Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for inserting Printed products into a folded main product, at least in the a printed product designed as a folded intermediate product and then insert other print products.
- Such methods are used to print any printed matter, especially newspapers and magazines in each Desired way from different printed products together.
- a disadvantage of the known methods is the fact that the freedom in structuring a printed product are limited, so that in particular the compilation from a main product, at least one intermediate product and several supplements existing newspapers due to technical reasons conditional limits are not always in the desired structure is possible.
- the method according to the invention can be used with a wide variety of devices for the compilation of printed matter be performed.
- Main product in a pocket during insertion hold each with a plurality of pockets side by side or can be arranged one behind the other.
- the side by side and / or pockets arranged one behind the other can for example by means of a traction or other drive means along an at least partially linear path or also be moved along a curved path.
- a traction or other drive means along an at least partially linear path or also be moved along a curved path.
- the bag can also be pivoted with the traction mechanism be connected and, for example, by the action of a Perform a tilting movement.
- the bags can also be designed as elongated bags and the printed products in these bags using a gripper or slide in one conveying direction be moved.
- These elongated pockets can be pivoted or with a rotating Drum are coupled so that the rotating in the elongated pockets conveyed printed products essentially a movement along a circular or helical line or a combination of circular and helical lines.
- the invention it is possible to park and then openable products directly into the main product insert so that immediately after inserting a contact between the main product and the preliminary product is.
- a device for carrying out to make the method according to the invention particularly simple, since it is not necessary, for example, double-walled or having several nested sections Bags to use. Rather, the effort is sufficient from simple, just a single input section and pockets with only one wall.
- the opening of the intermediate product parked according to the invention or the preliminary products parked according to the invention are preferably carried out by means of a pre-fold.
- a pre-fold can the pre-fold side of the pre-product with suitable Means from the side of the Pre-product can be lifted or moved away, which ultimately it is possible to open the preliminary product.
- a bag 1 which has an interior 2 for receiving printed products and which corresponding to the positions shown in Figures 1a) -1h) about an axis perpendicular to the plane of the drawing Can perform tilting or swiveling movements.
- This tilt or Panning movements are already explained above
- Preferably generated by the pocket 1 along a Cam track is moved, in which the conveyor track a curve followed by the movement of the pocket 1; or in which the pocket 1 is pivotally connected to the conveyor track is and e.g. controlled by scenes is moved.
- the Bag can also be coupled with a rotating drum his.
- the interior 2 of the bag 1 is by a base 3 and two side walls 4, 5 bordering this base area 3, which are V-shaped to each other.
- a product holding element 6 is arranged, each at least between one and one as needed Active position causing the printed product (e.g. Fig. 1c) and a passive position (e.g. Fig.1a) can be pivoted.
- Differentiate the product holding element 6 and the pre-folding holding element 7 differs essentially in that the product holding element 6 in contrast to the pre-fold holding element 7, too Can hold back printed products without pre-fold since it is compared with the pre-fold holding element 7 in its active position extends further in the direction of the base 3.
- the main product 8 which can also be an envelope could be provided with a pre-fold 9, which is from the pre-fold holding element 7 is fixed. That side of the folded Main product 8, which has the pre-fold 9, is in the position of the right side wall 5 shown in FIG. 1a facing, while the side of the folded main product 8 facing the left side wall 4 is.
- FIG. 1b a folded, a preliminary product 11 having a preliminary fold 10 together with a supplement 12 lying next to the preliminary product 11 plugged in.
- Subproduct 11 and insert 12 then tilt together due to the inclination of the pocket 1 in the in Fig. 1c drawn position, i.e. towards the left side wall 4.
- the product holding element 6 pivoted down towards the base 3, like this is shown in Fig. 1c.
- the product holding element 6 Prevented in this position the product holding element 6 a tilting between Product holding element 6 and left side wall 4 located Print products 11, 12 and the one located there Half of the printed product 8 when the bag 1 from the in Fig. 1c position shown in the position shown in Fig. 1d is pivoted.
