Abstract

The method involves first attaching the jib (8) to the base of the crane mast head (6), then attaching the free end of the counter-jib stay (13) to an assembly strap (25) fixed temporarily to the top of the mast head, lifting the strap to align the stay and fixing the stay with a peg. The next stage consists of attaching the jib (7) to the base of the mast head on the opposite side to the counter-jib, connecting the free ends of its stays (16,17) to an assembly strap fixed provisionally to the mast head, and then lifting the strap to align the stays and fasten them in place at the top of mast head with pegs. The straps can be made as part of the stays, and are hoisted into position by winches.

Description

The present invention relates to a method for mounting of the tower crane jib tie rods, and a device for implementing this method. This invention finds its application in the assembly of tie rods of the distributing arrow and the counter-arrow associated, constituting support for counterweights, cranes to especially high capacity lathe, used on building construction sites and works public. Such tower cranes are generally rotating from the top, and have a fixed height mast adjustable by means of additional mast elements.

The distributing boom of such a tower crane usually has a shaped cross section isosceles triangle. The top of the triangular section corresponds to an upper member of the boom, while that the two corners of the base of this section triangular correspond to two lower members, which form a raceway for a carriage load distribution. This distributing arrow is essentially made up of arrow elements successive, aligned and assembled to each other at means of pin axes arranged at the ends respective of the upper chord and the chords of these boom elements. The arrow has again, depending on its length, one or more tie rods restraint, also referred to hereinafter more simply as "tie rods", which are each formed of several parts assembled together, end to end, at means of pin axes mounted perpendicular to the vertical median plane of the arrow. The front end of the or of each tie is linked by articulation, also to the by means of a pin axis perpendicular to the median plane of the arrow, at a point on the upper chord of the arrow.

The mounting of such a distributing boom, that is to say both its assembly and its implementation place, is generally carried out as follows:

The arrow elements are aligned and assembled together on the ground, the tie rods also being assembled by their front ends to the elements of corresponding arrow, these tie rods initially resting on the upper chord, facing the boom foot element. Then the boom is equipped slings for lifting with an auxiliary machine assembly, such as a mobile crane. At the end of lifting, the rear articulation of the boom foot is presented and embossed on the front face of the masthead, designated also as an arrowhead.

According to a first way of operating, the arrow being held in position by the mounting machine, makes a reeving on site between the free end of each tie rod and its fixing point at the top of the masthead. Using the crane lifting winch, or of a cable puller, we pull on the free strand of hauling until a pinout can be made the initially free end of the tie on the top of the masthead.

The hauling operation is carried out here in height, and requires the intervention of several assemblers operating in difficult and arduous working conditions, especially in case of wind or other bad weather.

The brace is assembled in one analogous to that of the distributing arrow, and therefore has the same disadvantages. The craft assembly assistant is immobilized during all this time, this machine is generally rented at a high cost.

According to another way of operating, even more delicate, we use the auxiliary mounting device to raise the boom and its tie rods around the joint arrowhead, until you can perform a pinout between the free end of each tie rod waiting on the arrow foot, on the one hand, and the end a corresponding connecting piece or "strap", in waiting at the top of the masthead, on the other hand. The pinout being carried out, the arrow is still lowered to using the auxiliary lifting device, until the tie rods are aligned and tensioned.

According to another method, described in the patent French N ° 2,706,882 in the name of the Applicant, we use the auxiliary mounting machine for both lifting and align the tie, while the arrow or counter-arrow is still on the ground, only to then carry out the lifting of the whole boom or counter-boom with its draft kept raised and aligned, and the presentation of such an assembly in front of the masthead for the assembly of the arrow or the counter-arrow at the base of the masthead and for direct pinout of the free end of the tie rod or counterjib at the top of the masthead.

Thanks to this process, the assembly of the crane faster, easier and in more better safety conditions for staff.

This mounting process is particularly interesting in the case of medium capacity cranes, for which the lifting winch can be housed at the inside of the boom foot element vending machine, which allows you to fully ground lifting hauling. However, in the case of high capacity cranes, in which the winch lifting is arranged on the jib for reasons size, the advantage of this process is limited, especially since the arrows are long and equipped with several tie rods.

We also know other cranes in which hauling systems are used, in assembly, in a way different from the object of the present invention.

Thus, the German utility model N ° 87.09267 provides a single haul, having only part fixed and mobile part, applied to a jib crane liftable, where the arrow line is active in work, and the hauling is "working". This device therefore does not concern jib cranes distributor, with line of fixed jib tie rods job. So, this is the arrow lifting haul which is used here for the alignment of the tie rods during the mounting. In addition, this hauling has no use for the mounting the jib.

