Description

  • The invention relates to a machine for producing a fibrous web, in particular a tissue or tissue paper web, comprising at least one shoe press comprising a drying cylinder and a shoe press unit for forming a press nip extended in the web running direction, the fibrous web being guided together with a water-permeable endless carrier tape through the extended press nip and the carrier tape in the web running direction in front of the shoe press together with the fibrous web, is guided over at least one evacuated device, wherein the carrier tape between the fibrous web and the evacuated device is located, and wherein the evacuated means is associated with a pressurized hood to the negative pressure effect of to assist evacuated facility. It further relates to a method according to the preamble of claim 16.
  • A machine of the type mentioned is described in US 6,083,349.
  • US 6,083,349 discloses a machine for making tissue paper having a press nip formed between a shoe press unit and a dryer cylinder. According to this document, the shoe press unit is surrounded in sections by a steam blower box, which is assigned in sections a suction box.
  • In a tissue machine known from WO 97/03247, instead of a shoe press, a relatively large, complex TAD unit is provided (TAD = Through Air Drying).
  • WO 99/10597 shows a tissue paper machine with a suction press roll with associated overpressure hood. The machine shown in this document has no shoe press.
  • The aim of the invention is to provide an improved device and an improved method of the type mentioned, with which the dry content of the tissue web both volume-saving and cost-effectively increased and, accordingly, the production of tissue can be made more economical.
  • With regard to the machine, this object is achieved in that is provided as the overpressure fluid for the hood superheated steam and / or dry hot air.
  • By standing under pressure hood, which may in particular be a smaller hood, the negative pressure effect of the evacuated device is supported, which improves the running ability of the tissue web, especially at higher speeds. Thus, such a hood is particularly advantageous where the speeds are greater than about 1800 m / min, preferably greater than about 2000 m / min and in particular greater than about 2200 m / min.
  • The heating of the fibrous web caused by the overpressure fluid contributes substantially to the increase of the dewatering performance in the following extended press nip. The steam and the dry hot air also intensify the drying in the area of the evacuated device.
  • Preferably, the evacuated means comprises a suction roll.
  • It is advantageous if a suction element is additionally provided between the evacuated device and the shoe press. As a result, the dry content is further increased, as is prevented by this additional suction element caused by the capillary backflow of water from the carrier tape in the tissue web. This suction element may in particular comprise a suction box.
  • The shoe press unit advantageously has at least transversely to the web running direction a plurality of independently controllable pressing zones.
  • In an expedient practical embodiment of the drying cylinder is provided as a tissue or Yankee drying cylinder, of which the fibrous web after drying is preferably abschabbar by means of a creping doctor.
  • It is advantageous if the carrier tape is provided in a former part for receiving the pulp suspension from a headbox.
  • The carrier tape is expediently guided as an inner band via a forming roller or the like, is guided over the at least one endless outer screen.
  • In a practical practical embodiment of the machine according to the invention as a carrier or inner band, a felt belt is provided.
  • It is thus possible in particular an embodiment as a Crescentformer with intended as a felt belt inner wire. The use of an additional, arranged between the evacuated device and the shoe press Saugelements is particularly in such an arrangement of advantage.
  • In another expedient embodiment, the carrier or inner band is a screen belt, e.g. a drainage tape provided. In this case, together with the fibrous web and the carrier belt, preferably, an endless felt belt disposed between the carrier belt and the shoe press unit is additionally guided through the extended press nip, thereby preventing marks and promoting dewatering, or even selectively, especially when the carrier web is a marking tape (imprinting wire or felt).
  • The shoe press unit is preferably provided with a water-impermeable circulating endless press belt. In this case, the Schuhpreßeinheit can be formed in particular by a shoe press roll with a preferably water-impermeable press jacket.

  • The method according to the invention is accordingly characterized in that overheated steam and / or dry hot air is used as the overpressure fluid for the hood.
  • Further advantageous embodiments of the method according to the invention are specified in the subclaims.
  • The arrangement according to the invention and the method according to the invention can be used in particular in tissue machines of various designs, e.g. for suction breast roll former, twin wire former, crescent former, wire mesh, etc. Moreover, a combination with "through air drying" concepts is advantageous.
  • The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to embodiments with reference to the drawing; in this show:

  • FIG. 1 shows, in a schematic partial view, a machine 10 designed as a crescent former for producing a fibrous web 12, which may in particular be a tissue or tissue paper web.
  • In this case, an endless inner or carrier tape 16 and an endless outer wire 18 are guided over a region of a so-called forming roller 14 together. As can be seen from FIG. 1, the wrap angle with respect to the outer screen 18 is smaller than that with respect to the inner carrier strip 16.
  • In the inlet gap 20 formed between the carrier tape 16 and the outer wire 18 is introduced by means of a headbox 22, the pulp suspension. The thereby forming fibrous web 12 is supplied to the wrapping region of the forming roller 14 together with the carrier tape 16 a lengthened in the web running direction L press nip 24.
  • Before reaching the extended press nip 24, the fibrous web 12 carrying carrier tape 16 wraps around here designed as a suction roller 26 evacuated device. The suction roll 26 removes a substantial portion of the water from the carrier belt 16 and possibly even somewhat from the outer fibrous web 12.
  • In the present embodiment, the carrier tape 16 is provided as a felt belt.
  • By the suction roller 26, the water absorption capacity of the carrier tape 16 is increased, so that it in the following extended press nip 24, through which it runs together with the fibrous web 12, can absorb the squeezed out water.
  • The negative pressure effect of this suction roller 26 is supported by a suction roller 26 associated, under pressure hood 28. As a rule, a small hood is sufficient. In the present case, the carrier tape 16 is guided together with the fibrous web 12 on the suction roller 26, wherein the fibrous web 12 is on the outside.
  • As overpressure fluid for the hood 28 superheated steam and / or dry hot air is provided.
  • By this arrangement, the drainage is intensified so that you can make do with only one press nip 24.
  • The shoe press 30 forming the extended press nip 24 comprises a drying cylinder 32 serving as a tissue or Yankee drying cylinder and a shoe pressing unit 34 having at least one press shoe 36 and a continuous endless press belt 38 guided over it. In the present case, the shoe press unit 34 is provided with a shoe press roll a flexible, preferably water-impermeable press jacket 38 is formed.
  • The press shoe 36 has an at least substantially concave contact surface 40. The contact pressure can be effected, for example, hydraulically. The region between the flexible press jacket 38 and the press shoe 36 can be lubricated in particular hydrostatically and / or hydrodynamically.
  • The shoe press unit 34 preferably has transversely to the web running direction L a plurality of independently controllable pressing zones, whereby a Adaptation to the deflection of the drying cylinder 32 and the setting of a desired pressing pressure profile transverse to the web running direction L is possible.