- the closed intermediate 14 is common with the supplement 15 in the direction of the right side wall 5 pivots where the insert 15 on the pre-fold 9 having Section of the main product 8 comes to rest.
- the pre-fold holding element 7 reversed that it is not just the pre-fold 9 of the main product 8, but also the pre-fold 13 of the pre-product 14 holds in the area of the right side wall 5 of the pocket 1.
- the pocket 1 is tilted clockwise into the position shown in Fig. 1f instead, with the product holding element 6 in its passive position is pivoted, which means that between Product holding element 6 and left side wall 4 positioned Items are released and a swivel motion in the direction the right side wall 5 can run.
- the pre-fold holding element 7 is reversed in accordance with FIG. that it is now the pre-fold 10 of the intermediate 11 restrains.
- the pre-folds 9, 10 and 13 are thus in the position shown in Fig. 1f between pre-fold holding element 7 and right side wall 5.
- the product holding element 6 is after execution of the above Swiveling movement moved into its active position, so that the no pre-fold section of the pre-product 11, the supplement 12 as well as the section without pre-fold 9 of the main product 8 between the product holding element 6 and left side wall 4 are fixed.
- the product holding element 6 could also, like 1b, remain in the passive position, if the opened state by the shown in the Gravity acting until the print product is inserted 18 remains guaranteed.
- the finished printed product shown in FIG. 1h is characterized in that in a main product 8 two adjacent intermediate products 11, 14 are arranged in the other printed products 18 or 16 and 17 inserted are. It is particularly advantageous that the insertion of the printed product 18 not immediately after insertion of the preliminary product 11, but to a later, selectable Time can be done.
- the printed product shown is of course only one embodiment from a variety of ways to comprehensively include a printed product Main product 8 and intermediate products 11, 14, further printed products 16,17,18 and supplements.
- the plugged in Printed products, inserts and intermediate products could also be very different Show sizes.
- FIG. 2 shows the sequence of a method according to the invention in a device in which there is no tilting of the pockets 1.
- the pockets 1 are corresponding to those shown in Fig. 1 Bags built up, which is why the reference numerals in an analogous manner 2, 3, 4 and 5 for the interior, the footprint, the left side wall and the right side wall can be used.
- a product holding element 19 is arranged, which each at least between one and one as needed Active position causing the printed product (e.g. Fig. 2c) and a passive position (e.g. Fig. 2b) is pivotable.
- the main product 22 is in the position shown in FIG. 2a inserted into pocket 1 and is in its closed Status.
- By moving the gripper 20 in Direction of the left side wall 4 is in its passive position located product holding element 19 of the pre-fold 21 having section of the main product 22 in the direction the left side wall 4 pivots, creating the main product 22 is opened.
- the preliminary product 24 and the insert 25 then tip in Direction of the right side wall 5, whereupon the product holding element 19 is pivoted into its active position, so that the pre-folded portion of the main product 22, the preliminary product 24 and the insert 25 between the product holding element 19 and right side wall 5 are held.
- the preliminary product 24 is in the positions according to FIG. 2c to 2f in a parking position.
- the gripper 20 pivots together with the a pre-fold 21 or 26 sections of the Main product 22 or the intermediate 27 in the direction of left side wall 4, whereby the preliminary product 27 according to FIG. 2e is opened.
- an insert 28 can be placed in the intermediate product 27 be plugged in.
- FIG a printed product produced, in which within a Main product 22 two preliminary products 24 lying next to one another and 27 come to rest, whereby between the two intermediate products 24, 27 an insert 25 is arranged.
- an insert 25 is arranged in each of the two Intermediate products 24 and 27.
- each of the two Intermediate products 24 and 27 are each a supplement 29 and 28 inserted.
- the advantage is that the insert the insert 29 into the intermediate 24 not immediately after insertion of the preliminary product 24 into the main product 22 must, but can take place at a later time.
