Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung aus einer Kombination einer Badewanne mit einer Duschwanne, nach dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.
Da in vielen Badezimmern kein Platz für eine Dusche und eine Badewanne vorhanden ist, werden schon seit einiger Zeit Badewannen mit Duschvorrichtungen kombiniert. Bei einer sehr einfachen und daher äusserst verbreiteten Lösung wird die herkömmliche Badewanne mit einem Duschvorhang oder einer zusammenklappbaren Duschkabine ausgerüstet. Als Duschvorrichtung wird in diesem Fall eine Handdusche, welche an einem Duschbrausenhalter befestigt werden kann, vorgesehen.
Bekannt sind aber auch spezielle Ausformungen der Badewanne im Duschbereich, insbesondere ihres Bodens, sei es am Fussende (DE 35 09 732) oder im Zentrum (PCT/EP 89/01593). Das Fussende einer normalen Badewanne ist bekanntlich durch eine relativ steile Innenwand gekennzeichnet, während letztere im Sitzbereich weniger steil ist, sodass man sich mit dem Rücken bequem anlehnen kann; der Ablauf der Badewanne ist normalerweise im Fussbereich vorgesehen.
Derartige Kombinationen von Duschen mit Badewannen haben indessen den Nachteil, dass der Benutzer zum Duschen über den relativ hohen Rand der Badewanne steigen muss, was nicht nur beschwerlich, sondern für ältere oder behinderte Personen auch gefährlich ist.
Daher wurde schon vorgeschlagen (DE 195 03 514), in der Seitenwand der Badewanne eine Auslassung vorzusehen, welche den Einstieg im Duschbereich erleichtert und zum Zwecke eines Vollbades mittels eines einsetzbaren Wandteils verschliessbar ist. Allerdings ist hier mit erheblichen Dichtungsproblemen zu rechnen. Zudem ist eine speziell konstruierte, relativ komplizierte Badewanne nötig.
In der DE 32 42 574 wird dagegen eine nach unten schwenkbare Duschwanne vorgeschlagen, welche auf eine vorhandene Badewanne zu liegen kommt. Somit erhöht sich der Einstieg in die Duschwanne um die Höhe der Badewanne, was einen Schemel oder eine Treppe erfordert.
Eine Vorrichtung der im Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1 genannten Art ist aus der DE-U1-89 15 216 bekannt. Bei dieser Vorrichtung ist die Badewanne mittels einer speziellen Halterung in ihrer vertikalen Position zum Duschen und in ihrer horizontalen Position zum Baden am Boden abgestützt. Die Halterung befindet sich unmittelbar neben der Duschwanne.
Die vorliegende Erfindung stellt sich nun die Aufgabe, eine Vorrichtung der genannten Art zu schaffen, welche die erwähnten Nachteile bisher üblicher Kombinationen nicht aufweist.
Diese Aufgabe wird mit Hilfe der erfindungsgemässen Ausbildungsmerkmale des Patentanspruchs 1 gelöst. Bevorzugte Weiterbildungen der Erfindung sind Gegenstand der abhängigen Ansprüche.
Die Vorrichtung weist die Kombination einer Badewanne mit einer Duschwanne auf, welche beide mit je einem Ablauf bzw. mit einer entsprechenden Öffnung versehen sind. Die Stirnwand der Badewanne ist auf der Ablaufseite, also auf der in Sitzrichtung vorderen Seite (= Fussseite), vorzugsweise steiler ausgestaltet als auf der zum Sitzen vorgesehenen Gegenseite (= Rückenseite). Zudem ist ein Zulauf für die Badewanne sowie eine in der Höhe verstellbare Brause mit den entsprechenden Installationen für die Duschwanne vorhanden. Die Vorrichtung weist einen Kipp- und Hebemechanismus zur Überführung der Badewanne von der Lage B (B = Baden) in die Lage D (D = Duschen) und umgekehrt auf. Der Kipp- und Hebemechanismus weist Verschalungen mit Spurrillen auf, die im eingebauten Zustand der Vorrichtung an einer an der Duschwanne anschliessenden Wand angeordnet sind und dass die Badewanne an ihrer Unterseite Räder aufweist, die bei einer Überführung der Badewanne von der Lage B in die Lage D und umgekehrt auf dem Rand der Duschwanne und in den Spurrillen an der Wand laufen.