  • After the extended press nip 24, the fibrous web 12 runs along the heated drying cylinder 32. The drying is reinforced in this looping area by a drying hood 42, the hot, dry air blows on the fibrous web 12 and sucks again.
  • After drying, the fibrous web 12 is removed by a creping doctor 44 from the drying cylinder 32. The creped fibrous web 12 can subsequently be further processed and wound up.
  • In the present case, an additional suction element is provided between the suction roller 26 and the shoe press 30, which may be formed for example by a suction box 46 or the like. By this additional suction box 46, the dry content is further increased because it prevents the capillary caused by the backflow of water from the carrier tape 16 into the fibrous web 12.
  • FIG. 2 shows, in a schematic partial representation, a further embodiment of a machine 10 for producing a fibrous web 12, in which again, it may be a tissue or tissue paper web.
  • This embodiment differs from that according to FIG. 1 firstly in that, as the carrier or inner band 16, instead of a felt belt, a screen belt, e.g. a drainage tape is provided. In this case, together with the fibrous web 12 and the carrier tape 16, an endless felt belt 48 arranged between the carrier belt 16 and the shoe press unit 34 is additionally guided through the extended press nip 24 in order to prevent marks and to promote dewatering, or else to be generated selectively. especially if the carrier tape is an imprinting wire or felt.
  • The additional suction element 46 provided in the embodiment according to FIG. 1 between the suction roll 26 and the shoe press 30 has been omitted in the present case.

Claims (30)

  1. Machine (10) for making a fibrous web (12), in particular a tissue or hygienic paper web, having at least one shoe press (30) comprising a drying cylinder (32) and a shoe press unit (34) for forming a press nip (24) extended in the web running direction (L), the fibrous web (12), together with a water-permeable endless carrier belt (16), being led through the extended press nip (24) and, before the shoe press (30) in the web running direction (L), the carrier belt (16) being led over at least one evacuated device (26) together with the fibrous web (12), the carrier belt (16) being located between the fibrous web (12) and the evacuated device (26), and the evacuated device (26) being assigned a hood (28) that is under a positive pressure in order to assist the vacuum action of the evacuated device (26), characterized in that the positive pressure fluid provided for the hood (28) is superheated steam and/or dry hot air.
  2. Machine according to Claim 1, characterized in that the evacuated device (26) comprises a suction roll (26).
  3. Machine according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a suction element (46) is provided between the evacuated device (26) and the shoe press (30).
  4. Machine according to Claim 3, characterized in that the suction element comprises a suction box (46).
  5. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, at least transversely with respect to the web running direction (L), the shoe press unit (34) has a plurality of pressing zones that can be activated independently of one another.
  6. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the drying cylinder (32) is provided as a tissue or Yankee drying cylinder, from which the fibrous web (12) can be doctored off, preferably by means of a creping doctor (44), after drying has been carried out.
  7. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the carrier belt (16) is provided in a former part to pick up the fibrous stock suspension from a headbox (22).
  8. Machine according to Claim 7, characterized in that the carrier belt (16) is led as an inner belt over a forming roll (14), over which an endless outer fabric (18) is additionally led.
  9. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the carrier or inner belt (16) provided is a felt belt.
  10. Machine according to one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the carrier or inner belt (16) provided is a wire mesh belt.
  11. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the carrier or inner belt (16) provided is a dewatering belt.
  12. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the carrier or inner belt (16) provided is a marking belt.
  13. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, together with the fibrous web (12) and the carrier belt (16), an endless felt belt (48) arranged between the carrier belt (16) and the shoe press unit (34) is additionally led through the extended press nip (24).
  14. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the shoe press unit (34) is provided with a water-impermeable circulating endless press belt (38).
  15. Machine according to one of Claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the shoe press unit (34) is formed by a shoe press roll having a preferably water-impermeable press cover (38).
  16. Process for making a fibrous web (12), in particular a tissue or hygienic paper web, in which the fibrous web (12), together with a water-permeable endless carrier belt (16), is led through at least one extended press nip (24) of a shoe press (30) comprising a drying cylinder (32) and a shoe press unit (34) and, before the shoe press (30) in the web running direction (L), the carrier belt (16) is led over at least one evacuated device (26) together with the fibrous web (12), the carrier belt (16) being located between the fibrous web (12) and the evacuated device (26), and the vacuum action of the evacuated device (26) being assisted by a hood (28) that is under a positive pressure and is assigned to the evacuated device (26), characterized in that the positive pressure fluid used for the hood (28) is superheated steam and/or dry hot air.
  17. Process according to Claim 16, characterized in that the evacuated device (26) used is a suction roll (26).
