Description

The invention relates to a sectional door according to the features of the preamble of claim 1.

Such sectional doors are z. In DE 37 26 699 C3 and DE 88 00 956.4 U1 described. The gates have a door leaf, which runs in lateral guide rails and consists of a plurality of panels, which are sent to each other at their ends and hinged together by hinges. In each of these known panels a Fingerklemmschutz is achieved in that the upper end face of a panel is at least partially concave, while the lower end face of each panel is designed to match a correspondingly smaller radius convex. Between the convex and concave wall sections there is an arcuate gap, which remains constantly small when pivoting the panels to each other and is for example about 4 mm, so that no finger between the panels during pivoting of the sectional door of its open state in the closed state is possible.

While in DE 88 00 956.4 is proposed to maintain the convex and concave configuration of the end faces of the panels over the entire Torblattdickenrichtung, sees the DE 37 26 699 C3 Such a concave-convex design in Torblattdickenrichtung seen only to about half of the Torblattaußenseite and Torblattmitte before. In the remaining part of the panels are based on each other from each other, in addition to the Torblattinnenseite out a groove-spring stage area is provided, whereby offset movements of the door leaf upon application of force perpendicular to the door leaf, such. B. in heavy wind, can be safely intercepted.

Although the previously known sectional doors with respect to sealing properties, offset movements and finger protection seem optimally designed, it has been found in practice that these sectional doors are still in need of improvement. This particular because when pivoting the gates, the individual panels can accidentally abut each other with their faces or rub against each other. This problem occurs especially in very long panels, so very wide sectional doors, and is the sectional door in its open position, hanging the long panels due to their own weight something. Due to the relatively small gap between the end faces of the panels then the front nose of a panel can hang relatively strong down to about half the length of the panel down and abut the previous panel. This problem manifests itself in unpleasant noises as soon as the door leaf is moved out of or into its open position.

This problem can be avoided if relatively many hinges, which also need to be made very stable, are mounted on the back of the door leaf. If, on the other hand, simple and relatively few hinges are used for cost and assembly reasons, this problem is present.

In the previously known door leaves it has been found that the concave and convex end faces, which are close to each other, can easily freeze to one another at very cold temperatures.

Aus US 5 129 441 , US 5 148 850 , US 4 156 448 und US 4 989 660 sind Sektionaltore ohne Fingerklemmschutz bekannt.Out US 5,129,441 . US 5,148,850 . US 4,156,448 and US 4,989,660 Sectional doors are known without finger trap protection.

The aim of the present invention is to modify the previously known sectional doors so that the disadvantages described above are avoided in particular the contact surface, which can arise in the swivel range by the inherent deflection of the panels, is minimized with consistently good finger trap protection.

The invention solves this problem with the features specified in claim 1.

By the inventive measure, the upper end faces of successive panels to make at least partially concave - and starting from approximately from an uppermost point or top points of a panel-, the contact surface, which may arise in the pivoting range by the self-deflection due to the weight of the panels, significantly reduced. As a further advantage of the concave embodiment according to the invention results in a reduction in the number of hinges interconnecting the individual panels hinges. Finally, the freezing surface in the design of the panels according to the invention is substantially lower than in the case of the concave and the matching convex shape of the end faces in the prior art.

Despite the at least partial concave shape of the upper end faces of the panels can be achieved with a suitable choice of the radius of curvature a secure finger protection.

It is provided according to the invention, the upper end face of a panel either from the top of the panel to Torblattaußensseite out completely concave form or only over a part, so not all the way to Torblattaußenseite. For the purposes of the invention, it is also to form a plurality of concave sections one behind the other. With supreme For the purposes of the invention, the term "point" is to be understood as meaning that point in the panel which, when the panel is in a vertical position, ie the upper end face directed upwards, is furthest away from the center of the panel. If there are several upper points in the panel, that is, for example, a straight line is formed on the upper end side, the concave surface section sth starts in the sense of the invention at the upper point, which is assigned to the Torblattqußenseite next. If this is "about" the speech, this is merely to illustrate that curvature radii, which are required by material bending, are taken into account.

In a first embodiment of the invention, the upper and lower end faces of each member are completely concave in shape. The radii of the concave indentations on the end faces can be chosen the same or different.

In a second embodiment of the invention, the upper and lower end side of a member are concave shaped only in the front region, while they are flat in the rear and horizontal, so that there the panels can support each other.

The individual members of the invention gates can, for. B. be hinged together by means of hinges. The radii of the concave indentations and their distance from each other are dimensioned so that a secure finger protection is achieved. This is z. B. achieved when the front nose of an upper profile is always only a maximum of 4 to 5 mm away from the lower panel during the pivoting movement.

