into the gap between the fold (14) and the edge (4) of the feed opening of the drum, the edge (4), the upper end (16) of the projection (15, 15a) and part of the fold (14) being at least approximately aligned in the axial direction,
characterised in that
at least one retaining web (5), which extends solely in the direction of the common axis (6), is arranged on the suds container panel (2) in the edge region of the feed opening thereof, and in that the projection (15, 15a) has a fixing member (17, 26) which can be displaced on the retaining web (5) in the direction of the common axis (6) to align the projection (15, 15a) at a predetermined distance (S) from the edge (4) of the feed opening of the drum and which can be fixed to the retaining web (5). - Front-loading washing machine according to claim 1,
characterised in that
the retaining web (5) is annular. - Front-loading washing machine according to at least one of claims 1 or 2,
characterised in that
the fixing member is formed as a slot-shaped recess (26). - Front-loading washing machine according to at least one of claims 1 or 2,
characterised in that
the fixing member is formed as a support ring (17) which when assembled is in contact at least in part with the retaining web(s) (5). - Front-loading washing machine according to claim 2 and either claim 3 or claim 4,
characterised in that
the retaining web (5) and the fixing member (17, 26) have interlocking threads (21). - Front-loading washing machine according to at least one of claims 4 or 5,
characterised in that
the support ring (17) is-angled, and in that a leg (19) directed perpendicular to the retaining web (5) supports a cross-sectionally T-shaped portion (20) of the projection (15). - Front-loading washing machine according to claim 6,
characterised in that
the projection (15) consists of an angled plastics material core (27) and an elastomeric coating (28). - Front-loading washing machine according to at least one of claims 1 to 7,
characterised in that
the elastomeric part of the projection (15) is integrally formed on the bellows (7). - Front-loading washing machine according to at least one of claims 1 to 7,
characterised in that
the projection (15) is formed as a separate component from the bellows (7). - Front-loading washing machine according to claim 9,
characterised in that
the elastomeric part (20, 27) of the projection (15) exhibits greater hardness than the bellows (7). - Front-loading washing machine according to at least one of claims 1 to 6,
characterised in that
the projection (15a), having an edge (9a) angled towards the suds container, consists of a rigid plastics material or a rigid elastomeric component, on which the bellows (7a), which consists of a flexible elastomeric component, is integrally formed, the edge (9a) is clamped to the retaining web (5) of the suds container by a clamping ring (10). - Front-loading washing machine according to claim 11,
characterised in that
the angled edge (9a) of the projection (15a) and the retaining web (5) of the suds container have an interlocking undulating shape (21 a). - Front-loading washing machine according to claim 11,
characterised in that
the angled edge (9a) of the projection (15a) and the retaining web (5) of the suds container have an interlocking toothed shape (22a). - Front-loading washing machine according to claim 11,
characterised in that
the angled edge (9a) of the projection (15a) and the retaining web (5) of the suds container have an interlocking serrated shape (22b). - Method of producing a front-loading washing machine according to at least one of claims 1 to 14,
characterised in that
after the fixing member (17, 26) is placed on the retaining web (5), the projection (15, 15a) is aligned at a predetermined distance (s) from the edge (4) of the feed opening of the drum. - Method of producing a front-loading washing machine according to claim 15,
characterised in that
after the projection (15, 15a) is aligned, the fixing element (17, 26) is fixed to the retaining web (5).
