Definitions
- the invention relates to an orthopedic shoe insert with a Upper cover layer and a lower cover layer, which cover layers one Include support core, with the top and bottom layers project over the support core in an edge region and with one another in the edge region are connected.
- Such a shoe insert is known from DE-PS 44 37 282. According to this Publication runs the production of the known shoe insert such that as Pre-cuts designated cover layers together with a support core forming molded part are preheated, preferably adhesive-free, after which these parts are put together. The bottom cover layer is therefore preferably provided with adhesive. Another method of connecting the the top layer is not mentioned in the document.
- the invention has for its object to design the shoe insert so that it can be produced with a much simplified process and thereby receives a special inner stability. According to the invention, this is done by that both the top and bottom layers and the support core consist of a thermoplastic material, the melting point of the three Components of the shoe insert, support core and top and bottom cover layer, one has approximately the same value and these components by pressing and Forming permanently by melting the touching surfaces are interconnected.
- the shoe insert according to the invention there is a firm bond of both Upper cover layer with the support core and the lower cover layer with the Support core and the edge areas of the The top cover layer and the bottom cover layer in front, by a kind of welding of the contacting surfaces is brought about, with the addition of Support core its final therapeutically required shape by pressing and the shaping, so that the shoe insert in one Process step with permanent connection of its three components and this Forming arose.
- the shoe insert is the result of one Step, with which the undeformed loosely laid in a mold Components of the shoe insert are pressed, at the same time by the Melting the touching surfaces the permanent inner connection of the components and, through the accompanying shaping, the final one Shape of the shoe insert is brought about.
- the top layer with a skin-friendly layer is advantageous provided what leather, synthetic leather, plastic, or the like used can be.
- a homogeneous material e.g. a flattened plastic plate at the edges, use.
- the support core by two superimposed Form plates, each of which is a flowed bulk material acts.
- a fine plastic granulate can be considered Heating dissipates and forms a plate after cooling.
- the lower plate essentially forms the support part of the shoe insert, the then finally the desired shape by molding and pressing with regard to the necessary therapeutic design.
- the top and bottom layers are made of a two-layer material
- the inner layer (facing the support core) consists of a mesh that is formed by a thermoplastic fiber.
- the outer layer is there made of a thermoplastic film, the melting point of Mesh and the plastic film that of the three components, that is Upper cover layer, support core and lower cover layer corresponds.
- the fabric mesh preserves the length of the shoe insert a very considerable strength without losing rigidity, so that the shoe insert is still easy to see when walking can adjust the turning shoe.
- the fabric network also ensures that also the support core, which usually points one away from the foot Cavity forms, a high elasticity is given, because the load of the Shoe insert by the foot in this case not only from the support core alone, but is also caught by the mesh.
- Fig. 1 the shoe insert 1 is shown in perspective, from the the cover layer 2 is visible, which is known in the longitudinal edge areas 3 and 4 is slightly arched.
- the shoe insert 1 contains the by Dashed line indicated support core 5, in the sense of the above Formation of two plates contains the lower part 6, which has a lower longitudinal and Has transverse expansion as the entire support core 5, so that the Support force of the lower part 6 in particular on the longitudinal arch of the foot affects.
- the shoe insert shown in FIG. 1 normally ends at the edge 7 at the level of the midfoot. But it is also possible to insert the shoe insert 1 in this way shape that it extends over the entire foot, which by the Front lobe 8 with dash-dotted outline is indicated. In this Area 8, the shoe insert consists only of the connection of the two above mentioned cover layers (see Fig. 2) without a in this area Support force is exerted and therefore the support core only on the rear Area of the shoe insert is concentrated.
- Fig. 2 shows the shoe insert 1 shown in Fig. 1 in longitudinal section.
- the Shoe insert 1 has the top cover layer 9 and the bottom cover layer 10, between which the support core 5 with the lower part 6 below is included.
- These three components of the shoe insert namely Upper cover layer 9, lower cover layer 10 and support core 5/6 are through Melting and pressing the surfaces firmly together as they consist of thermoplastic material, the melting point of all Components of this shoe insert is approximately the same value.
- the Blanks that make up the top cover layer 9, bottom cover layer 10 and support core 5/6 are formed in a heating oven in a manner placed on top of each other, which corresponds to their final position, and in the heating furnace heated so far that the facing surfaces melt.
- FIG. 3 shows the detail represented by the circle 11 according to FIG. 2 in FIG reproduced enlarged representation.
- the top cover layer 9 and the bottom cover layer 10 each consist of one
- the Fabric nets 12 and 13 consist of a thermoplastic synthetic fiber has about the same melting point as the other components of the Shoe insert.
- the two-layer material is covered by one thermoplastic film 14 or 15 covered, the melting point also corresponds to that of the other components of the shoe insert.
- the fabric net 12 or 13 is the plastic insert while maintaining it Bending rigidity given a high resistance to elongation, with what especially in the longitudinal edge strips of the shoe insert, the more or less are pulled up high, a high elasticity is given.
- FIG. 4 is a plan view of the shoe insert, in which the Bottom piece 6 has a slightly different edge shape than the bottom piece 6 according to FIG. 1. This is a deliberate adaptation to a specific one Indication for the treatment of a foot.
- FIG. 4 also shows the fabric network 12 shown in FIG. 3 shown, concentrated for the sake of simplifying the presentation on the middle area of the shoe insert and the area of the heel and the Forefoot.
- the mesh is represented by dashed, intersecting lines indicated.
- the fabric network extends over the entire area of the Upper cover layer and the lower cover layer (see Figure 3).
