Description

The invention relates to a device according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such a device is known from EP 0 704 561 B1. The suction device is designed as a suction shaft, which acts in the region on the fibers, in which they are transferred from the take-off roll to the conveyor belt. In fast-moving conveyor belt is a subsequent impairment of resting on the conveyor belt fibers, z. As air turbulence, not excluded, so that the cohesion of the fibers can be disturbed, especially on fast moving bands.

A generic arrangement is also known from GB 962 162 A, with an evacuated draw-off roller, and in which the removal of the fibers from the card is assisted by an air jet which is directed between the fibers and the card surface.

No. 4,475,272 A shows an arrangement in which the removal of the fibers does not take place by means of a suction-supported take-off roll, but in which the fibers are exclusively sucked off. An increase in volume ded fiber web or batt is barely avoidable due to the required, relatively strong suction. This increase in volume affects the cohesion of the fibers and makes them particularly sensitive to influences such. As air turbulence, which act on the fibers in the subsequent transport on a - especially on a fast-running - conveyor belt.

US 5 361 451 A shows an arrangement in which the fibers pass from a card in free flight to an air-permeable, evacuated conveyor belt. Above the conveyor belt is an evacuated roll is provided which forms a baffle or baffle for the free-flying fibers and which rotates in a direction opposite to the carding direction. By arranged on both sides of the fiber flow two suction zones below the conveyor belt and within the roller of the fibers transporting air stream is fanned into two streams, which should result in a particularly voluminous fiber structure on the conveyor belt. Also, this increase in volume affects the cohesion of the fibers and makes them particularly sensitive to influences such. As air turbulence, which act on the fibers in the subsequent transport on a - especially on a fast-running - conveyor belt.

From US Pat. No. 3,787,930 A, an arrangement is known in which the fiber removal from the carding is to take place without a comb, which could possibly also be configured as a rotating withdrawal roller. Rather, the fiber removal should be done by means of a baffle, a vacuumed roller and several conveyor belts. A uniform alignment of the fibers is thereby prevented and a reorientation of the fibers are favored.

From DE 298 22 227 U1 a suction roll arrangement for the press of a pulp drying machine is known. A moisture-laden cellulosic web is first passed between a press felt and a wire and then held by a suction roll on the press felt. Suction chambers in the suction roll help to remove moisture from the pulp web. The problem as it occurs with freely moving fibers or a very loose, sensitive fiber composite, is not addressed here.

,The invention has for its object to improve a generic device to the effect that they favor with simple means to different production conditions an optimal transfer of the fibers is adjustable and customizable. .

This object is achieved by a device having the features of claim 1.

In other words, the invention proposes to favor the transfer in a manner known per se by means of a negative pressure applied to the pile delivery belt. The suction effect is made possible by a suction roll, around which the pile delivery belt rotates. The suction effect can be influenced by the fact that a gap or slot nozzle provided within the suction roll is adjustable, so that they can be adjusted to different conditions Circumferential areas of the suction roller can act. Depending on the production speed and the type of fiber used, therefore, the transfer from the take-off roll to the pile delivery belt can be optimally influenced by means of the suction roll.

A homogenization of the suction effect is achieved in that, in addition to the gap or slot nozzle, a second suction region is provided on the suction roll, which acts in a larger compared to the nozzle peripheral portion of the suction roll. Advantageously, the two suction regions can be adjusted independently of each other, so that the most varied flow or vacuum conditions are adjustable, which act on the fibers to be transferred.

Advantageously, the fiber transition and in particular the deposit on the pile delivery belt in the peripheral region of the suction roll instead, so controlled in the area in which the negative pressure acts, so that optimal fiber deposition can be supported on the pile delivery belt.

The suction or negative pressure effect is supported by an air accumulation or overpressure effect, which facilitates the detachment of the fibers from the take-off roll. For this purpose, an air accumulation in the conveying direction of the fibers behind the take-off roll is generated by means of an auxiliary roll which rotates in the same direction with the take-off roll.

