Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Drucker mit einer Papiertransportwalze und einem Gehäuse mit einer Blende mit einem Papieraustrittsschlitz. Derartige Drucker werden beispielsweise in Kraftfahrzeugen benutzt, um in Tachographen gespeicherte Werte in Papierform ausgeben zu können. Gerade in Nutzfahrzeugen ist es wegen der darin auftretenden Umweltbedingungen erforderlich, eine Vorrichtung gegen das Eindringen von Staub und Spritzwasser vorzusehen. Aus dem Stand der Technik ist es bekannt, den Drucker vollständig bzw. beim Einbau des Druckers in ein Armaturenbrett eine entsprechende Blende mit einer Schutzkappe vollständig abzudecken. Zum Ausdruck von Werten muss diese Kappe entweder von Hand abgenommen werden oder durch einen aufwendigen Mechanismus weg bewegt werden.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine einfach aufgebaute Vorrichtung anzugeben, mit der ein Eindringen von Staub und Spritzwasser verhindert werden kann und die keine zusätzlichen Tätigkeiten des Benutzers des Druckers erfordern. Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, dass die Vorrichtung einen Keil aufweist, der in einer ersten Position den Papieraustrittsschlitz bei Nichtgebrauch des Druckers verschließt und in einer zweiten Position beim Gebrauch des Druckers den Papieraustrittsschlitz derart öffnet, dass Papier den Papieraustrittsschlitz passieren kann und dass ein Antrieb für die Bewegung des Verschlusskeils von der ersten in die zweite Position und zurück vorhanden ist.The object of the invention is to provide a simply constructed device, with the penetration of dust and spray can be prevented and do not require additional activities of the user of the printer.
