Abstract

Die Reisezeit (t(x;n))eines Kraftfahrzeuges (6) auf einem Streckenabschnitt (z. B. n) eines Verkehrsweges (1) ergibt sich aus der Differenz von Ausfahrtszeit zu Einfahrtszeit. Dazu werden die Kraftfahrzeuge an durch den Ort der Zufahrt bzw. der Ausfahrt bestimmten Kontrollpunkten (2 bzw. 3) des Streckenabschnittes im Verkehrsfluß individuell automatisch mittels Videokamera (4) optisch erfaßt. Die Bildinformation zu individuellen Kraftfahrzeugen wird jeweils in Bilddaten (61) umgewandelt und mit einer Zeitinformation (62) über den Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme zu einem Bilddatensatz (63) gekoppelt. Die Bilddatensätze für Zufahrt werden fortlaufend mit den Bilddatensätzen für Ausfahrt auf Übereinstimmung der Bilddaten verglichen, um bei einer festgestellten Übereinstimmung zweier Bilddatensätze aus deren Differenz der Zeitinformationen (62) die individuelle Reisezeit (t(x;n)) abzuleiten. Um den Aufwand für die dabei erforderliche Korrelationsrechnung zu minimieren, wird die Bildinformation der Videoaufnahmen jeweils in einer Bildauswerteeinheit (5) digitalisiert und auf ein signifikantes Merkmal, insbesondere das Muster des Kraftfahrzeugkennzeichens (61') reduziert.

The travel time (t (x; n)) of a motor vehicle (6) on a route section (e.g. n) of a traffic route (1) results from the difference between departure time and arrival time. For this purpose, the motor vehicles at the control points (2 or 3) of the section of the route in the traffic flow determined by the location of the entrance or exit are automatically and optically recorded by means of a video camera (4). The image information relating to individual motor vehicles is converted into image data (61) and coupled with time information (62) about the time of the recording to form an image data record (63).