Die Badewanne kann durch den Kipp- und Hebemechanismus sowie eine Kraft leicht von der Lage D in die Lage B und umgekehrt gebracht werden. Als Kraftquelle dient dabei vorzugsweise ein Elektromotor. Die Badewanne bzw. deren Kipp- und Hebemechanismus kann dabei wenigstens in der Lage D mittels eines geeigneten Mechanismus arretiert werden.
Als bevorzugte Position(en) der Badewanne kommt diese in der Lage D derart an der Wand des Badezimmers zu stehen, dass ihre Öffnung gegen das Zimmerinnere hin weist und ihr Ablauf bzw. die steilere Wannenwand nach unten zu liegen kommen.
Für den Kipp- und Hebemechanismus wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Kraft vom Motor auf eine Antriebswelle übertragen wird. Diese Antriebswelle überträgt die Kraft mittels Drehumlenkungen auf zwei Spindeln. Auf diesen Spindeln sitzt je eine, mit einem Innenzahn versehene Muffe. Die beiden Muffen tragen in der Mitte eine Zugstange, die ihrerseits mit der Badewanne verbunden ist. Bei einer Drehung der Spindeln wird somit die Badewanne in die Höhe gehoben oder abgesenkt.
Auf beiden Seiten der Badewanne sind ferner unterschiedlich grosse Abdeckungen ähnlich den Seitenwänden einer Duschkabine vorgesehen, welche einerseits als Spritzwasserschutz dienen, aber auch vermeiden, dass die Benutzer durch die Mechanik gefährdet werden. Sie üben andererseits auch eine ästhetische Funktion aus; so ist die Badewanne in der Lage D hinter der Abdeckung verborgen. Die Lücke zwischen diesen beiden Abdeckungen kann beim Duschen, und aus Sicherheitsgründen ebenfalls während dem Umschwenken der Badewanne, mittels einer Schiebetür verschlossen werden.
Die vorgeschlagene Vorrichtung aus einer Kombination einer Badewanne mit einer Duschwanne wird im folgenden anhand von Ausführungsbeispielen näher beschrieben. Sie ist unter anderem auch in den Zeichnungen dargestellt. Es zeigen:

In Fig. 1 ist eine Vorrichtung aus einer Kombination einer Badewanne 1 mit einer Duschwanne 3 dargestellt, deren nicht gezeigte Abläufe deckungsgleich angeordnet sind. An der Badewanne 1 ist zudem ein Überlauf 22 vorgesehen (vgl. Fig. 2). An allen vier unteren Ecken der Badewanne 1 sind ferner Räder 7 angebracht. Die Räder 7 sind paarweise an einer Achse 28 angebracht und weisen einen Spurkranz auf (vgl. Fig. 5). Diese Räder 7 laufen auf der Innenseite des Randes 5 der Duschwanne. Zusätzlich kann die Badewanne 1 in der Position B dadurch fixiert werden, dass die Räder 7 in eine Vertiefung 12 im Rand 5 der Duschwanne 3 geführt werden. Die Duschwanne 3 verläuft auf der ganzen Länge der Badewanne 1 auf dem Boden 4 des Badezimmers. Sie ist ebenso wie die Badewanne 1 auf der den Instal.lationen gegenüberliegenden Seite abgeschrägt.
