Definitions
- the invention relates to a method or a Apparatus for producing a screen printing stencil for a sieve, in particular a round or flat sieve, wherein a mask is applied to a carrier layer. Furthermore, the invention relates to a sieve, in particular a Round or flat screen, with a screen printing stencil.
- Such methods and corresponding devices are from the prior art for the production of Screen printing stencils known.
- the are to call direct and indirect methods.
- the direct method is called carrier layer one Photosensitive layer on the stretched screen fabric applied.
- This layer is then filled with a high contrast, photographic positive or negative, usually made of wax or ink, the desired Screen stencil form covered and then exposed and developed, becoming one Polymerization comes. After removing the mask either the exposed or the unexposed areas the photosensitive layer by washing the screen rinsed out, so that in the result the desired Silkscreen stencil on the surface of the cocked Screen fabric remains.
- the present invention the object of a To provide a method or a device, which or which makes it possible, a Screen printing stencil for a sieve, in particular a round or Flat sieve, fast and with as little as possible To produce effort.
- the present invention is also the task of a corresponding sieve with to provide a screen printing stencil.
- the method according to the invention thus becomes the composition the carrier layer and the composition of the ink so chosen by chemical reaction alone Compositions together a solid overall layer that does not arise after washing out Solidified sections of the carrier layer already the presenting finished silk screen template. It is not Polymerization more required. It is not anymore mandatory, provided with the mask Carrier layer in a separate process step with To irradiate UV light or the like.
- the mask is no longer after the Exposure process in a tedious way from the Carrier layer must be removed, but part the screen printing stencil has become.
- a mask ink which has the advantage that they are very thin can be applied, you get in the result how in front of a screenprint stencil with a low Total thickness.
- the thickness of the Carrier layer smaller than 10 microns and the thickness of Ink layer greater than 30 microns.
- the ink is computer-based from several nozzles on the sprayed on corresponding sections of the carrier layer becomes.
- the computer-aided spraying allows in the Today available drive technology for this purpose required printheads have the highest possible flexibility, because of the computer-aided spraying any in the computer system stored form of the mask selected and can be sprayed on. It is particularly advantageous also that with the inventive method, the mask in a single operation on the carrier layer can be applied.
- the ink After spraying the ink immediately sets the chemical reaction between the ink and the Carrier layer, i. the two single layers connect to a solid overall layer, the automatically hardens and thus another treatment makes superfluous. It may nevertheless be provided that for example, to accelerate the chemical Reaction, which is also a polymerization can act the whole layer with more energy Radiation, in particular with UV light, is irradiated.
- the Carrier layer before using ink in sections already covered on the sieve, in particular one Round or flat screen, is applied. In this way is the sieve already after rinsing the entire layer already ready for use.
- the Carrier layer still while applying the ink is on a separate slide and only after Completion of the screen stencil this under light pressure is applied to the mesh.
- the total thickness of a screen stencil as small as possible should fail, to later an optimal print result to obtain, and according to the invention in addition to the carrier layer also another layer, namely the layer of ink, is absolutely necessary, it is beneficial if the Carrier layer as thin as possible. It must However, be aware that the ink only can be applied optimally to the carrier layer, if this has a smooth surface.
- the thickness and the composition of the carrier layer must be so be chosen that, especially if the Carrier layer before applying the ink already on the Screen is applied, not the structure of the screen pushes through the carrier layer.
- the latter could namely an uneven distribution of the ink lead the carrier layer, which in turn ultimately the Negatively affect the quality of the screenprint template can.
- a known from the prior art device for Production of a screen printing stencil for a sieve, in particular a round or flat screen, with a Device for applying a mask to a Carrier layer is according to the invention, in particular for Realization of the invention described above Process further developed in that the mask at least substantially consists of ink.
- inventive device ensures the Realization of in terms of the invention Method described advantages.
- the means for applying the Mask in the form of ink a computerized control and in particular at least one printhead with several Having nozzles for spraying the ink.
- Device according to the invention can be provided that they have a separate receptacle for a sieve, in particular a Round or flat screen, has.
- a separate receptacle for a sieve in particular a Round or flat screen
- the Screen printing template produced directly on the screen, in the first applied to the screen a carrier layer and then on the means for applying a mask of ink is applied.
- Fig. 1 shows a sieve 3 comprising a sieve cloth 1 and a multi-part template 2. Over the sieve 3, it acts This is a flat screen, running during the Screen printing a sharp-edged rubber squeegee, the pushes the paint over the entire screen surface. To the permeable areas of the screen may be the ink on the underlying surface to be printed, pass. At the covered by the template 2 No color passes through the screen cloth 1.
- Fig. 2 shows an embodiment of a inventive template 2 in cross section during their production.
- a Carrier layer 5 has been applied, which in turn means a device for applying a mask 4, the Component of a device for producing a Silkscreen 2 is in sections with ink has been coated.
- the mask 4 connects Ink automatically with the carrier layer 5 to a solid Overall layer that forms the finished template 2.
- a Polymerization as in the prior art is not required.
