Abstract

A microphone holder has a flexible support with a recess for receiving a microphone cable. Such flexible microphone holders are mainly worn by singers during song recitals, for example concerts, musicals, operas, etc., but are also used on instruments with a modified design. In the case of singers, the microphone holders are often bent to form a headset microphone with a microphone arm at the end of which is arranged a microphone capsule connected to a cable. The flexibility of the microphone holder enables the microphone capsule to be positioned next to the mouth of the person wearing the microphone holder. The object of the invention is to simplify the production of the microphone holder, to create an individually adaptable microphone holder and to eliminate the previously described disadvantages and problems. For that purpose, a microphone holder is provided with a flexible carrier and a recess for the microphone cable which is at least partially parallel to the carrier. The recess has an opening or groove substantially parallel to its longitudinal axis through which the microphone cable can be inserted into the recess. The advantages of the developments of the invention are described in the dependent claims.

Description

Mikrofonhalterung Microphone holder
The invention relates to a microphone holder consisting of a flexible carrier with a receptacle for a microphone cable. Such flexible microphone mounts are mainly used in vocal performances, e.g. Concerts, musicals, operas etc., carried by the singers, but are also used in modified form on instruments. In the case of singers, the microphone holder is often bent into a neck prong microphone which has a microphone arm, at the end of which a microphone capsule connected to a cable is arranged. Due to the flexibility of the microphone holder, the microphone capsule can be positioned so that it is arranged near the mouth of the wearer of the microphone holder.
A known microphone holder used as a headband microphone is shown in Fig. 2. Here, a flexible tube, which lies in a holder, serves as a flexible support for the microphone cable and the microphone itself. The free end of the tube is extended so far that it extends into the mouth area of the singer. At the free end of the tube a microphone capsule is arranged, which is covered with a foam body in the example shown. In the microphone holder shown in FIG. 2, the bracket also has sound transducers for headphone reproduction, so that the singer also receives his own singing via the headphones.
For whatever reason, the microphone must now be replaced by another. so the cable is pulled out again to the front and a new microphone cable with a new microphone is inserted as described above. Since different microphones may have to be used for different areas of application and different places of use, it is necessary, even during the completion of the microphone holder, that the manufacturer must know the area of application, the place of use and also information about the holder of the microphone holder so that the correct microphone can be used in a microphone holder is used
Deshalb ist bei den bekannten Mikrofonhalterungen sowohl die Herstellung, als auch die Reparatur recht umständlich, zeitintensiv und teuerThis sometimes leads to a very cumbersome manufacture of the microphone holder, which moreover can only be carried out by the manufacturer, because special tools are required for the use of the microphone together with the microphone cable, which not everyone has. Therefore, in the known microphone holders, both the manufacture and the repair are quite cumbersome, time-consuming and expensive
Die Erfindung hat zum Ziel, die Herstellung der Mikrofonhalterung zu vereinfachen, eine individuell anpassbare Mikrofonhalterung zu schaffen und die zuvor beschriebenen Nachteile und Probleme zu beseitigenThe aim of the invention is to simplify the manufacture of the microphone holder, to create an individually adaptable microphone holder and to eliminate the disadvantages and problems described above
This goal is achieved by a microphone holder, which consists of a flexible carrier and has an at least partially parallel receptacle for the microphone cable, the receptacle having an opening or groove running essentially parallel to its longitudinal axis, through which the microphone cable in the inclusion can be introduced. Advantages of further developments are described in the subclaims. The microphone holder according to the invention allows the microphone cable to be easily removed and inserted without any special tools. The microphone holder, which is open from the outside, enables the microphone holder to be easily manufactured and the microphone replaced quickly.
Die Zeichnungen stellen dar:The invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing. The drawings show:

