The apparatus according to Claim 5 or one of the further Claims, characterized in that via the machine control unit (31) an additional control program for the timing and duration of opening the nozzle openings (25, 26) can be called up, specifically by regulating the valves (29) which are connected to the machine control unit (31) and which are assigned to each nozzle opening (25, 26) or group of nozzle openings (25, 26).
  8. The apparatus according to Claim 1 or one of the further Claims, characterized by the following features:
    a) the pressure control valve (37) can be regulated by compressed air via a control air line (40),
    b) the control air line (40) is connected to a compressed air control unit (38),
    c) the compressed air control unit (38) can be regulated by the machine control unit (31) by means of a signal line (41).
  9. The apparatus according to Claim 1 or one of the further Claims, characterized by the following features:
    a) a glue nozzle (24) having a plurality of nozzle openings (25, 26) is assigned a common pressure control valve (37),
    b) each nozzle opening (25, 26) is assigned a valve (29, 30) as a shut-off device such that the actual glue pressure as regulated in each case by the pressure control valve (37) is exerted in the region of the open nozzle opening (25, 26).
  10. The apparatus according to Claim 1 or one of the further Claims, characterized in that the nozzle openings (25, 26) of the glue assembly (23) are assigned individually controllable pressure control valves for regulating the glue pressure of individual nozzle openings (25, 26) or groups of nozzle openings (25, 26).
  11. A process for the manufacture of blanks as an outer wrapper for a bundle pack (10), with the blanks being severed from a material web (21) and folded around a group of cigarette packs, with the material web (21) being provided with glue areas (16) or glue strips (20) that are produced with an apparatus according to one or more of the claims 1 to 10, characterized by the following features:
    a) the material web (21) is provided with a row of spaced glue areas (16) directed transverse to the material web (21) in the region of a edge strip (15) of the blank to be produced,
    b) in the region of the same blank, glue strips (20) pointing in the direction of movement of the material web (21) are then applied opposite one another in the region of cover tabs (18) of the blank,
    c) the program for controlling the glue assembly is selected such that the glue areas (16), on one hand, and the glue strips (20), on the other hand, differ in their layer thickness, namely with the glue strips (20) having a greater layer thickness than the glue areas (16).
