Abstract
Zwischen dem Werkzeug und einem geraden Jointstein (25) wird eine Radialzustellbewegung vorgenommen, dessen wirksamer Jointbereich länger ist als die Schneide (9). Damit die Schneide (9) bei geringem Verschleiß des Jointsteines (25) optimal gejointet werden kann, wird zwischen dem Jointstein (25) und der Schneide (9) während des Jointvorgangs in Längsrichtung der Schneide (9) wenigstens ein Relativhub ausgeführt, der kleiner ist als die Länge der Schneide (9). Bei diesem Verfahren findet während des Jointvorganges in einer Längsrichtung der Schneide (9) eine axiale Relativbewegung zwischen dem Jointstein (25) und der Schneide (9) statt. Dieser Hub ist kleiner als die Länge der Schneide (9). Durch diese Hubbewegung wird eine Riefenbildung an der Schneide (9) des Schneidmessers (3) vermieden. Außerdem ist der Verschleiß des Jointsteins (25) gering, da immer eine sehr große Fläche des Jointsteines (25) im Eingriff ist. Mit dem Verfahren wird eine mikroskopisch glatte Schneide (9) erhalten, die zu einer hohen Oberflächenqualität des bearbeiteten Werkstückes führt. A microscopically smooth cutting edge (9) is obtained with the method, which leads to a high surface quality of the machined workpiece.
