Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Kühlung der Arbeitswalzen 1,2 eines Walzgerüstes, umfassend für jede Walze einen mit Spritzdüsen 3,4 bestückten Kühlwasserkanal 7,8 an einem Spritzbalken sowie Mittel 5,6 zur Zufuhr von Kühlwasser bzw. zum Abführen erhitzten Wassers. Die obere Arbeitswalze weist eine im spitzen Winkel zur Walzgutoberfläche angeordnete Kühlwasser-Leitplatte (9) mit einem vorderseitigen, der Walze (1) zugewendeten Abstreifer 11 auf, und dicht unterhalb der Walzgutebene (x-x) ist eine annähernd horizontale Kühlwasser-Leitplatte 10 angeordnet mit einem der unteren Walze 2 zugeordneten Abstreifer 12. Diese Vorrichtung wird dadurch verbessert, daß in sandwichartiger Zuordnung oberhalb der oberen Kühlwasser-Leitplatte 9 eine Deckplatte 20 unter Ausbildung eines flüssigkeitsführenden Spalts (21) angeordnet ist und der Spalt 21 an seinem der Walze 1 abgewandten Ende 22 mit einer Kühlwasserabsaugung 30 in Verbindung steht. Unterhalb der unteren Kühlwasser-Leitplatte 10, in den sich zwischen dieser mit dem Abstreifer 12 und einem Oberflächenbereich der unteren Walze (2) ergebenden flüssigkeitsführenden Eckbereich 24 hineinragend, ist wenigstens ein Absaugrohr 25 angeordnet und an eine Kühlwasser-Absaugung 31 angeschlossen. The invention relates to a device for cooling the work rolls 1, 2 of a roll stand, comprising, for each roll, a cooling water channel 7, 8 equipped with spray nozzles 3, 4 on a spray bar, and means 5, 6 for supplying cooling water or for removing heated water. The upper work roll has a cooling water baffle plate (9) arranged at an acute angle to the surface of the rolling stock, with a wiper 11 on the front facing the roll (1), and an approximately horizontal cooling water baffle plate 10 is arranged just below the rolling stock plane (xx) the lower roller 2 associated wipers 12. This device is improved in that a cover plate 20 is arranged in a sandwich-like assignment above the upper cooling water guide plate 9 to form a liquid-carrying gap (21) and the gap 21 at its end facing away from the roller 22nd is connected to a cooling water suction 30. At least one suction pipe 25 is arranged below the lower cooling water guide plate 10, into which the liquid-carrying corner area 24 that results with the scraper 12 and a surface area of the lower roller (2), and is connected to a cooling water suction device 31.
