Description
Fertigteilwände oder Schiebetüren schließen den Bereich vom übrigen Badezimmer ab.The invention relates to a floor element of a shower Collecting and draining water. There are shower trays and Known shower cups, which are made of enamelled sheet steel or are made of plastic. Mostly these shower trays or Shower cups raised opposite the floor of a bathroom built-in. Precast walls or sliding doors close the Area from the rest of the bathroom.
It is much more expedient, no permanent separation of the areas and especially the floor in to continue the area of the shower so that this area too can be committed without difficulty as long as is not showered - for example around a window in the shower area to open or close or to do laundry to hang up there at short notice. From these facts, that a continuation of the floor also in the shower area is appropriate. To do this, drag below one Floor tiling an insulating layer (plastic film, Lead foil), which is tightly connected to the drain.
From US 6 014 780 A it is known the floor area paving a shower with tile-like stone slabs and inclined towards the wall according to a desk level to arrange. A slot is provided on the wall, through which the water across the entire width of the floor area runs down.
The invention aims to be a floor element as a shower panel to create a shower that is largely stepless in the bathroom floor or the floor of a subsequent one Surface can be built. Such a floor element is characterized in that as a one-piece level, horizontal, especially in a continuous continuation of a subsequent one Stone slab to be installed in the floor is formed, the depressions in the surface, such as grooves in particular has, which open into a drain. It is advisable if the depth of the grooves starts from the edge of the stone slab increases towards a drain. A horizontal floor is running also horizontally in the shower area, only the Grooves spaced from each other, for example 10 mm are used for the purpose of water drainage. The production of such a shower plate is simple because e.g. of a polished stone slab, e.g. in the size 90 x 90 cm and 4 cm thickness starting with just grinding in grooves. To one uses a linear guide for a grinding wheel and places the stone slab slightly opposite this sloping if the grooves are inclined towards the drain should. The width of the grooves can also be towards the drain lose weight. This is a capillary effect with correspondingly narrow grooves achievable, which leads to water moved towards the drain even with a horizontal groove bottom. This principle can also be applied to inclined grooves become. It is useful if the drain is in the middle the preferably square stone slab and if the depressions, in particular grooves, are radial or aligned in a star shape towards the edges of the stone slab are. The usual drain fittings can be used. Of course, the drain can also be in a corner area of the Shower plate. The grooves are then correspondingly longer and possibly lower, or their slope at the bottom of the groove less. Gradients of 2% are used for draining water considered sufficient. However, incoming water flows also from when the grooves or the depressions are horizontal to Run down the drain. This is because the grooves or depressions beyond the edge of the stone slab and the incoming water in the recess or groove can only run in one direction. To convert from incoming water or splash water over the shower plate It is also advisable to prevent the stone slab has a circumferential groove on the edge, of which the Wells, especially grooves, preferably go out run towards the drain with increasing depth. The grooves can have a width of 2 to 10 mm and the depth can be 5 to 10 mm. The narrower a groove, the stronger a capillary effect affects the residual water. The The arrangement of the grooves can be star-shaped. Because the grooves are additional for water drainage still a sliding safety for ensure the person in the shower it is beneficial if the grooves are roughly aligned from the edge to the drain are and if preferably radial connections between the turns of the spiral are provided. It was primarily the use of the invention Shower plate described in the bathroom area. At this However, it should be noted that the shower plate for garden showers, e.g. within a lawn, very advantageous can be used. This prevents the Shower area is softened on the floor. Are shower cups probably out of place in the garden. Straight one-piece stone slabs in the different natural tints are excellent in the garden. If there is no drain, then it is usually sufficient to dig a pit under the shower plate, to fill them with stones and the invention Place the shower plate over it like a lid. Even if the shower plate is a flat, horizontal stone plate should be provided steplessly in the floor, it is natural possible, an upright frame on the edge as Form splash guard. However, this is not the real thing Aim of the invention. Still offers in this case too the horizontal floor area of such a shower floor structure already advantages over the usual prefabricated shower trays.
