Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé et un dispositif permettant d'imprimer des étiquettes à la demande; c.-à-d. impression par un dispositif sur des étiquettes du format désiré de motifs choisis par l'utilisateur en agissant sur les commandes appropriées du dispositif. Comme l'invention prévoit l'utilisation d'étiquettes modulaires (11) en bande préperforée et que la taille du motif (13) est adaptée au nombre choisi de modules d'étiquettes, on peut n'utiliser qu'un type d'étiquette pour la plupart des applications, ce qui assure une réduction des coûts. L'invention se caractérise par l'adaptation de la zone d'impression (12) du motif choisi à la surface globale du nombre de modules d'étiquettes choisis. Dans la réalisation préférée de l'invention, les modules d'étiquettes sont revêtus d'un adhésif soluble dans un liquide, ce qui permet de se passer de papiers antiadhésifs spéciaux ou de couches antiadhésives et de recycler les déchets. Les étiquettes ainsi imprimées peuvent par exemple servir à l'adressage, ou au marquage des bagages.