A possible undisturbed acquisition of the nonwoven fabric on the pile delivery belt can be promoted in particular by the fact that the pile delivery belt runs slightly faster than the peripheral speed of the take-off roller corresponds. In this way, a jamming of material or a compression of the nonwoven fabric is avoided and in a conventional manner, as is known by different peripheral speeds of the carding machine and the take-off roll, produces a smoothest possible fiber layer on the pile delivery belt.

The pile delivery belt can be followed by an accumulation belt as a further conveying device, wherein for the transfer of the fibers between the two belts a suction roller is provided, which is formed absorbent only on a part of its circumference.

The effective on a part of its circumference suction rolls with slot die are known for example from US Patent No. 3,787,930. In this case, however, it is proposed that such suction rolls expressly provided for reorientation of the fibers, while usually, and in particular in a gatturigsgemäßen device, the fibers remain undisturbed as possible and should retain their orientation.

Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung werdennachfolgen anhand der Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Dabei zeigt

Fig. 1
Fig. 2
eine Anordnung ähnlich Fig. 1, mit nachgeschaltetem Flor-Sammelband.
Embodiments of the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawings. It shows
Fig. 1
a first embodiment with a card and a Flor-Lieferband, and
Fig. 2
an arrangement similar to FIG. 1, with downstream pile-pile.

In the drawings, 1 as a whole denotes a device which serves for the production of fiber webs. From a carding machine 2, which conveys fibers 3 in the counterclockwise direction, the fibers 3 are removed by a take-off roll 4, and from the take-off roll 4 the fibers 3 reach a pile delivery belt 5.

The pile delivery belt 5 runs around a total of three rolls, the take-off roll 4 being provided next to a suction roll 6 which has an air-permeable surface, just as the pile delivery belt 5 is made permeable to air. More than the three exemplified rolls can deviate be provided by the illustrated embodiment to z. B. to ensure a particularly reliable guidance of the pile delivery belt 5.

The suction roll 6 has a slit nozzle 7 which is rotatably adjustable, so that the air-permeable periphery of the suction roll 6 moves together with the pile delivery belt 5, while the slotted nozzle 7, in contrast, stops rotation and their suction unfolds at a fixed, predetermined location.

In dotted lines, on the other hand, a different, different position of the slotted nozzle 7 with 7a is indicated. By adjusting about the roller longitudinal axis, the slotted nozzle 7 can be adjusted to adjust the position of the negative pressure range zukönnen. Apart from this adjustability, the suction effect of the slit nozzle 7 can also be influenced by means known per se, for example by influencing the blower output of a suction fan, sliders more or less inserted into the extraction duct or the like.

The fibers 3 pass from the take-off roll 4 to the pile delivery belt 5 in the region in which this rotates about the suction roll 6, ie in the bent region of this delivery belt 5. The split nozzle 7 effects or assists the transition of the fibers 3 from the Take-off roller 4 on the pile delivery belt 5 and in particular supports the detachment of the fibers 3 from the take-off roll 4. A subsequent second suction region of the suction roll 6 ensures optimal conditioning of the fibers 3 on the pile delivery belt 5. For this purpose, a second suction region is provided in the direction of rotation of the suction roller 6 behind the slit nozzle 7, which constitutes about 1/4 to 1/3 of the circumference of the suction roller 6 and is indicated purely schematically by 8.

Der von der Hilfswalze 9 umfangsmäßig mitgerissene Luftstrom begünstigt die Ablösung der Fasern 3 von der Abzugswalze 4.However, the influence of the fibers in the conveying direction behind the slit nozzle 7 is effected not only by the second suction region 8, but also by an air cushion, which is constructed downstream of the take-off roll 4 in the conveying direction. For this purpose, an auxiliary roll 9 is provided, which rotates in the same direction with the take-off roll 4, so that the adjacent surfaces of these two rolls meet in opposite directions. The circumferentially entrained by the auxiliary roll 9 air flow promotes the detachment of the fibers 3 of the take-off roll. 4

In Fig. 2, the device 1 is further developed to the effect that an accumulation belt 10 is provided, which conveys the pile delivery belt 5 as well as possibly further pile delivery belts. The transfer of the fibers 3 from the pile delivery belt 5 onto the collecting belt 10 is promoted by a suction roller designated as transfer roller 11, which is absorbent only in a region 12 whose lateral boundaries are shown in FIG. 2 drawn through lines.
