Definitions
- wet mop covers for the care of floor hard surfaces are known in which are sewn on the top of the longitudinal ends holder pockets, such as in the DE 3809279 C1 described.
- Cleansing textiles or textiles as well as mop covers currently consist predominantly of cotton and plastic fibers.
- the plastic fibers are also already known as microfibers, i. formed in a thickness dtex ⁇ 1.
- microfibers i. formed in a thickness dtex ⁇ 1.
- mixtures of both basic components are present. This is necessary because both textiles have partially contradictory properties and a mop cover only allows the highest performance if many positive qualities are combined in it.
- the water suction of cotton is about 250%, that of plastic fibers practically at 0%;
- the soil carrying capacity of cotton is good, while that of plastic fibers is poor except for micro or polypropylene fibers.
- the abrasiveness of cotton is very low, while that of plastic fibers is high.
- the washing stability of cotton is relatively poor, while that of polyester and polypropylene is to be described as good, although plastic fibers sometimes, especially when using polyamide, should not be exposed to such high temperatures.
- Another disadvantage is the different shrinkage behavior of plastic fibers and cotton and the poorer sliding behavior of the cotton in turn compared to the plastic fibers.
- the wet mops are with a holding device, this can both tiling, which interact with hook and loop as well as be provided.
- the material requirements of these components of a wet mop cover are high wash stability, extreme tear resistance low shrinkage and good dimensional stability with simultaneous elasticity during the washing process and during wringing or pressing.
- the cleansing side i. the side of a wet mop cover facing the floor during the wiping process usually consists of fringes, loops, shaggers, fleece or lamellae.
- This page should have a high suction or water absorption capacity, the largest possible dirt-holding capacity and dirt retention, a smooth sliding behavior, excellent wash stability, good dirt-dissolving and tearing behavior and the highest possible resistance to fluff release.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide a wet mop, optionally in conjunction with a wet mop, which remains optimally usable with good dirt dissolving and recording effect even in particularly moisture-sensitive floors and yet is inexpensive to manufacture.
- a particularly good cleaning effect is achieved if the textile has microfasem. If the textile has a cotton-polyester mixture, its durability is advantageously particularly high.
- the microfibers have a thickness of dtex ⁇ 2, preferably dtex ⁇ 1, whereby although microfibers, which may consist of polyester, polyamide or a similar plastic, have virtually no water or liquid absorption ability, it is achieved that by capillary action for the cleaning process sufficient liquid and dirt retention capacity is achieved.
- the Schmutzierr conducted Ober is much more important than the high suction power; this also applies to fluid intake. It is better to clean with less liquid.
- the pressing action can be further increased, characterized in that bottom plate parts are provided in the region of the joint with recesses the accumulation of material in the buckling area of the wet mop cover can be recorded in a press-neutral manner.
- Press neutral here means that the same force acts on all areas of the wet wipe during the pressing process.
- This volume adjustment can be done on the wet wipe itself by appropriate recesses and the wet wiper.
- a pressing device 4 On the handle 2 of a dampening device 1, which is connected to an intermediate plate 3, a pressing device 4 is guided.
- the pressing device 4 acts on two bottom plate parts 5 and 6 of the bottom plate 7 and leads by moving in the direction of arrow 8 for Auspressvorgang.
- the two bottom plate parts 5 and 6 are articulated via joints 9 to the intermediate plate 3.
- the bottom plate 7 is provided with Velcro hooks 10, which hold the mop cover 11 on wet mop.
- the wet mop cover 11 consists of the cleaning-active textile 12, a pad 13 and the holding device 14.
- the pad 13 is preferably made of a closed-cell polyolefin foam, the holding device of a Haftflausch of polyamide. However, the pad 13 may basically have another closed-cell foam (such as PP, PVC, rubber).
- the textile can consist of a fiber mix between cotton and plastic fibers but also pure synthetic fiber, pure cotton fiber or pure microfibre.
- the pad is provided in the central region 19 with a recess 20.
Description

Cleansing textiles or textiles as well as mop covers currently consist predominantly of cotton and plastic fibers. Mostly, mixtures of both basic components are present. Frequently, the plastic fibers are also already known as microfibers, i. formed in a thickness dtex ≤ 1. Mostly, mixtures of both basic components are present. This is necessary because both textiles have partially contradictory properties and a mop cover only allows the highest performance if many positive qualities are combined in it. Thus, the water suction of cotton is about 250%, that of plastic fibers practically at 0%; The soil carrying capacity of cotton is good, while that of plastic fibers is poor except for micro or polypropylene fibers. The abrasiveness of cotton is very low, while that of plastic fibers is high. On its upper side, i. the bottom side facing away from the wiping, the wet mops are with a holding device, this can both tiling, which interact with hook and loop as well as be provided. The material requirements of these components of a wet mop cover are high wash stability, extreme tear resistance low shrinkage and good dimensional stability with simultaneous elasticity during the washing process and during wringing or pressing.
The cleansing side, i. the side of a wet mop cover facing the floor during the wiping process usually consists of fringes, loops, shaggers, fleece or lamellae. This page should have a high suction or water absorption capacity, the largest possible dirt-holding capacity and dirt retention, a smooth sliding behavior, excellent wash stability, good dirt-dissolving and tearing behavior and the highest possible resistance to fluff release.
The object of the invention is therefore to provide a wet mop, optionally in conjunction with a wet mop, which remains optimally usable with good dirt dissolving and recording effect even in particularly moisture-sensitive floors and yet is inexpensive to manufacture.
This task is solved in departure of the long-term development direction in that the pad is made of a closed-cell foam, which exerts no or only a very small suction and thus absorbs virtually no water, which in turn carries the holding device. Surprisingly, it has been found that, although a high suction effect of the cushioning material may possibly absorb a high amount of liquid, the actual dirt-holding capacity is practically not increased thereby. The dirt is absorbed only in the area of wiping fibers and practically not transported through the entire fabric into the absorbent foam material. On the other hand, it becomes much more difficult with the increase of the suction force to squeeze the liquid out of this material again, which is extremely important for the dry wiping of the floors to be cleaned. Especially with parquet and the ever-spreading laminate floors made of plastic almost absolute dry wiping is desired.
A particularly good cleaning effect is achieved if the textile has microfasem. If the textile has a cotton-polyester mixture, its durability is advantageously particularly high.
In an embodiment of the invention, the microfibers have a thickness of dtex ≦ 2, preferably dtex ≦ 1, whereby although microfibers, which may consist of polyester, polyamide or a similar plastic, have virtually no water or liquid absorption ability, it is achieved that by capillary action for the cleaning process sufficient liquid and dirt retention capacity is achieved. The Schmutzaufreißwirkung is much more important than the high suction power; this also applies to fluid intake. It is better to clean with less liquid.
Further embodiments of the invention can be found in the dependent claims. The combination of a pad made of a polyolefin foam with a textile with microfibers shows particularly good overall properties.
Especially in the connection of such a wet mop cover with a wet mop consisting of a stem on which a hinged on at least one folding joint bottom plate pressing device is articulated, the pressing action can be further increased, characterized in that bottom plate parts are provided in the region of the joint with recesses the accumulation of material in the buckling area of the wet mop cover can be recorded in a press-neutral manner. Press neutral here means that the same force acts on all areas of the wet wipe during the pressing process.
This volume adjustment can be done on the wet wipe itself by appropriate recesses and the wet wiper.
Two embodiments of the invention are explained below with reference to the drawings.
