Description

TECHNICAL FIELD
Industrial production for furnishing.
EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention comes from the necessity of being able to use the room which has not been used till now or which is accessible with difficulty, which is over the heights within which we operate every day.
Compared with the whole living space provided by flats, the portion which can be really used by the people who live there usually consists of two metres or less from the floor. This product is developed in order to use the remaining room (therefore, over two metres) without modifying the space below: the reference high for the placement of the wall cupboard with the self-moving shelves is the one of the doors of the flats themselves.
US-A-3 534 935 discloses a storage or display unit in which at least one sliding member is mounted for vertical movement along a guide means.
GB-A-2 285 911 discloses a wall mountable support and a storage receptacle with a carrier attachable to an object to be supported, said carrier being linked to the chassis to allow substantially linear movement of the carrier with respect to the chassis.
The practical development of the invention avails itself of the use of a sliding device which is composed of a track and of a shelf slide.
The guide track has got a counterweight inside, which is connected to the shelf slide in order to make shiftings easier.
The movable shelves which are inside the wall cupboard, when removed, can be easily driven till the end of the possible travel in order to reach in a practical and fast way a height which permits the best accessibility and, as a result, the best utilization and then to be put again in the initial position.
The security lock which keeps the shelves locked in the two positions of stroke-end (and therefore shelves in the upper part and shelves in the lower part) is managed by the hold system (handle) with which the shelves themselves are moved. The inside volume of the cupboard, thanks to the vertical translation, becomes accessible volume.
The representation of the drawings of the wall cupboard, obtained thanks to the computer graphics, is shown in the enclosed FIG. 1, FIG. 2, FIG. 3, FIG. 4, FIG. 5, FIG. 6, FIG. 7 and FIG. 8.
It can be useful in every room which is inhabited or which has got a commercial activity of different kinds.
In the house, it can be put in the entrance or in the hall, as a wardrobe and a store-room.
Its best usage is in the kitchen: in fact this room is usually full of voluminous things, such as pots, so it requires the maximum exploitation of all spaces and this can be made in a complete and easy way thanks to this wall cupboard. The same function can be made in the bathroom. Outside the house, its usage is always the one of a system for the storage of things which must have a precise disposition and, in the meantime, an easy and comfortable position to guarantee their reaching without any effort.
Any room which has the necessity "to order" and to make more rational its space can use this cupboard
BEST MODE FOR CARRYNG OUT THE INVENTION
According to the existing industrial procedures, the practical development of this invention finds the best compromise (between economy, speed and quality of production) in the usage of extrudates of aluminum for the creation of the frames, of the slide and of the track for the shelves, because of its general and aesthetic features (lightness, rigidity, resistance to oxidation, etc.); in the usage of laminated plastics for the walls of the shelves and of the external box because of their lightness and chromatic variety; in the usage of plastic materials for the little pieces, besides the usage of the usual commercial things such as screws, etc.

Claims (2)

Cupboard equipped with a sliding device assembled inside the cupboard itself for permitting access to volumes of room which are not normally used, the sliding device being composed of a guide track and a shelf slidable on the guide track, the vertical sliding of the shelf being facilitated by the action of a counterweight which is inside the guide track and connected to the shelf, characterized in that a single guide track is used, which is located centrally at the rear wall of the cupboard.
  2. Cupboard according claim 1, characterized in that the shelf comprises an integrated handle system, said integrated handle system comprising a permanent security lock and a system of stop in the superior and inferior end-travel points of the shelf.
