Abstract

Ein Umschaltventil (10) für Blasinstrumente, insbesondere für B/Es Parforcehörner, besitzt ein Ventilgehäuse (20) und ein darin beweglich aufnehmbares Verstellelement (30). Das Ventilgehäuse (20) weist wenigstens eine Einlaßöffnung (32, 36) und zwei Auslaßöffnungen (34, 38) auf. Zur gezielten Luftführung in Abhängigkeit der Position des Verstellelements (30) ist eine erste Einlaßöffnung (32) mit einer ersten Auslaßöffnung (34) oder mit einer zweiten Auslaßöffnung (38) verbindbar. Um zu gewährleisten, daß der Klang des Blasinstrumentes durch das Ventil nicht oder nur unwesentlich beeinträchtigt wird, ist das Verstellelement (30) als Kolben ausgeführt. Der Kolben ist in Richtung seiner Längsachse beweglich im Ventilgehäuse (20) aufnehmbar. Der Kolben weist Bohrungen (50, 52) auf, die derart ausgeführt sind, daß in mindestens einer Kolbenposition die erste Einlaßöffnung (32) mit der ersten Auslaßöffnung (34) verbindbar ist und in mindestens einer weiteren Kolbenposition die erste Einlaßöffnung (32) mit der zweiten Auslaßöffnung (38) verbindbar ist, wobei in wenigstens einer Kolbenposition ein im wesentlichen gerader und verengungsfreier Durchgang durch das Umschaltventil (10) erzeugbar ist.

A changeover valve (10) for wind instruments, in particular for B / Es parforce horns, has a valve housing (20) and an adjusting element (30) which can be movably received therein. The valve housing (20) has at least one inlet opening (32, 36) and two outlet openings (34, 38). A first inlet opening (32) can be connected to a first outlet opening (34) or to a second outlet opening (38) for targeted air guidance depending on the position of the adjusting element (30). In order to ensure that the sound of the wind instrument is not or only slightly affected by the valve, the adjusting element (30) is designed as a piston. The piston is movable in the valve housing (20) in the direction of its longitudinal axis. The piston has bores (50, 52) which are designed such that in at least one piston position the first inlet opening (32) can be connected to the first outlet opening (34) and in at least one further piston position the first inlet opening (32) can be connected to the second outlet opening (38) can be connected, an essentially straight and constriction-free passage through the changeover valve (10) being able to be produced in at least one piston position.