- the pockets 1 thus pass through a plurality of positions a to h during one revolution, in which the method steps a to h according to FIG. 1 or FIG. 2 are carried out.
- the pivoting of the pockets 1 shown in FIG. 1 can be generated, for example, by the pockets 1 being firmly connected to the pulling or driving means 45, the pulling or driving means 45 in places having a, for example, hump-shaped course that deviates from the horizontal direction, so that the pockets 1 assume the positions shown in FIG. 1.
- the pivoting of the pockets 1 shown in FIG. 1 can also be produced in that the pockets 1 are pivotally attached to the traction or drive means 45 and scenes arranged along the conveyor path and acting on the pockets 1 cause pivoting. In the direction perpendicular to the conveying direction B, it is of course also possible to arrange several, for example two or three, pockets 4 next to one another and to be conveyed by the same pulling or driving means 45.
- FIG. 4 shows a schematic representation of various method steps in the implementation of the invention Method with another device, the essential Difference compared to a device according to FIG. 1 or 2 is that here elongated pockets 30, e.g. pivoted or on the circumference of a not shown, rotating drum arranged, are shown printed products located in the pockets 30 by means of also not shown gripper or slide in a Directed parallel to the fold line of the respective product become.
- Suitable grippers or sliders for production the funding movement mentioned are, for example, in the German one Patent application DE 24 47 336 described.
- Fig. 4 With the method shown in Fig. 4 is a printed product compiled, which largely the printed product corresponds, which with a method according to FIG. 1 or Fig. 2 can be produced.
- a L-shaped bracket 34 is provided, the long one Leg extends in the direction of the base 3 of the pocket 30.
- the holding plate 34 is shown in FIG. 5 in the longitudinal direction the pocket 30 several times through pivotable opening elements 35 interrupted.
- opening elements 35 serve to pre-fold one Printed product when it is conveyed in the direction of the arrow C to be detected according to FIG. 5 and from an area in front of the To guide bracket 34 behind the bracket 34. This happens for example with a pre-fold 36 Section of the intermediate 37 according to FIG. 4 when moving the Print products from the position shown in FIG. 4d into the position 4e.
- the device shown in Figures 4 and 5 is merely suitable for cutting sections of intermediate products from a To move the area in front of the holding plate 34 behind the holding plate 34.
- it is also conceivable to Creation of further structuring options including devices provide with which printed products or sections of printed products from a position behind the holding plate 34 can be moved into the area in front of the holding plate 34.
- the pre-fold 39 of the main product 31 is by means of a pivotable opening element 35 passed behind the holding plate 34 (Fig. 4a, 4b) whereby the main product 31 is opened becomes. Subsequently, the main product 31 opened 4b, a preliminary product 32 and an insert 33 are inserted. These inserted print products 32, 33 are in accordance with 4c then held behind the product holding element 38, whereupon another intermediate 37 and another Supplement 40 can be inserted into the main product 31.
- baffle plate which starting from the holding plate 34 to the opposite Wall of the elongated pocket 30 runs so that the printed products lying on the holding plate 34 during the Conveying movement shifted towards the opposite wall , and thereby an opening is created in which can insert at least one additional printed product is.
- hold-open plate By connecting to the deflector in the conveying direction arranged hold-open plate can on this plate overlay printed products over a definable length of the Funding path or over a definable length in the elongated pocket 30 are kept open. At the end the open printed products are opened Moved to the holding plate 34 due to the action of gravity.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for inserting Printed products into a folded main product, at least in the a printed product designed as a folded intermediate product and then insert other print products.
Such methods are used to print any printed matter, especially newspapers and magazines in each Desired way from different printed products together.
Such a method, or a device for Implementation of the method is, for example, from the US 5,050,851 known. The preliminary products are either all side by side in the closed state in the Main product inserted, or the preliminary products are inserted into each other like onions.
