    Claims (13)

    1. A method for conveying postal parcels,

      distribution of the postal parcels among different parcel compartments of the electronic parcel compartment system.

      the automatically operated conveying means first removes the postal parcels from the transportation containers and then automatically places them into the appropriate parcel compartment.
    7. The method according to one or more of the preceding claims,

      the postal parcels are ascertained by means of a shipment detection system.
    8. The method according to Claim 7,
      characterized in that
      the position of the postal parcels is detected at several places in the transport system and/or at several points in time so that the position and/or the transportation status of the postal parcels can be ascertained by means of a shipment tracking system.
    9. The method according to Claim 8,
      characterized in that
      the position and/or the movement of the postal parcels is detected at least once by detecting the position and/or the movement of the transportation container carrying them.
    10. A device for conveying postal parcels, whereby the device has an electronic parcel compartment system and a means to recognize an identification code on the postal parcels,
      characterized in that
      the device is connected to a stopping place of a transport system for the automatic and/or remote-controlled conveyance of transportation containers and it has a conveying means that can convey the postal parcels from the stopping place to the electronic parcel compartment system.
    11. The device according to Claim 10,
      characterized in that
      the conveying means and the electronic parcel compartment system are connected to each other in such a way that the means for detecting the postal parcels is arranged so as to ascertain the postal parcels fed to the electronic parcel compartment system by the conveying means.
