Description

The invention relates to a deposit lock for a trolley, in particular for a shopping cart, with a fastening part for attachment to a transport carriage located on the support portion, connected to the fastening part intermediate part, which is intended for fastening or support on the handlebar of the trolley, wherein the deposit lock a coupling device and a coupling element which is provided for coupling to the deposit lock of another identical trolley and wherein the fastening part is extended with a portion in the direction of the handle bar and the intermediate part with a portion in the direction of the support portion.

The German Utility Model 93 13 499 U1 describes a trolley, which is equipped with a deposit lock, which is arranged between the corresponding shortened handle bar and one of the two support sections of the trolley. The deposit lock is connected to the handle bar and screwed to a cap, which is located on each of the support sections.
Unused trolleys, in particular shopping trolleys, are parked together in rows by means of the deposit locks. Such rows or row sections of trolleys often have to be pushed from one parking space to another parking space, especially when the removal and return of transport car runs differently so that suddenly no more trolleys are available in sufficient numbers at a parking space. When pushing existing rows of trolleys curvatures must inevitably be traveled, in which case acting on the chain coupling elements enormous, extending in the longitudinal direction of the chains tensile forces acting ultimately from the deposit locks and thus must be absorbed by the individual cars. The indicated in Fig. 2 of the utility model mentioned above, designed as a connector construction is in need of improvement with respect to the described tensile forces. The connection between the deposit lock and the one at Supporting portion located cap is dimensioned relatively short in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the handle bar, so that at least a loosening of the proposed connection must be feared when the transverse to the handlebar tensile forces occur.

From US-A-5 951 029 a deposit lock is known, which is in a einstuckigen attachment part, which is attached to the end of a handlebar located on the trolley and the support portion of the trolley is located.

It is an object of the invention to further develop a deposit lock of the present type such that it is capable of absorbing externally acting forces, in particular the tensile forces described above, without damage and that in this case the coupling device can be accommodated in an appropriate manner at the deposit lock.

The solution of the problem is that portions of the fastening part and the intermediate part are arranged overlapping and that the coupling device is located in at least one of the sections.

Due to the overlapping arrangement of the mentioned sections, these can be dimensioned relatively long, so that large mutual support surfaces are formed which are capable of acting on the outside of the deposit lock forces, in particular in the longitudinal direction of the trolley extending tensile forces, coupled via the coupling element of another Transport trolley act on the deposit lock, record harmless. The overlapping of the sections of fastening part and intermediate part expediently takes place in a form-fitting manner, so that forces acting transversely to the overlapping can be controlled without damage. As a result, it is also possible to accommodate the coupling device in at least one of the sections, since the fastening part and the intermediate part can be dimensioned such that no bending of these parts has to be feared when forces are applied. The coupling device is thus exposed to no bending forces. The overlapping of the sections can only be done on one level. It is more expedient, however, to make the overlapping of the sections on at least two different levels, so that the connection created between the fastening part and the intermediate part proves to be extremely stable. Out For reasons of stability, it also proves to be advantageous to select the length of the overlap measured in the longitudinal direction of the grip rod to be greater than the width of the coupling device measured in the same direction.

Fig. 1 shows a deposit lock 1 viewed from that side from which a pledge (coin, card and the like.) In a known, located in the deposit lock 1 coupling device 2 can be inserted. On the opposite, not visible here side of the deposit lock 1 is in an known manner an opening which is intended to receive the coupling element 3 of another trolley, see Fig. 5. The deposit lock 1 has a fastening part 4, which on a supporting portion sixteenth is fixed in place, which is located on a trolley 15. The deposit lock 1 is further equipped with an intermediate part 6 which is attached to the end of a handle bar 18 located on the trolley 15. The fastening part 4 has a preferably horizontally extending portion 5, which is extended in the direction of the handle bar 18. The intermediate part 6 has a section 7, which in turn is preferably extended horizontally in the direction of the support section 16. The sections 5, 7 are mutually overlapping arranged and detachably connected to each other via this usually horizontally extending overlap 8. The joining of the sections 5, 7 can be done by screwing or pinning or by positive engagement of various kinds. The coupling device 2 of the deposit lock 1 can both be assembled from individual parts and / or Assemblies consist, as well as be formed by a cassette-shaped unit, which is housed in a deposit lock 1 located, not shown space. In the example, the coupling device 2 is completely in section 7 of the intermediate part 6. The coupling device 2 may also claim the fastening part 4 in addition. It is also possible to accommodate the coupling device 2 exclusively in section 5 of the fastening part 4. In the example, the measured in the axial direction of the handle bar 18 Length A of the overlap 8 is greater than the width B measured in the same direction of the example designed as a cassette coupling device 2. The deposit lock 1 carries at a suitable location a known coupling element 3, which consists of a kind Key consists, which is attached to a flexible part, such as a chain, wherein the flexible part is in turn arranged on the deposit lock 1, see Fig. 5. The position numbers 10 are shown in the drawing two horizontally extending, dash-dotted lines sections shown each two common vertical or approximately vertical connecting surfaces 9 of fastening part 4 and intermediate part 6 intersect. The line sections 10 are intended to indicate known locking means by means of which the fastening part 4 and the intermediate part 6 can be additionally secured after their joining. Of course, the common connecting surfaces 9 emanating from the horizontally extending overlap 8 can also be regarded as a further part of the overlap 8. Thus, the overlap 8 need not only be formed by the horizontal section shown in the drawing. The latter becomes clear when one turns, for example, the drawing to Fig. 1 by 90 °. The overlap 8 of fastening part 4 and intermediate part 6 then has an approximately Z-shaped, ie angled course. The joining of fastening part 4 and intermediate part 6 can basically be done in different ways. Decisive is the respective choice of the form fit.

