Description

Apparatus to process and dye fabrics in cords; with conjugated tilting according to the direction orientation of the fabric
The present patent of utility model, has as its object, an apparatus model to process and dye fabrics in cords, for use in dying and processing of fabrics in general and, to which was given original and unprecedented construction, in order to improve its utilization.
Several types of apparatuses are already known and used for the same application, consisting of one or more bodies, in round, cylindrical or spherical shape, open, semi-open or pressurized and, of which the conformation may be horizontal, vertical or inclined, the most of which with a single direction of movement of the substrate and some with double direction, these last ones are mostly, in conical, cylindrical or spherical shape; the fabric is tied or sewn in the external ends, moving due to some type of traction, mechanic, pneumatic, hydraulic or mixed among them, during all the dying process.
Despite the large utilization of these apparatuses, they all have some kind of problem, that is: the apparatuses with only one moving direction of the fabric, due to the long processing time, allied to the structure or thermoplasticity of the fibers, give rise to a well-known phenomenon and of common tolerance due to its complexity, which is the longitudinal stretching of the fabrics and which, is only corrected in the subsequent finishing processes which, although correcting the required width, jte dimensional stability is generally affected and unstable, subject to deformations in the subsequent washings by the final user of the manufactured product; similarly, as to the apparatuses with double moving direction of the fabric; due to the shape of their bodies, casing or basket, vertical, spherical or inclined, they have a relatively small volume for containing the substrates, forming a dense and compact mass concentrating a significant amount of fabric, in a relatively small space, hindering, as to most fabric types, the achievement of a larger volume and, due to this same accumulation allied to a certain thermoplasticity of the synthetic fibers, causes the formation of "wrinkles", "folds" or "creases" generally irreversible. affecting the final Quality of the fabrics, if the heating or cooling times are not carefully controlled, making the process slower and more expensive.
Considering all these problems and in order to overcome them, this apparatus was developed, object hereof, which consists of one or more cylindrical modules or bodies, coupled together or separately, constructed in a semi-open or pressurized system, disposed in opposed pulling directions, driven by hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanic or combined system, with free or driven guiding rollers and, whose fabric moving direction inversion is done by an inversion system with suction and pressure valves, simultaneously to each fabric direction inversion the unprecedented and original tilting system is driven, corresponding to an inclination degree favorable to each fabric type or weight, or to the amount of liquid, allowing a soft and organized flow and orientation of the fabric at the driving head and, upon inverting its direction, is tilted in the inverse direction providing the same advantages offered in the opposite direction, solving once and for all the whole problem of double moving direction of fabrics in horizontal apparatuses, not causing knots or entanglement or even strong stresses due to the entanglement of the cord(s) during traction.
The attached drawings show the arrangement of the apparatus to dye and process fabric in cords, object of this patent, in which:
Figure 1 shows the apparatus in lateral section, at leveled position.
Figure 2 shows the apparatus in the upper section. Figure 3 shows the apparatus in lateral section tilted to the left, with the fabric moving in clockwise direction.
Figure 4 shows the apparatus in lateral section tilted to the right, with the fabric moving in counterclockwise direction. As shown by the figures listed above, the model of the apparatus to process and dye fabric in cords, object of this patent, consists of one or more semi-perforated cylindrical bodies 1 , coupled or separated among them, having at the ends two pulling or receiving heads 10 and 11 , two fabric pulling systems 3 and 4 consisting of jets of the liquid itself, pneumatic or mixed among them, a connection pipe 5 between each two heads, two guiding rollers 16 and 18, free or driven, one hydraulic pump or driving fan system 21 or even a system conjugated among these, one set of central bearings 6, supporting, holding and allowing movement to each body and fixed on a supporting chassis 24 of the apparatus, one supporting shaft 15 of the apparatus and bearings, one or two pneumatic, hydraulic or servomotor pistons 12 and 13, with inverted operating functions, which drive the tilting, allowing the adjustable inclination from 0.1 to 4 degrees, by means of a pin with spring 14, according to the need of good flow of the substrates, two inspection covers 7 and 8, one fabric loading and unloading cover 9, one auxiliary tank 22 for product introduction, one auxiliary pump 23 for product introduction, one external casing 2 for liquid containment for each semi-perforated body, where the suction valves 19 and 20 are connected, one free roller for auxiliary loading and unloading guide 17, other loading, heating, cooling, pressurization accessories, safety valves etc., figures 3 and 4 show also, schematically, the fabric 27 and the corresponding liquid levels 25 and 26, according to the inclinations and direction of the fabric.
The fabric is introduced through cover 9, pulled by jet 3, and, at the end of the loading, its ends are tied or sewn to each other, forming a closed loop, allowing the constant movement during all the process.
Figure 1 represents the apparatus in lateral section, leveled, when necessary or required by the flow of the fabric.
Figure 2 represents the apparatus in upper section, with the possibility to add one or more bodies.
Figure 3 represents the apparatus with its inclination degree (variable form 0.1 to 4 degrees) to the left, with the fabric moving in clockwise direction, having as pulling jet 3, with open suction and pressure valves 19 and 28 corresponding to this jet, the respective valves 20 and 19, of jet 4, remaining closed.
This inclination maintains the transport pipe 5 permanently full, in both directions of the fabric, avoiding a greater friction of the fabric 27, with the internal walls of this same pipe 5. The fabric moves to the head 10, where it flows by the orientation curve, immediately connected to the pipe of semi-perforated body 1 , flowing to the opposite head 11 , softly and orderly. This inclination to the left is provided by the system of pneumatic, hydraulic or servomotor pistons 12 and 13, which act in the opposite direction of one another to reduce the stress moment.
This inclination provides a rational distribution and orderly flow of the fabric, allowing a differentiated level 25, at each head 10 and 11 , relevant factor for a movement in double direction, without knots or entanglement of the cords.
Figure 4 shows the apparatus in lateral section with its inclination degree (variable from 0.1 to 4 degrees) to the right, with the fabric moving in counterclockwise direction, having as pulling jet 4, whose respective suction and pressure valves 20 and 29 are open, closing simultaneously to valves 20 and 28 of jet 3; the process follows the same conditions of figure 3, but in the opposite direction, and pistons 12 and 13 are driven in an inverse mode as to the former system, providing the same advantages of the process described above.
The inversion of the direction of the fabric and the tilting with its respective conjugate inclination may be performed alternatively during programmable times, by a timer or manually, always with the purpose of avoiding longitudinal stretching.
Logically the apparatus with such construction can be obtained with more bodies 1 , and respective driving and tilting systems, the alternation of the inclination is already performed by the same system, as well as, the sizes and capacities may be various to comply with the different needs of the users of this type of equipment.
