Abstract

The present invention relates to tobacco products comprising particles having similar properties of real cloves. Said particles have the ability to generate the desirable crackling sound and odour similar to that of natural cloves during smoking. The particles are made of a carbohydrate matrix having disposed therein a plurality of droplets of a crackling agent.
