Vorzugsweise besorgt ein konisch verlaufender Abschnitt der Andrückrolle die Teilumbördelung des ersten Schritts. Da in den weiteren Schritten die Andrückrolle im Wesentlichen die Aufgabe hat, den Rollfalzkopf am Flansch zu führen, kann es sich um einen einzigen zylindrischen Körper handeln, der an dem nicht umzubördelnden Abschnitt des Flansches anliegt und daran abrollt. Claims (10)

  1. A roller folding head for fastening to a robotic arm, comprising a base body (2), characterised by at least two pairs of rollers (8, 10; 9, 11 or 20, 22; 21, 23), each of the at least two pair of rollers (8, 10; 9, 11 or 20, 22; 21, 23) comprising a pressure roller and a counter-roller which co-operate to bend a flange (32) by a specific angle along a folding line, and by a carriage (5) which can slide on the base body (2), the pressure rollers (8, 9 or 20, 21) being pivot-mounted on the carriage (5).
  2. The roller folding head according to claim 1, characterised in that the second counter-roller (11) of one pair of rollers (9, 11) is mounted on the base body (2) in such a manner that it cannot be shifted, and the first counter-roller (10) of the other pair of rollers (8, 10) is pivot-mounted on another carriage (12) which can be moved relative to the base body (2).
  3. The roller folding head according to claim 1, characterised in that both counter-rollers (10, 11) are pivot-mounted in non-shifting mounts on the base body (2).
  4. The roller folding head according to claim 2, characterised in that the two carriages (5, 12) are disposed on the base body (2) in such a manner that they can be moved perpendicularly to each other.
  5. The roller folding head according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that one pressure roller (9) can be assigned to different counter-rollers (11, 22, 23).
  6. The roller folding head according to claim 5, characterised in that the different counter-rollers (11, 22, 23) are coupled to a revolver head (24) which is connected to the base body (2).
  7. A method for folding a flange (32) using a roll folding head in accordance with claim 1, wherein the beading is performed in at least two successive steps, characterised in that the flange (32) is folded around another flange (33), wherein at least in the first step, the parallel flanges (32, 33) are forced against each other and the flange (32) is partially beaded by means of the pressure roller (8, 9 or 20, 21) and the counter-roller, by moving the movable carriage (5) and the pressure roller (8, 9 or 20, 21) disposed on the carriage (5), wherein in at least one subsequent step, the flange (32) is respectively beaded further by a correspondingly orientated counter-roller.
  8. The method according to the preceding claim, characterised in that a conically tapering segment of the pressure roller (8, 9 or 20, 21) provides the partial beading (21).
  9. The method for folding a flange (32) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein at least three different roller pairings of the roller folding head are used.
  10. The method according to the preceding claim, characterised in that three counter-rollers co-operate in succession with one of the pressure rollers, in order to form the at least three different roller pairings.
