Claims (19)

  1. Wringing-out device (10) intended to be fitted to a container (101) containing a product, particularly a cosmetic product, to be applied by means of an applicator, the said wringing-out device being at least partly made of an elastically deformable material, the said wringing-out device comprising a body (11) one part (21, 22) of which forms the wringing-out member proper, and means (14, 14'-14''') intended to catch the wringing-out device (10) on the container (101), the said catching means (14, 14'-14''') consisting of at least one flexible lip (14, 14'-14''') extending along the exterior surface of the body (11) and a first end of which is attached to the body (11) of the wringing-out device at a joining region (16), a second end (15) of the lip (14, 14'-14''') being free, the said lip (14, 14'-14'''), in the absence of stress, making with the body (11) an acute angle so as to resist the introduction of the wringing-out device into the container somewhat less than it resists its extraction.
  2. Wringing-out device (10) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the body (11) consists of a tubular element (11) comprising a first end (19) intended, when the wringing-out device (10) has been mounted on the container, to face an end wall (103) of the container (101), and a second end (18) at the opposite end to the first.
  3. Wringing-out device (10) according to Claim 2, characterized in that the said joining region (16) is arranged a non-zero distance away from the said first end (19) of the body.
  4. Wringing-out device (10) according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the said angle is between 30° and 60°, and preferably between 35° and 55°, and preferably about 45°.
  5. Wringing-out device (10) according to any one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the exterior surface of the body (11) has, facing the catching means (14, 14'-14'''), a depression (17) so as to further reduce the resistance of the said catching means (14, 14'-14''') to the introduction of the wringing-out device (10) into the container (101).
  6. Wringing-out device (10) according to any one of Claims 2 to 5, characterized in that the wringing-out member proper (21, 22) is formed of an interior edge (22) of reduced cross section of the tubular element (11), the said interior edge (22) being a non-zero distance away from the said first end (19).
  7. Wringing-out device (10) according to Claim 6, characterized in that the said interior edge of reduced cross section (22) is situated axially between the first end (19) and the said joining region (16), a non-zero distance away from the latter.
  8. Wringing-out device (10) according to Claim 6 or 7, characterized in that the said edge of reduced section (22) consists of the free edge of an annular lip (21) inclined towards the first end (19).
  9. Wringing-out device (10) according to any one of Claims 2 to 8, characterized in that the second end (18) of the tubular element (11) forms a rim (12) able to bear against an edge of the container delimiting an opening (105) thereof.
  10. Wringing-out device (10) according to any one of Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that at least the wringing-out member proper (21, 22) and the catching means (14, 14'-14''') are made of an elastically deformable material.
  11. Wringing-out device (10) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the said elastically deformable material is chosen from thermoplastic or cross-linked elastomers, particularly EPDMs, natural rubbers and nitrile, butyl or silicone elastomers.
  12. Wringing-out device (10) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a first portion (25) made of a first material, which is elastically deformable, the said catching means (14, 14'-14''') and the wringing-out member proper (21, 22) being arranged on the said first portion, and a second portion (24) made of a second material, different from the first, the said wringing-out device (10) being made in particular by two-shot injection moulding or overmoulding.
  13. Wringing-out device (10) according to Claim 12, characterized in that the second material consists of a polyolefin, particularly a polypropylene or a polyethylene.
  14. Unit (100) for packaging and applying a product, particularly a cosmetic product, the said unit comprising a container (101) containing the product, and an applicator member (109) for applying the said product, the said unit being characterized in that it is fitted with a wringing-out device (10) according to any one of the preceding claims, it being possible for the said wringing-out device (10) to have the said applicator member (109) pass through it when the latter is withdrawn from the container, so as to allow the amount of product present on the applicator member (109) to be metered.
  15. Unit (100) according to Claim 14, characterized in that the container (101) is formed of a body (102) separated from a neck (104) by a shoulder (106), a free edge of the neck delimiting an opening (105) near which the said wringing-out device (10) is mounted.
  16. Unit (100) according to Claim 15, characterized in that when the wringing-out device (10) has been mounted on the container, the catching means (14, 14'-14''') are more or less in abutment against the shoulder (106).
  17. Unit (100) according to Claim 16, characterized in that when the wringing-out device (10) has been mounted on the container (101), the catching means (14, 14'-14''') are elastically stressed.
  18. Unit (100) according to any one of Claims 14 to 17, characterized in that the applicator member (109) is secured, via a connecting element (108), to a member (107) for grasping, the said member (107) for grasping forming an element able removably to plug the said opening (105).
  19. Unit (100) according to any one of Claims 14 to 18, characterized in that the applicator member (109) consists of an applicator for the eyelashes or eyebrows, particularly in the form of a twisted or moulded brush, of an eyeliner, of a brush of the paintbrush type, of a block of foam, of a frit, of a pen or of a felt.