The invention will now be described and explained in more detail with reference to FIGS.

In the FIG. 1 three interconnected panels 1 are shown in cross-section. The individual panels 1 have a Torblattaußenseite 100 and a Torblattrückseite 102. The panels 1 are hinged to each other via hinge tabs 112, 114. The hinge lugs are screwed to the Torblattrückseite 102 of the individual panels 1 by means of holes 120. The hinges have hinge axes 110. The individual panels are - as seen in Torblattdickenrichtung - designed as follows. Starting from the Torblattaußenseite 100 goes from a front nose 125, the lower end face of each panel 1 in a concave curvature 130 in the panel interior back, and then project there stepped again. The area of the panel 1, in which the lower end face is concave, is in Fig. 1 marked with the reference a. The step-shaped projecting wall portion of the panel 1 is marked by the reference b. At this last-mentioned wall section, a hinge tab 112 of the mentioned hinge is screwed tight. The upper end side of the panels 1 is also concave (see wall section 140), starting from the door leaf outer side 100. In the area b of the panel 1, however, the panel jumps stepwise back. Between the two concave wall portions 130, 140 there is a gap 150. The superimposed panels 1 are based on each other in the section b. In the Fig. 1 shown panels show the section of a door leaf in its closed position. When pivoting the panels 1, the nose 125 moves about the hinge axis 110. The radius of the concave Wall section 140 is inventively designed so that when pivoting the front nose 125 of an upper panel 1 finger protection is guaranteed. This means that the nose 125 may move a maximum of 4 to 5 mm from the front of the underlying panel 1 during the pivoting maximum. From this requirement, the maximum possible radius of the concave configuration of the wall portion 140 at the upper end side of a panel 1 results.

Both the upper end face 2 and the lower end face 3 of the individual panels 1 are thus concave shaped in this example, so that between two adjacent limbs, a gap 150 is formed whose maximum height determined by the radii of the two concave indentations 2 and 3 is.
In FIG. 2 is a cross section through two interconnected panels 1 in the connection region of a second embodiment shown. The lower end face of a panel 1 is concavely shaped in the front region 3, to which a flat, horizontally extending part 15 connects, to which a downwardly pointing extension 14 adjoins the rear side of the panel 1.

The upper end side of the lower panel 1 is also concave in the front region 2. The concave region 2 is adjoined by a flat, horizontally extending part 16, which merges via a concave bevel 13 into the rear side of the following panel 1. On the horizontally extending portion 16 of the upper end face of the following panel 7, a dovetail 9 is incorporated, in which the dovetail 8 of an intermediate member 6 is located in the between the horizontally extending portion 15 of the lower end side and the horizontally extending portion 16 of the upper Front side of two adjacent panels 1 and 1 is located. The concave-shaped part 3 of the lower end face a panel 1 facing end face 4 of the intermediate member 6 is also concave and passes at the lower end in a dovetail groove 10, in which a sealing strip 11 is seated, the end edge 12 during the winding and unrolling of the sectional door along the concave recess 3 of the lower end of a Link 1 slides.

The in the FIGS. 3 to 5 shown cross sections of further embodiments differ by different radii of the concave indentations on the upper end face 2 and on the lower end face 3 of the panel 1. The corresponding radii are given in the figures concretely.

The intermediate member 6 is preferably designed as a hollow body which snaps into the dovetail groove 9 of a panel and is held in the dovetail groove 9 by the spring force generated as a result of its shape.

This in FIG. 5 embodiment shown is not equipped with the sealing strip 11.

In the FIG. 6 a cross-section through two interconnected foamed panels in the connection region of another embodiment of the invention is shown. The lower end face 3 of an upper panel 1 is concavely shaped in the front region 3, to which a flat, horizontally extending part 15 adjoins, followed by a downwardly pointing extension 14 at the back of the upper panel 1. For material reservation, for example, in the horizontally extending part 15, a bead 17 is incorporated.

The upper end side of the lower panel 7 is also concave in the front portion 2, to which a substantially flat horizontally extending portion 16 connects, the over a concave chamfer 13 merges into the back of the lower panel 7. For material reservation is z. B. in the horizontally extending portion 16 of the upper end face 2 a bead 18 incorporated. In the concave-shaped part 2 of the upper end faces a dovetail groove 10 is incorporated, in which a sealing strip 11 is seated, the end edge 12 during the winding and unrolling of the sectional door along the concave indentation of the lower end face 3 of the upper panel 1 slides.

The panels 1, 7 may be made of metal or plastic, for example. The panels 1, 7 can also be filled with foam.

The above top point is marked P in all figures.