Fig. 6 eine Mikrofonhalterung mit InstrumentenhalterungFig. 6 is a microphone holder with an instrument holder
Dadurch wird eine sichere Klemmung des Kabels, auch im rauhen Betrieb, gewahrleistet.1 shows a microphone holder 1 with a microphone arm 3 designed as an elongated, flexible carrier element 2 and made of a skin-friendly plastic. The microphone arm has two channels that are arranged parallel to each other. In the first channel 4, which is closed, there is a flexible metal body, e.g. a flexible metal rod is arranged. The second channel 5 is open by forming a groove on the microphone along the channel orientation, the groove cross section being significantly smaller than the diameter of the channel 5, which is used to receive a microphone cable. Due to the flexible plastic construction of the microphone arm, the groove itself can be widened and when a cable is placed in the cable receptacle 5, the free ends 6 and 7 of the microphone arm try to move back into their original position. This ensures that the cable is clamped securely, even in rough operation.
Fig. 2 shows a known microphone holder, which is attached to an open headphone. The microphone holder consists of a tube 8 which is attached to a holder 1 8. The holder 18 is arranged very close to a sound reproduction transducer of a headphone cup 19. Through the pipe 8 a microphone cable 9 is pulled, which is connected to a microphone capsule 1 0. The tube 8 is designed to be flexible and therefore allows the desired positioning to the mouth of the microphone holder. The microphone capsule 10 is also covered in FIG. 2 by a pop protection 19.
Due to the fixed connection of the cable and the microphone capsule, the cable 9 must always be replaced when the microphone is exchanged and the new cable must be pulled through the pipe 8, which is not easy or not possible at all due to the bending of the pipe
In Fig. 3 ist das gezeigte Profil in einem Maßstab von 20: 1 dargestellt.3 shows an enlarged cross-sectional view of a microphone holder according to the invention. Here, the closed channel 4 for receiving the flexible metal body can be clearly seen, and above it the second channel, open at the side, for receiving the cable is shown. In the example shown, the ratio of the passage width of the groove 11 to the diameter of the cable duct 5 is approximately 1: 6, it must be noted that other ratios are of course permissible, depending on the material used. The microphone arm consists of a thermoplastic, for example. In Fig. 3 the profile shown is shown on a scale of 20: 1.
Die Verschlußkappe 1 1 verhindert gleichzeitig, daß herabrinnender Schweiß zur Mikrofonkapsel gelangt.4 shows the microphone arm 3 with the cable inserted. Again, the cable 9 is connected to the microphone capsule 1 0, but is inserted through the groove 1 1 from the outside into the cable receptacle 5, so that pulling the cable through the cable receptacle is not necessary, but rather the cable is inserted laterally into the cable receptacle. At the end of the microphone arm a closure cap 1 1 is placed, which prevents the cable and microphone from being pulled out of the groove at the end of the microphone arm and increases the clamping effect on the cable. The cap 1 1 also prevents running sweat from reaching the microphone capsule.
As already described in FIG. 1, the supporting element of the microphone holder is a metal arm which is surrounded by a skin-friendly plastic profile, which can be designed in different colors for cosmetic reasons. The metal material is selected so that the microphone arm can be individually adjusted by the user without any problems. Through the Stability of the construction is guaranteed that the shape once selected is largely retained even with rough use or rough transport and therefore hardly any or only slight readjustments of the microphone arm or the microphone positioning are necessary with each new use. The length of the microphone arm with the cable receptacle can be changed to the desired size using a simple cutting or sawing tool and thus adapted to the optimal sound pick-up location of the microphone.
When the microphone holder is manufactured, the microphone is pressed into the retracting groove 11, see FIG. 3, of the microphone arm in the desired position at the front end of the microphone arm. The microphone cable is pressed into this groove over the entire course of the microphone arm, clamped there and covered by the material of the microphone arm.
Der Mikrofonarm 2 wird durch Klemmstucke 1 4 am Verstellmechanismus gehalten5 shows a head set configuration of the microphone holder. Here, the microphone arm of the cable receptacle is shaped so that it serves as a holder for a head-carried microphone, as is often used in concert, opera or musical performances. You can see the support and an adjustment mechanism 1 3 in the rear by the bow lines 1 2 Area that supports the individual adaptability to the head shape of the microphone carrier. The microphone arm 2 is held by clamps 1 4 on the adjustment mechanism
Fig. βzeigt eme Instrumentenhalterung der erfindungsgemaßen Mikrofonhalterung. Fig. Β shows an instrument holder of the microphone holder according to the invention. Here, a bracket 1 5 is used to attach the microphone arm 2 with the cable holder to an instrument (not shown), for. B. on a switching funnel of a trumpet. The clip can be designed with friction-increasing material, which increases the adhesion to the instrument and at the same time prevents damage to the instrument by the clip. The clip can be attached to the instrument, the microphone arm can be brought into the desired position and its length can be optimally adapted to the application. The microphone is pressed together with the cable into the groove of the microphone arm, then the microphone is secured by the end cap 17. The clamp 1 5 has a suitable receptacle 1 6 for the fixed arrangement of the microphone arm 2.
