Description
- une couche photopolymère 10 qui comporte généralement et comme connu en soi une semelle (non représentée) et une partie en relief constituant la partie imprimante ;
- une couche barrière 20 qui confère une certaine stabilité mécanique au manchon lors de la rotation et qui évite la migration des monomères de la couche photopolymère 10 vers l'intérieur du manchon ; et
- une couche compressible 30 formée d'un élastomère cellulaire.
Claims (8)
- Manchon pour cylindre de machine d'impression, d'enduction ou analogue, comprenant plusieurs couches concentriques associées, à savoir une couche extérieure d'impression, d'enduction ou analogue (1, 10) et une ou plusieurs couches sous-jacentes (2, 3, 20, 30), caractérisé en ce qu'à au moins l'une desdites couches (1, 2, 3, 10, 20, 30) est intégré un matériau lui conférant un caractère rétractable à la chaleur et constituant, en volume, environ 10 à 50 % de cette couche pour qu'elle conserve sa fonction qui lui est propre et à laquelle s'ajoute la fonction de thermo-rétractation.
- Manchon selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la couche thermo-rétractable constitue en même temps une couche externe d'impression, d'enduction ou analogue (1, 10), une couche compressible (2, 30), une couche support (3) ou au moins deux de ces trois couches.
- Manchon selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que la couche thermo-rétractable est en un matériau à base de polyéthylène, polyvinylchlorure (PVC), polyamide, polypropylène, polyvinylidène fluoré (PVDF), ou autres matériaux polymères ayant un taux de cristallinité entre 10 et 60 %.
- Manchon selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'il est interrompu suivant une génératrice et comporte un fermoir (60) pour permettre son montage sur un cylindre (100) avant thermo-rétractation.
- Manchon selon la revendication 4, caractérisé par un jonctionnement (63) dudit manchon sur le cylindre (100) au niveau du fermoir (60) pour rendre ledit manchon fonctionnellement sans fin.
- Manchon selon l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'il constitue un manchon d'impression offset ou un manchon d'impression flexographique.
- Manchon selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que dans le cas où il constitue un manchon d'impression flexographique, il comporte, entre une couche photopolymère d'impression (10) et une couche cellulaire compressible (30), une couche barrière (20) qui forme une couche thermo-rétractable.
- Prczédé de mise en place d'un manchon selon l'une des revendications 1 à 7 sur un cylindre de machine d'impression, caractérisé en ce qu'après mise en place du manchon sur un cylindre de diamètre inférieur, on chauffe ce manchon sur le cylindre au moyen d'un système à convection d'air chaud ou à micro-ondes pour activer la couche thermorétractable afin de provoquer la rétractation et le montage du manchon sur la périphérie du cylindre.
