Abstract

A data processing system (14) for processing a stream of multiple bit data representing a two-dimensional pixel array is disclosed. The processing system comprises a first data processing circuit (104) coupled for receiving a plurality of image data sets representing the pixel array and receiving a plurality of correction data sets representing a plurality of correction factors to the image data sets and configured to generate a plurality of corrected data sets in response to the plurality of image data sets and the plurality of correction data sets. The processing system also comprises a first data selection circuit (106) coupled to said first data processing circuit (104) and configured to generate a plurality of first selected data sets by selecting a corresponding corrected data set in response to a status subset in a corresponding correction data set having a first value and selecting the corresponding correction data set in response to the status subset having a second value.
