Durch den dabei im Raum 26, in der Bohrung 8 und im Auslaßkanal 13 entstehenden Luftdruck wird einerseits das Rückschlagventil 5, 6 geschlossen gehalten und andererseits die Dichtlippe 19 des Ventilverschlußstücks 15 dicht an die Innenseite des ersten Abschnitts des Auslaßkanals 13 gedrückt, so daß das Ventilverschlußstück 15 gegen die Kraft der Rückstellfeder 16 nach oben bewegt wird und den Durchtritt durch den zweiten Abschnitt des Auslaßkanals 13 zur Ausspritzöffnung 17 freigibt. Die zunächst noch im Druckraum 26 enthaltene Luft kann dann über die Bohrung 8 und den Auslaßkanal 13 entweichen. Nach Wegnahme des manuellen Drucks drückt die Rückstellfeder 22 den Kolben 7 wieder in die obere Endlage und die Rückstellfeder 16 das Ventilverschlußstück 15 in die untere Endlage nach Fig. 2. Durch den dabei im Druckraum 26 entstehenden Unterdruck nimmt das erste Ventilverschlußstück 5 seine obere Endlage an axialen Rippen 35 im Anschlußstutzen 28 ein, während das zweite Ventilverschlußstück 30 zwar vom oberen Ende des Tauchrohrs 29 abgehoben, jedoch nicht bis in die Schließlage am Ventilsitz 31 angehoben und das Produkt 36, z.B. eine Flüssigkeit, aus dem Behältnis 2 durch das Tauchrohr 29 und den Anschlußstutzen 28 hindurch in den Druckraum 26 und - gegebenenfalls nach einer weiteren Betätigung und Entlastung des Betätigungskopfes 12 - durch die Bohrung 8 bis zum Ventilverschlußstück 15 hochgesaugt wird. Durch erneutes Niederdrücken des Betätigungskopfes 12 in die Lage nach Fig. 3 wird das Produkt solange ausgegeben, bis die Dichtlippe 20 des Kolbens 7 unter die Abstufung 27 niedergedrückt worden ist.