A disadvantage of the known methods is the fact that the freedom in structuring a printed product are limited, so that in particular the compilation from a main product, at least one intermediate product and several supplements existing newspapers due to technical reasons conditional limits are not always in the desired structure is possible.
An object of the invention is to provide a method of type mentioned in such a way that when compiling of printed matter, especially newspapers, greater flexibility with regard to the different possibilities structuring of printed products becomes.
According to the invention this object is achieved in that the folded intermediate product in the closed state in the folded Main product plugged in or closed after plugging in and subsequently at least one next to the closed one Intermediate product to come lying inserted further printed product , whereupon an opening of the preliminary product and finally inserting at least one other printed product into the preliminary product.
In the simplest embodiment of the invention A preliminary product is inserted into the main product, whereupon in addition to the closed intermediate product, for example an insert is inserted. Then follows opening the preliminary product and inserting it, for example another supplement in the opened intermediate product.
In contrast to previously known methods in which the Preproduct either with a supplement already included in the main product must be inserted, what is called a Pre-plugging with a separate plug-in device requires or inserting the ones intended for the preliminary product Insert immediately after inserting the preliminary product in the main product must take place, the invention is distinguished Procedure characterized in that after inserting the respective supplement any preliminary product not yet contained other insertion operations can be performed before in the end, the arbitrary insertion processes concerning the preliminary product be performed and certain supplement in the preliminary product can be inserted. Regarding the timing and the location of inserting an insert into the preliminary product are consequently using the method according to the invention significantly larger than in the prior art Given freedom.
It is particularly preferred if a first according to the invention folded intermediate product inserted in the closed state or closed after insertion and at least subsequently one to lie next to the closed first preliminary product coming second folded intermediate product is inserted, in which in turn inserted at least one other printed product , whereupon an opening of the first intermediate and finally inserting at least one other printed product into the first intermediate product.
So
In this embodiment of the method according to the invention, the first preliminary product can thus be parked without an insert, for example, whereupon the second preliminary product is inserted. A parked print or main product is to be understood as holding part or all of the respective product in a defined position. Static fixed or movably controllable holding elements are used to park a product, which hold a product in a defined position in one state in particular and have no direct influence on the position of the product in the other state, so that the product, for example, as a result of gravity occupies a position independently. Parking a print product can be controlled either kept open or kept closed. After inserting the second preliminary product, one or more inserts are inserted into it, whereupon the first, parked preliminary product is opened and inserts can be inserted into this first preliminary product. In this way, a printed product or a newspaper can be produced in which two primary products lying side by side are arranged in a main product, in each of which further preliminary products or supplements are located. It is not necessary here to insert the supplements intended for the first preliminary product into the preliminary product immediately after inserting the preliminary product into the main product. The inserts can be inserted into the first intermediate product at any later point in time during the same processing operation. Such a method for inserting the desired arrangement of the printed products in the main product or the structure of the printed product is obtainable.
In the embodiment of the method according to the invention described below, it is possible to freely choose not only the time at which inserts are inserted into the first preliminary product but also the time at which inserts are inserted into the second preliminary product.
In this embodiment of the method for inserting printed products into a folded main product, in which at least one printed product designed as a folded preliminary product and then further printed products are inserted, a first folded preliminary product is inserted into an opened main product, the intermediate product either being inserted in the closed state or is closed after the plugging in, and subsequently at least one second folded preliminary product coming to lie next to the closed first preliminary product is inserted in the closed state or closed after the insertion. The method runs in such a way that after these actions both the first and the second preliminary product are in a parked state, and in which at least one further printed product coming next to the parked first and / or next to the parked second preliminary product can be inserted , At this stage of the process it is of course also possible to insert a plurality of further printed products in any structure.
Depending on the printed product to be produced, the main product can be designed as a main part, an envelope or a title page.
