Abstract
Description
The invention relates to radiation protection clothing for shielding radiation, which is emitted by a radiation source, in particular an X-ray source, according to the preamble of claim 1.
Furthermore, from the German Utility Model Gm 77 07 129 an X-ray apron is known which comprises a front part and two backs and a closure for holding the backs, wherein at each back a band is attached, at its end a Velcro closure layer is, and complementary Velcro layers the apron are provided, on which the Velcro layers at the end portions of the bands after they are crosswise guided over the other back part, for the purpose of producing an adhesive bond can be placed. The complementary Velcro closure layers for the Velcro layer of each band are arranged on the other back part.
A disadvantage of the known from the above patent or utility model writings Radiation protection garments is in particular that the complementary Velcro layers, in particular the so-called wool part, lose their adhesive force by frequent opening and closing of the Velcro connection. Over time, it is therefore no longer possible to ensure a secure connection between the complementary velcro layers or a correct and secure fit of the radiation protection clothing.
This is particularly noticeable in the X-ray apron known from the Gm 77 07 129, since this is fixed only by two tapes provided with Velcro, which are secured in the back area, so that the not inconsiderable weight of the X-ray apron rests exclusively on the shoulders of the wearer and thereby the Velcro connection in the back area is exposed to strong tensile forces. This can occur when the Velcro connection becomes fatigued, so that the X-ray apron accidentally slips off the shoulders.
Although it is possible to separate the complementary Velcro layers of the radiation protection clothing and to fix new Velcro layers on the radiation protection clothing, but this is expensive and therefore costly. The particular problem with this is that the radiation protection layer, which prevents the ionizing radiation, when sewing or otherwise attaching the Velcro layers must not be penetrated by seams, rivets or the like. Therefore, in most cases, a large part of the radiation protection clothing must be separated and re-sewn, so that this effort is not worthwhile.
The object of the present invention is to provide a radiation protection clothing in which Velcro parts can be exchanged in a simple manner and which ensures a reliable protection against radiation.
The object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1 in combination with the generic features.
Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.
Advantageously, Velcro fasteners, which are located in the end region of fastening straps of the radiation protection clothing, for example, with zippers, snaps or snap fasteners can be fixed to the radiation protection clothing. Since these straps are usually in a range of radiation protection clothing, which is not relevant radiation absorption technology, can be fixed to the fastening straps in a simple way rivets, zippers or snap buckles and the complementary Velcro parts.
Furthermore, the complementary Velcro fastener parts can also be arranged on the surface of the radiation protection clothing, for example by means of zippers, in such a way that they are interchangeable even in areas which are relevant to radiation without impairing the safety of the radiation protection clothing.
Particularly advantageous is the attachment of the Velcro fastener parts by means of another Velcro fastener connection, wherein one of the complementary Velcro fastener parts is attached to the surface of the radiation protective clothing and on it a double-sided Velcro part is placed at these positions. Since the bottom velcro is rarely opened and closed, the adhesive force is very high, so that a secure fixation is given with easy interchangeability.
Furthermore, it is advantageous that none of the fastening measures on a fixture in radically relevant The field of radiation protection clothing is dependent. The attachment can be made in each case on fastening straps, straps or a radiation-technically not relevant outer shell or the upper layer of radiation protection clothing.

The radiation protection clothing 1 has in the present embodiment, two
