The movement consists essentially of a gear train 24 for the movement of hands 25 and an electronic block 26 on the one hand the drive control and on the other hand, the reception and decoding of the encoded time information for periodic control and, if necessary, correction of the pointer position. Deshalb ist durch Zwischenlage des Distanzringes 20 zwischen dem metallenen Uhrgehäuse 12 und dem mit der Antenne 28 ausgestatteten Uhrwerk 22 sichergestellt, daß der Ferritkern 29 einen hinreichenden radialen Abstand vom Innern des metallenen Gehäuses 12 einhält, der Innenwandung gegenüber also zum Zentrum des Uhrgehäuses 12 hin versetzt ist. In dieser Ebene quer zur Zentralachse 31 der Funkarmbanduhr 11, also auch ihres Uhrwerks 22 und ihres Gehäuses 12, würden zwar an sich keine magnetischen Feldlinien, welche die Gläser 18, 16 parallel zur Zentralachse 31 durchsetzen, in den Kern 29 eintreten können; weil aber diese Feldlinien die Funkarmbanduhr 11 nicht ungestört durchsetzen, sondern durch Metallteile im Räderwerk 24 und durch das umgebenden metallenen Gehäuse-Mittelteil 13 in ihrer Ausbreitung verzerrt werden, tritt auch ein fur den Langwellenempfang hinreichender magnetischer Fluß durch den vorzugsweise lamellierten Kern 29 auf, ohne daß die Armbanduhr 11 durch eine etwa achsparallele Ausrichtung des Kernes 29 unzumutbar an Höhe gewinnen müßte.The antenna core 29 may be laminated, but at a sufficient distance from the rotating metal watch case 12 but also satisfies an inflexible prismatic, about cylindrical rod. Claims (9)

  1. A radio-controlled wristwatch (11) having a magnetic long-wave aerial (28) with aerial core (29) housed in its case (12) and a clockwork mechanism (22), wherein the case (12) comprises between its watchglass (18) and a base (16) made from electrically non-conductive material a metallic central part (13) of the case, compared to which the aerial core (29) is radially shifted in relation to the case (12) towards its centre,
    wherein a spacer ring (20) made from an electrically non-conductive material is provided between the central part (13) of the case and the clockwork mechanism (22) equipped with the aerial core (29) to guarantee an all-round radial distance from the aerial core (29) to the inner wall of the central part (13) of the case, wherein the spacer ring (20) is located in the assembly plane of the aerial core (29).
  2. A radio-controlled wristwatch according to Claim,
    characterised in that the spacer ring (20) extends from the central part (13) of the case towards the centre of the case (12).
  3. A radio-controlled wristwatch according to one of the preceding Claims,
    characterised in that the width of the spacer ring (20) - measured in the assembly plane of the aerial core (29) - is in the magnitude of 20 % to 30 % of the internal diameter of the case (12).
  4. A radio-controlled wristwatch according to one of the preceding Claims,
    characterised in that the aerial core (29) is disposed in a plane transversely to a central axis (31) of the case (12).
  5. A radio-controlled wristwatch according to one of the preceding Claims,
    characterised in that the aerial core (29) is disposed along a secant close to an outer edge of a clockwork mechanism (22).
  6. A radio-controlled wristwatch according to one of the preceding Claims,
    characterised in that the spacer ring (20) is constructed as a mechanism housing ring.
  7. A radio-controlled wristwatch according to one of the preceding Claims,
    characterised in that at least the central part (13) of the case is constructed as a thin, solid metal circlet, in particular made from stainless steel or titanium,
    or in that the central part (13) of the case is a non-metallic injection-moulded part having a metallic coating.
  8. A radio-controlled wristwatch according to one of the preceding Claims,
    characterised in that the base (16) is a ceramic or glass plate.
  9. A radio-controlled wristwatch according to one of the preceding Claims,
    characterised in that the base (16) is made from transparent or translucent electrically non-conductive material, which towards the interior of the case comprises an ornamentally or informatively designed coating (17).
