- the main deviation from the version in fig 1 is that the stay arm 3' with its mounting bracket 4' and the safety bracket 5' have been reversed, such that the mounting bracket 4' and the safety bracket 5' are secured to surfaces of the main frame part 2' and wing part 1', respectively, located in a common plane parallel to the glazing layer of the wing part 1'. Due to this geometrical difference the legs 6' and 7' of the safety bracket 5' are also parallel to, but separated from each other.
- the version illustrated in fig. 2 is similar to the version shown in fig. 1.
- the narrowed end section 14 which is the only part of the stay arm 3 that can pass through the narrowed opening 9 of the cut-out 8 in the safety member 5, is disposed adjacent to the pivotal connection of the stay arm 3 with the projecting bearing member 13, it will be appreciated that only with the narrowed section 14 positioned in the enlargement 10 of the safety bracket 5, i.e. with the wing part 1 in a position very near to its closed position with respect to the main frame part 2, may the stay arm 3 be released from its accommodation within the enlargement 10 of the cut-out 8 in the safety bracket 5 to allow disengagement of the stay arm 3 from the safety bracket 5 by turning the stay arm 3 to the upright substantially vertical position shown in fig. 3, in which the stay arm 3 may be retained in a holder member 17 secured to the main frame part 2 or the wing part 1 according to the actual version.
- the safety device provides an active locking of the stay arm 103 in its operative first position by means of a locking arm 117, which in a locking position as shown in fig. 5 overlaps the narrowed section 114 of the stay arm 103 on both sides and thereby prevent passage of the narrowed section 114 through the narrowed opening 109 of the safety bracket 108.
- the locking arm 117 is pivotally connected by means of a pivot pin 118 with the narrowed section 114 of the stay arm at a separation from the pivotal connection of the stay arm 103 with the mounting bracket 104, that will allow pivotal movement of the locking arm 117 away from its locking position, but as shown in fig. 6 only after a 90° turning of the stay arm 103 in a direction opposite to the direction of the turning of the stay arm required for disengagement from the safety bracket 105.
- the locking arm 117 is a short generally cylindrical member matching the generally circular cross-section of the stay arm 103.
- a slit 119 is formed through the length of the locking arm 117.
- the locking arm 117 is intersected by the slit 119, whereas over the remaining length of the locking arm 117 the slit 119 may extend to a depth of about 60 to 70 % of the diameter of the locking arm.
- the narrowed section 114 of the stay arm 103 may be formed in its upper side with a depression 120.
- the engagement means for locking of the locking arm 117 in the first operative position of the stay arm 103 comprise, in the illustrated embodiment, substantially circular mating end faces 121 and 122 of the locking arm 117, on one hand, and the bifurcated arms 115 of projecting bearing member 113, on the other hand, said end faces having a common centre at the pivot axis 116 for the pivotal connection of between the stay arm 103 and the bearing member 113. It will be appreciated, however, that other forms of engagement means could easily be foreseen by a skilled person.
- the turning of the stay arm 104 from the position shown in fig. 5 and 7 to the position shown in fig. 8, which is required for release of the locking arm will not be possible in the first operative position of the stay arm, in which either a part of the stay arm itself with the narrowed section 114 overlapped by the locking arm 117 or the projecting bearing member 113 of the mounting bracket 104 will be positioned in the enlargement 110 of the cut-out 108 in the safety bracket 105, and no passage of the locking arm 117 overlapping the narrowed section 114 through the narrowed opening 109 of the cut-out 108 will be possible.
- the bifurcated arms 115 of the projecting bearing member 113 may be formed at its lower side with a substantially circular depression 123 having its centre at the pivot axis for the pivot pin 118.

