- the invention relates to a ventilation device for removing the residual air when inserting a piston into a filled cartridge with a ventilation opening running from the piston surface into the open.
- pistons are inserted into filled cartridges, it is necessary to remove the residual air between the filling material and the piston. It is known to simultaneously insert a wire between the piston and the wall of the cartridge when inserting the piston, so that the residual air is pressed out in the area of the wire when the piston is inserted. This residual air removal is very time consuming and also involves the risk that the sealing lips on the piston can be damaged.
- vent valves on the piston which are opened when the piston is inserted into the cartridge by means of a specially shaped piston push-in ram.
- This requires specially adapted press-in tappets and requires relatively narrow manufacturing tolerances for the ventilation valves.
