Abstract

Bei diesem Verfahren findet während des Jointvorganges in einer Längsrichtung der Schneide (9) eine axiale Relativbewegung zwischen dem Jointstein (25) und der Schneide (9) statt. Dieser Hub ist kleiner als die Länge der Schneide (9). Durch diese Hubbewegung wird eine Riefenbildung an der Schneide (9) des Schneidmessers (3) vermieden. Außerdem ist der Verschleiß des Jointsteins (25) gering, da immer eine sehr große Fläche des Jointsteines (25) im Eingriff ist. Mit dem Verfahren wird eine mikroskopisch glatte Schneide (9) erhalten, die zu einer hohen Oberflächenqualität des bearbeiteten Werkstückes führt.
