Abstract

The invention relates to a method of managing data from a piece of telecommunication equipment which is equipped with a screen and a SIM memory card connector. The inventive method comprises a step whereby data is saved in the storage registers of a standard SIM card and a step in which data is exchanged between the aforementioned telecommunication equipment and the SIM card using a standard protocol. The invention is characterised in that the step involving authentication of the subscriber and connection to the telecommunication network is avoided and in that the SIM Toolkit application in the SIM card is executed, thereby enabling the data to be managed.

Description

PROCESS MANAGEMENT INFORMATION STORED ON A SMART CARD READABLE MOBILE.

The present invention relates to the field of information management, that is to say the acquisition of such information by a computer system and the return of this information to the user.

The prior art already known from U.S. Patent US 6,026,007 (Jigour Robin et al), a digital memory device high capacity insertable and removable. Each device in a family of removable digital media devices can be inserted into a host to allow the host to store data or retrieve data. This invention of the prior art provides a solution for the storage of personal data, in the medical occurrence, on a central system viewable from a computer connected to said central system.

This solution however is not effective if you need this information in a place not equipped computer, for example in the street. The present invention intends to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art by storing the data in a format readable by a large number of terminals. The data are thus stored on a SIM chip can be read by a mobile phone. This solution solves the problem of rapid access to information because the mobile phone is a standardized and widely used product.

This embodiment is contrary to the teaching of the art, which provides that the SIM card is for exchanges between the cell phone, the subscriber card and the phone operator, as part of the protocol GSM03 -48 for example. Claims