An der Wand 2, an der die Fusseite 17 der Badewanne 1 liegt, sind der Wasserhahn 11 für die Badewanne 1 und die an der Verstellstange 9 verschiebbare Handbrause 10 für die Dusche angebracht. Der Wasserhahn 11 kann sowohl als Einhebelmischer oder als Mischbatterie ausgestaltet sein. Die Wände 2, welche die erfindungsgemässe Kombination auf drei Seiten umschliessen, werden, wie dies in Badezimmern üblich ist, mit Vorteil mit einer Wandverkleidung 8 bestehend aus Keramikfliesen ausgelegt (vgl. Fig. 4).
Die Vorrichtung weist zur Überführung der Badewanne von der lage B in die lage D und umgekehrt einen Kipp- und Hebemechanismus auf.
Die an der beidseitig mit einem Gelenk versehenen Zugstange 16 befestigte Badewanne 1 wird dadurch angehoben, dass sich die Muffen 14 bei Drehung der Spindeln 15 nach oben verschieben. Die Zugstange 16 ist an der zwischen den beiden Muffen 14 befestigten Querstange 20 befestigt (vgl. Fig. 2). Die Spindeln 15 werden vom Motor 13, der in einer Auslassung 19 unter der Duschwanne 3 untergebracht ist, angetrieben. Die Kraft wird dabei mittels einer Drehumlenkung von einer waagrechten Antriebswelle des Motors 13 auf die Spindeln 15 übertragen. Verschalungen 25, welche sowohl der Ästhetik als auch Aspekten der Sicherheit dienen, sind an der Wand 2 angebracht. Damit die Querstange 20, welche die Badewanne 1 mittels der Zugstange 16 in die Höhe hebt, bewegt werden kann, ist je ein Schlitz 26 auf der ganzen Höhe der Verschalungen 25 vorgesehen. Die Räder 7 der Badewanne 1 laufen dabei in Spurrillen 6 auf den Verschalungen 25. Ebenfalls in Figur 2 sind die zwei unterschiedlich grossen Abdeckungen 23 in Form einer transparenten Trennwand, vorzugsweise aus Kunststoff, die der Seitenwand einer herkömmlichen Duschkabine ähnlich sind, und die aus gleichem Material hergestellte Schiebetür 24 dargestellt (vgl. auch Fig. 4).
Eine zweite, nicht gezeigte Variante des Kipp- und Hebemechanismus ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kraft über einen Seil- bzw. Kettenzug ausgeübt wird, welcher vom Angriffspunkt an der Wanne über eine oben an der Wand angebrachte Umlenkrolle zum mit einer Seilwinde ausgestatteten Elektromotor führt.
Die verschiedenen Phasen beim Umstellen von der Lage B zur Lage D, das heisst während des Anhebens der Badewanne von der horizontalen in die senkrechte Lage, sind schematisch in Figur 3 dargestellt. Zusätzlich stellt Figur 2 eine Aufsicht auf die Badewanne im angehobenen Zustand dar. Bei angehobener Badewanne laufen die Räder 7 in einer Spurrille 6 in den Verschalungen 25 der Spindeln 15.
Dabei ist das Anheben und das Senken der Badewanne 1 aus Sicherheitsgründen nur bei geschlossener Schiebetür 24 möglich. Wenn die Schiebetür 24 geschlossen ist, wird ein Kontakt 27 in der Abdeckung 23 ausgelöst (vgl. Fig. 4). Zudem ist im Motor 13 vorzugsweise eine Überlastsicherung vorgesehen, die Wanne 1 kann somit nicht angehoben werden, wenn sich ein Gewicht in der Wanne 1 befindet. Somit kann verhindert werden, dass die Wanne 1 angehoben wird, wenn sich eine Person oder Wasser in der Wanne 1 befindet.