After inserting this further printed product or these further printed products, the first or second preliminary product can be opened and at least one further printed product inserted into the first or second preliminary product, whereupon the second or first preliminary product can then be opened and at least inserted another printed product in the second or first preliminary product is possible. Both the first and the second preliminary product can be provided with inserted inserts or inserted further printed products at freely selectable times.
A printed product can be in an open or in a closed one Position to be parked. In particular, it is possible after parking the first and second intermediate in a closed position, a third, between the parked To plug in pre-products to come and this in turn with inserted print products or side dishes. In this way, a Printed product can be obtained, in which within a A total of three preliminary products lying side by side are included, in which each individually inserted Printed products or supplements can be included.
The method according to the invention can be used with a wide variety of devices for the compilation of printed matter be performed. For example, it is possible that Main product in a pocket during insertion hold, each with a plurality of pockets side by side or can be arranged one behind the other. The side by side and / or pockets arranged one behind the other can for example by means of a traction or other drive means along an at least partially linear path or also be moved along a curved path. When moving the bags along a curved path you can advantageously achieve that the bags are acted upon by the Carry out one or more tilting movements by which causes the main and / or preliminary products to open can be. The bag can also be pivoted with the traction mechanism be connected and, for example, by the action of a Perform a tilting movement.
The side by side pockets can be used instead of Use of a traction device also with a rotating drum be coupled so that the pockets when rotating the Essentially a movement along a circle or drum Helix or a combination of circular and Execute screw lines. Even with such an arrangement there is a tilting of the pockets, through which the named Opening movements are achievable.
The bags can also be designed as elongated bags and the printed products in these bags using a gripper or slide in one conveying direction be moved. These elongated pockets can be pivoted or with a rotating Drum are coupled so that the rotating in the elongated pockets conveyed printed products essentially a movement along a circular or helical line or a combination of circular and helical lines.
According to the invention it is possible to park and then openable products directly into the main product insert so that immediately after inserting a contact between the main product and the preliminary product is. In this way, a device for carrying out to make the method according to the invention particularly simple, since it is not necessary, for example, double-walled or having several nested sections Bags to use. Rather, the effort is sufficient from simple, just a single input section and pockets with only one wall.
The opening of the intermediate product parked according to the invention or the preliminary products parked according to the invention are preferably carried out by means of a pre-fold. Such a pre-fold can the pre-fold side of the pre-product with suitable Means from the side of the Pre-product can be lifted or moved away, which ultimately it is possible to open the preliminary product.
Further preferred embodiments of the invention Procedures are described in the subclaims.

The following is the process flow shown in FIG. 1 to compile a printed product:
kommendes gefaltetes Hauptprodukt 8 eingesteckt, welches

According to FIG. 1b, the

After this insertion process, the
Das Vorfalz-Halteelement 7 wird gemäß Fig. 1f derart umgesteuert,
daß es nunmehr den Vorfalz 10 des Vorproduktes 11
zurückhält. Die Vorfalze 9, 10 und 13 befinden sich somit in
der in Fig. 1f dargestellten Position zwischen Vorfalz-Halteelement
7 und rechter Seitenwand 5.The
Then the

Fig. 1h dargestellte Position, sowie durch ein Verschwenken
des Vorfalz-Halteelements 7 in seine Passivposition wird das
fertige Druckereierzeugnis (Endprodukt) für einen nicht dargestellten
Entnahmevorgang freigegeben.By subsequently pivoting the
The finished printed product shown in FIG. 1h

Positionen a bis h, in denen jeweils die Verfahrensschritte a

Fig. 1 dargestellte Verschwenken der Taschen 1 ist beispielsweise
Stellungen einnehmen.

The device shown in Figures 4 and 5 is merely

34 hin wirkende Kraft erfahren.
hin bewegt. Eine derart statisch angeordnete langgestreckte
Tasche 30 erlaubt dieselben Druckereierzeugnisse 44 herzustellen,
The embodiment shown in Fig. 4 an
So