German patent application N ° 33.07.892 relates to a low capacity tower crane, in which a single haul serves to raise the arrow and the arrows, not to align the tie rods.

British patent N ° 965,025 relates to him also low capacity cranes, in which the hauling is used to raise the mast of the crane, not to align the arrow rods. In addition, it is a hauling which is not pre-existing on the crane.

The present invention provides a solution to difficulties previously outlined, providing a method for mounting the tie rods of the crane jibs tower, and a device for implementing this process, which apply to all types of tower cranes but especially high capacity tower cranes, whose arrows are equipped with several tie rods, the process and the proposed device for mounting quickly, easily and securely for the staff.

To this end, the method for mounting the tie rods of the jibs of tower cranes according to the invention consists, for a tower crane having a distributing jib and a jib provided with one or more retaining tie rods, one end of which is articulated at a jib element, the other end of which, initially free, is intended to be linked by pinning to the top of the crane mast head:
  • in a first phase:
    • to assemble the brace at the base of the mast head by broaching,
    • to pin the free end of the tie-rod of the counter-jib, or of a part of this tie-rod, to one end of a mounting strap temporarily fixed on the mast head,
    • to raise this strap, up to the alignment of the tie-rod of the counter-arrow, by means of a mounting cable forming a haulage between said strap and the top of the mast head,
    • broaching the tie-rod at the top of the masthead,
  • in a second phase:
    • to assemble by jib the boom at the base of the masthead, on the side opposite the jib,
    • to connect the free end of the jib tie (s) to a mounting strap temporarily fixed on the mast head,
    • to raise this mounting strap, until the tie rod or the arrow tie rods are aligned
connected to each other, by means of the abovementioned mounting cable forming another haulage between said strap and the top of the mast head,
    • to broach the arrow rod (s) at the top of the masthead.

According to a preferred embodiment of the device, the strap used for mounting the tie rod of the counter-arrow is formed by the front part of this tie, and is thus an "active" ramp.

The device according to the invention, for setting work of the assembly process defined above includes, in addition to the aforementioned mounting straps, a set of hauling, between a mounting winch ensuring motorization of a mounting cable, a fixed part located successively on the side of the arrow for mounting the pulling from the jib, then from the jib side for mounting the boom tie rod (s), and a moving part located on the opposite side, all the elements of the haulage system being carried by the single head of mast, this set of hauling comprising, as moving parts successively used, at least one pulley carried by the mounting strap of the tie rod counter-deflection, and at least one other pulley carried by the mounting strap of the boom tie (s).

The device thus comprises a cable circuit closed, made in the factory, with two moving parts which are alternately used. More specifically, the moving part on the jib side is first used, while the moving part on the boom side is immobilized (ex works), for mounting the counter-arrow; then, after mounting the jib, the moving part on the jib side is immobilized, and the moving part is used on the boom side for mounting of the arrow.

According to a preferred embodiment of the device, the motorized mounting cable runs successively, from the assembly winch arranged at inside the base of the masthead, on a first pulley which is arranged at the top of the masthead and whose axis of rotation is perpendicular to the median plane vertical of the arrow and the counter-arrow, on a second pulley mounted on the side of the jib at one end of a lifting beam articulated at the top of the head mast and resting on the mast head, the axis of rotation of the second pulley being parallel to that of the first pulley, on a third pulley mounted on the strap of mounting of the provisionally fixed jib tie rod on the rear face of the mast head, the axis of rotation of the third pulley being orthogonal to that of the second pulley, then on a fourth pulley mounted coaxially with the second pulley by forming a haulage two strands for mounting the tie bar tie rod, and finally on a set of pulleys forming a haul multiple between the top of the masthead, on the side of the arrow, and the mounting strap of the tie rod (s) of the arrow temporarily attached to the front of the head mast, to finally be fixed on the axis of rotation of the multiple hauling pulleys at the top of the head mast.

Advantageously, multiple hauling is carried out between a first series of coaxial pulleys arranged at the other end of the lifter articulated at the top of the masthead, pulleys whose common axis of rotation is perpendicular to the vertical median plane of the arrow and the jib, and a second series of pulleys also coaxial arranged at the upper end of the mounting strap of the boom tie rod (s), the common axis of rotation of the latter pulleys being also perpendicular to the vertical median plane of the arrow and counter-arrow.