Schliesslich ist auch eine hier nicht gezeigte Ausführungsform denkbar, bei welcher die Vorrichtung aus einer Kombination einer Badewanne mit einer Duschwanne nicht von drei Wänden umgeben ist, sondern in der Ecke eines grösseren Badezimmers steht. Die Installationen wie Einlauf und Duschbrause sind dann an der Wand an der Längsseite der Badewanne angebracht, an der Fussseite der Badewanne wird eine zusätzliche Abdeckung in Form einer Seitenwand vorgesehen. Somit kann in diesem Badezimmer Platz für weitere sanitäre Einrichtungen wie zum Beispiel ein Bidet geschaffen werden.
Die vorgeschlagene Vorrichtung weist gegenüber den bisher verwendeten Kombinationen erhebliche Vorteile auf:
Durch eine konsequente Trennung von Badewanne und Duschwanne sowie der Überlagerung der Badewanne auf die Duschwanne wird einerseits der Rand der Duschwanne gleich niedrig wie bei einer separaten Duschwanne gehalten und andererseits der Rand der Badewanne nur unwesentlich erhöht. Dadurch werden beide Teile äusserst benutzerfreundlich gestaltet, insbesondere für ältere oder behinderte Personen. Indem die Badewanne mit ein Kipp- und Hebemechanismus und einem Elektromotor auf einfache und sehr sichere Art und Weise umgeschwenkt und hochkant an die Wand gestellt werden kann, benötigt die Kombination kaum mehr Platz als eine herkömmliche Badewanne alleine und schafft dadurch in demselben Raumabteil zusätzlich eine vollwertige Duschmöglichkeit. Diese Vorteilskombination weist keine der bekannten Kombinationen von Badewanne und Dusche auf.

Claims (8)

  1. Vorrichtung aus einer Kombination einer Badewanne (1) mit einer Duschwanne (3), wobei die Badewanne (1) in der Lage B beim Baden über der Duschwanne (3) positioniert ist und in der Lage D beim Duschen unter Freigabe zumindest eines Teils der Duschwanne (3) senkrecht auf einer Seite steht, und wobei die Vorrichtung einen Kipp- und Hebemechanismus (14, 15, 16, 20) zur Überführung der Badewanne (1) von der Lage B in die Lage D und umgekehrt aufiveist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kipp- und Hebemechanismus Verschalungen (25) mit Spurrillen (6) aufweist, die im eingebauten Zustand der Vorrichtung an einer an der Duschwanne (3) anschließenden Wand (2) angeordnet sind und dass die Badewanne (1) an ihrer Unterseite vier Räder (7) aufweist, die bei einer Überführung der Badewanne (1) von der Lage B in die Lage D und umgekehrt auf dem Rand (5) der Duschwanne (3) und in den Spurrillen (6) an der Wand (2) laufen.
  2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Ablauf (29) der Badewanne (1) in der Lage B über die Duschwanne (3) zu liegen kommt.
  3. Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Badewanne (1) in der Lage D hochkant steht.
  4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Badewanne (1) in der Lage D derart an der Wand (2) zu stehen kommt, dass ihre Öffnung gegen die Duschwanne (3) hin weist und ihre steilere Wannenwand (17) nach unten zu liegen kommt.
  5. Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kipp- und Hebemechanismus (14, 15, 16, 20) einen Motor (13) aufweist, dessen Antriebswelle die Kraft über zwei Spindeln (15) auf eine auf jeder Spindel (15) sitzende Muffe (14) überträgt, wobei die beiden Muffen (14) mittels einer Querstange (20) in der Mitte eine mit der Badewanne (1) verbundene Zugstange (16) tragen.
  6. Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf beiden Seiten der Badewanne (1) vorzugsweise unterschiedlich große Abdeckungen (23) ähnlich den Seitenwänden einer Duschkabine vorgesehen sind, wobei die zur Wand (2) hin weisende Abdeckung (23) derart bemessen ist, dass die Badewanne (1) in der Lage D dahinter verborgen ist.
  7. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Lücke zwischen den Abdeckungen (23) mittels einer Tür, vorzugsweise einer Schiebetür (24), verschlossen ist.