According to the section line "X - X" Fig. 2 shows a cross section of the deposit lock 1. The intermediate part 6 has at its portion 7 a dovetailed web 11 which is parallel to the longitudinal axis 19 of the handle bar 18. The web 11 is positively in a dovetail-shaped Inserted groove 12, which is located in section 5 of the fastening part 4. The joining of fastening part 4 and intermediate part 6 takes place in the longitudinal direction of the handle bar 18, ie horizontally, cf. also Fig. 1.

In the embodiment shown in Fig. 3 equipped with undercuts protrusions 13 are provided on the underside of the portion 7 of the intermediate part 6, which are intended for latching insertion in openings 14 which are located at the top of the portion 5 of the fastening part 4. The joining of fastening part 4 and intermediate part 6 takes place here in the vertical direction, see double arrow.

Der Zusammenfügevorgang verläuft bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel zuerst in vertikaler und dann in horizontaler Richtung, siehe abgewinkelter Doppelpfeil.4 shows in a spatial representation of a further embodiment of a fastening part 4. Between the two vertical connecting surfaces 9 is the visible from above horizontal surface 9 'of the section, see also Fig. 1. At that side on which the coupling element 3 of another Transport cart 15 is inserted into the deposit lock 1, the fastener has a wall 22 which is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the handle bar 18. In attached to the fastening part 4 state, the intermediate part 6 is supported transversely to the longitudinal direction of the handle bar 18 on the wall 22 and thus on the fastening part 4, in which case the common connecting surfaces 9 of fastening part 4 and intermediate part 6 abut each other and the overlap 8 formed approximately is as described in Fig. 1. In the example, two conically shaped projections 13 are provided on the inside of the wall 22 and at the front end of the higher-lying connecting surface 9, a likewise conically shaped recess 14 is incorporated. At aufzusetzenden, not shown intermediate part 6 certain recesses 14 and a certain insertion for insertion into the recess 14 certain projections 13 are provided at appropriate locations for receiving the projections. The projections 13 and recesses 14 form common connecting portions, which are determined for final position-accurate and precise connection of fastening part 4 and intermediate part 6. The placement of the intermediate part 6 on the fastening part 4 is initially displaced position, ie, the intermediate part 6 is in the drawing, slightly offset to the right from above down on the fastening part 4, that the common connection surfaces 9 abut each other and the overlap 8 is largely formed. Subsequently, the intermediate part 6 is pressed in the drawing to the left against the wall 22 so that on the mentioned projections 13 and recesses 14, a positive connection of fastening part 4 and intermediate part 6 is achieved. The assembly process runs in this embodiment, first in the vertical and then in the horizontal direction, see angled double arrow.

Die Griffstange 18 mündet mit ihrem linken Ende in eine Kappe 21, die an einem auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Korbes 20 befindlichen weiteren Tragabschnitt 16 aufgesetzt und an diesem gesichert ist.FIG. 5 shows a trolley 15 designed as a shopping trolley whose deposit lock 1 is arranged on the right side of the sliding device 17 of the trolley 15. The fastening part 4 is placed on a support portion 16 which is part of the basket 20. The form-fittingly connected to the fastening part 4 intermediate part 6 is fitted accurately to the right end of the handle bar 18. The handle bar 18 opens with its left end in a cap 21 which is placed on a located on the opposite side of the basket 20 further supporting portion 16 and secured thereto.