In the case of a boom equipped with several tie rods, these tie rods are interconnected by their last free end element, by means of a sling in constant length cable.

According to another characteristic, the tie rod (s) of the arrow are pinned on the top of the masthead through a pending connecting piece position to receive the free end elements said tie rods.

In the case of the combination of characteristics previous, the length of the sling connecting the elements free end of the tie rods is determined in such a way that at the end of assembly, the ends free of all tie rods can be stapled directly on said connecting piece waiting at top of the mast. This pinout can however be facilitated by the addition of articulated links on the free end elements of the tie rods.

As for the tiller, this is advantageously broached on the masthead by through a twin on standby in position for receive the mounting strap from the tie rod counter-arrow.

Thanks to the preceding arrangements, a device fully factory fitted on the mast head, and integrated into this masthead, which is ready to be set up work, thus avoiding making haulings in height with the difficulties and risks that this implies. The installation time of the crane on site is also reduced, and therefore the immobilization of the auxiliary mounting machine is shorter.

The tower crane shown in Figure 1 includes, in common, a fixed or rolling basic chassis 1, a mast 2 of adjustable height surmounted by a fixed pivot 3 which supports, through a device orientation 4, a rotating pivot 5 itself surmounted a mast head 6. This crane is provided with a boom distributor 7 and a jib 8, located on the side and on the other side of the mast head 6. The jib 8 carries a counterweight 9, and it also supports a lifting winch 10, while the arrow 7 is equipped with a carriage distribution 11 and a winch (not shown) of displacement of this carriage 11, for handling loads on a building site.

La contreflèche 8 est maintenue en position sensiblement horizontale par l'intermédiaire d'un tirant oblique 13 lié au sommet 14 de la tête de mât 6.The jib 8 is hinged, around a horizontal axis 12 perpendicular to the plane vertical median of the arrow 7 and the counter-arrow 8, on the rear face of the mast head 6, at the base of this mast head 6. The jib 8 is held in place substantially horizontal position via a oblique tie 13 linked to the top 14 of the mast head 6.

The distributor boom 7 is mounted so articulated, about a perpendicular horizontal axis 15 in the vertical median plane of arrow 7 and of camber 8, on the front face of the mast head 6, the base of this masthead 6. The arrow 7 is maintained in a substantially horizontal position through two oblique tie rods 16 and 17, linked to each other at top 14 of said mast head 6. Of unequal lengths, these two tie rods 16 and 17 are also linked, respectively, at two points spaced from the distributing arrow 7. More particularly, this distributing arrow 7, of adjustable length, includes one foot element 18, two or more common intermediate elements 19, two special intermediate elements 20 and 21 designated as tie rods, and one or more other elements currents 22 constituting the cantilevered end portion of arrow 7. The foot element 18 is articulated around axis 15 at the mast head 6. The two tie rods arrow 16 and 17 are respectively linked to tie rods 20 and 21.

As shown in detail in Figures 6, 7 and 8, the pulling 13 of the jib 8 is formed of several successive parts, here three parts 23, 24 and 25, connected to each other and to the jib 8 respectively by articulation axes 26, 27 and 28, perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the tie rod 13 and to the plane vertical median of the jib 8. In the realization practical, each part 23, 24 or 25 can be formed by two parallel elements, the tie rod 13 thus being a double drawing.

Les extrémités inférieures 35, également en forme de chape, des jumelles 29 reposent en attente sur un autre support 36 solidaire de la face arrière de la tête de mât 6, le support 36 recevant par ailleurs, provisoirement, l'axe 27 servant à relier la partie 25 du tirant 13 à l'ensemble des autres parties 23, 24 du même tirant 13.In the initial mounting position, as shown in the Figure 6, the posterior 23 and intermediate 24 of the tie rod 13 are connected to each other and to the jib 8 by axes 26 and 28, and are based on this counterjib 8. The front part 25 of the tie rod 13 is still separate from parts 23 and 24, and it's temporarily mounted against the rear face of the masthead 6. Referring also to FIG. 5, the front part 25 of tie rod 13, also designated as mounting strap, consists of two binoculars parallel 29 joined together by a lifter 30 provided a pulley 31. The upper ends of the binoculars 29 each form a yoke 32 receiving a horizontal axis 33 initially stapled on a support 34 secured to the rear face of the mast head 6. The ends lower 35, also in the shape of a yoke, binoculars 29 rest on standby on another support 36 integral from the rear face of the mast head 6, the support 36 also receiving, temporarily, axis 27 used to connect part 25 of tie rod 13 to all the others parts 23, 24 of the same tie 13.