Claims (7)
- Dispositif de sécurité anti-effraction pour portes et fenêtres, comprenant un bras de maintien (103) et un support de sécurité (105) adapté pour montage sur l'un et l'autre d'une portion d'aile ouvrable (101) et d'une portion de cadre stationnaire (102) respectivement de la porte ou de la fenêtre, le support de sécurité (105) étant pourvu d'une coupure à queue-d'aronde (108) présentant une ouverture resserrée (109) et un élargissement (110) pour loger le bras de maintien (103) susceptible de pouvoir se déplacer longitudinalement dans l'élargissement (110) pour permettre l'ouverture de ladite portion d'aile (101) dans une zone de ventilation limitée par un élément d'arrêt (111) pourvu à l'un bout du bras de maintien (103), le bras de maintien (103) présentant près de son autre bout une section resserrée (114) permettant le passage de ladite section (114) à travers l'ouverture resserrée (109) de la coupure (108) dans le support de sécurité (105) et étant relié à pivotement (116) à l'autre bout avec un élément de palier faisant saillie (113) d'un support de montage (104) adapté à fixer à l'une des portions (101, 102) de l'aile et du cadre pour permettre un mouvement à pivotement du bras de maintien (103) depuis une première position, dans laquelle il fait saillie depuis le support de montage (104) et essentiellement aligné à celui-ci à travers l'élargissement (110) de la coupure (108) dans le support de sécurité (105) et une deuxième position essentiellement perpendiculaire à la première position, par passage de ladite section resserrée (114) du bras de maintien (103) à travers l'ouverture resserrée (109) -de la coupure (108) dans le support de sécurité (105), caractérisé en ce qu'un bras de fermeture (117) est relié à pivotement (118) à l'un bout avec la section resserrée (114) du bras de maintien (103) à une séparation de la liaison à pivotement (116) du bras de maintien (103) avec le support de montage (104) pour permettre un mouvement à pivotement du bras de fermeture (117) depuis une position de fermeture dans laquelle il recouvre ladite section resserrée (114) pour empêcher le passage de celle-ci à travers l'ouverture resserrée (109) de la coupure (108) dans le support de sécurité (105) dans une position inopérable, dans laquelle il est déplacé de la section resserrée (114) pour permettre ledit passage, le bras de fermeture (117) étant pourvu de moyen d'engagement (121) pour engagement avec l'élément de palier faisant saillie (113) du support de montage (104) pour empêcher ledit mouvement à pivotement du bras de fermeture (117) dans ladite première position du bras de maintien (103).
- Dispositif de sécurité selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ledit moyen d'engagement du bras de fermeture (117) comprend une face terminale (121) épousant une face d'engagement (122) pourvue par un bord terminal dudit élément de palier faisant saillie (113) du support de montage (104).
- Dispositif de sécurité selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que ladite face terminale (121) du bras de fermeture (117) et ladite face d'engagement (122) dudit élément de palier faisant saillie (113) sont essentiellement circulaires avec un centre commun à l'axe de pivotement (116) pour la liaison à pivotement entre le bras de maintien (103) et ledit élément de palier (113).
- Dispositif de sécurité selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce qu'à l'un côté de celui-ci, ledit élément de palier faisant saillie (113) est pourvu d'une dépression essentiellement circulaire (123) ayant son centre à l'axe de pivotement (118) pour la liaison à pivotement entre le bras de fermeture (117) et le bras de maintien (103),
- Dispositif de sécurité selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que le support de montage (4) pour le bras de maintien (3) et le support de sécurité (5) sont adaptés à liaison avec respectivement la portion d'aile ouvrable (1) et la portion de cadre (2) de la porte ou fenêtre, le support de sécurité (5) comprenant un élément de garniture angulaire avec un premier et deuxième pied (6, 7) essentiellement perpendiculaire l'un à l'autre.
- Dispositif de sécurité selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que le support de montage (4') pour le bras de maintien (3') et le support de sécurité (5') sont adaptés à liaison avec respectivement la portion de cadre (2') et la portion d'aile ouvrable (1') de la porte ou fenêtre, le support de sécurité (5') comprenant des pieds essentiellement parallèles (6', 7').
- Dispositif de sécurité selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé en ce qu'un élément de support (17) est pourvu pour fixer à ladite même portion d'aile et de cadre (1, 2) que le support de montage (4) pour retenir ledit bras de maintien (3) dans ladite deuxième position pour permettre l'ouverture de la portion d'aile (1) au-delà de ladite zone de ventilation limitée.
