Abstract

The invention relates to a heat exchanger, in particular for the exchange of heat between gases and liquids, for example charge air or exhaust gas heat exchangers cooled with water, comprising a stack of shell-shaped heat exchanger plates (1) which are put together in mirror image and on the edge flange (2) and around them in a line Openings (3) are connected such that they include collection and distribution spaces (4) for one of the means and its horizontal flow channels (5), as well as with collection spaces (6) in which the flow channels (7) for the other means flow out.