As shown in Figures 9, 11 and 13, both tie rods 16 and 17 of the distributing arrow 7 are formed each of several successive parts (not identified individually) of lengths adapted to those of elements of arrow 7. The successive parts of arrow rods 16 and 17 are interconnected by hinge pins (not detailed) mounted perpendicular to the longitudinal directions of respective tie rods, as well as in the vertical median plane of the arrow 7.

In the initial mounting position, as shown in the Figure 9, the two tie rods 16 and 17 are arranged one above each other, and aligned above the elements of arrow 7, the tie rods 16 and 17 being linked by their front ends to the respective tie-rods 20 and 21. Furthermore, the free end elements respective 37 and 38 of the two tie rods 16 and 17 are connected between them by a cable sling 39 in length constant, visible in Figures 11 and following. As the shows figure 10, the end part 38 of the tie rod 17 carries, at its free end, an articulated link 40 used to couple this tie 17 with the top 14 of the mast head 6. The end part 37 of the tie rod 16 carries also, at its free end, an articulated link 41 used to couple this tie rod 16 with the top 14 of the masthead 6. This part 37 of the tie rod 16 comprises at in addition, in its upper zone, a bore 42 of axis horizontal intended to receive a pin axis 43 of a mounting strap 44, fixed in standby on the front face of the mast head 6 by means of a connecting rod 45. The mounting strap 44 carries a series of pulleys 46 coaxial, whose common axis of rotation is perpendicular to the vertical median plane of the arrow 7.

L'ensemble de mouflage 47 comprend un treuil auxiliaire de montage 48, implanté à l'intérieur de la tête de mât 6 vers la base de celle-ci, et assurant la motorisation d'un câble de montage 49.As shown in Figures 2 to 5, the mast head 6 is equipped with a reeving set 47 used for mounting of tie rod 13 of jib 8 and tie rods 16 and 17 of arrow 7. The hauling set 47 includes an auxiliary mounting winch 48, installed at inside the mast head 6 towards the base thereof, and ensuring the motorization of a mounting cable 49.

Quant à l'extrémité libre 63 du câble de montage 49, celle-ci est attachée en un point fixe, situé sur l'axe de rotation 62 des poulies 61.Starting from the winch 48, the mounting cable 49 travels successively: on a first pulley 50, arranged at the top 14 of the mast head 6 directly above the winch 48, the axis of rotation 51 of the pulley 50 being horizontal and perpendicular to the vertical median plane of the arrow 7 and the counter-arrow 8; on a second pulley 52 mounted on the side of the jib 8, one end of a spreader 53 articulated around an axis horizontal 54 on the top 14 of the mast head 6, the spreader 54 bearing at 55, on the side of the arrow 7, at the top 14 of the mast head 6, the axis of rotation 56 of the second pulley 52 being parallel to the axis of rotation 51 of the first pulley 50; on the pulley 31 mentioned above, carried by part 25 of tie rod 13 of the counterjib 8, the axis of rotation 57 of this third pulley 31 being orthogonal to that 56 of the second pulley 52; on a fourth pulley 58 mounted coaxially to the second pulley 52 and symmetrically to the latter, at the end of the spreader 53, the cable 49 forming a simple haul 59 between the pulley 31, of a part, and the two pulleys 52 and 58, on the other hand; and finally on a set of pulleys forming a haul multiple 60, comprising on the one hand a series of pulleys coaxial 61, mounted on the side of the arrow 7 to the other end of the spreader 53, the common axis of rotation 62 of pulleys 61 being perpendicular to the vertical median plane of the arrow 7 and of the counter-arrow 8, and on the other hand the series of coaxial pulleys 46 carried by the strap of mounting 44 of the tie rods 16 and 17 of the arrow 7. Thus, a two-strand reeving 59 is formed by the mounting cable 49 between the free end of tie rod 13 of the jib 8 and the top 14 of the masthead 6, and a haul multiple 60 is formed by the same cable 49 between the mounting strap 44 and the mast head 6. As for the free end 63 of the mounting cable 49, this is attached at a fixed point, located on the axis of rotation 62 pulleys 61.

Le montage de la flèche 7 et de la contreflèche 8, plus particulièrement des tirants 13, 16 et 17, est effectué à l'aide du dispositif, précédemment décrit, de la manière suivante (en partant de la position initiale correspondant à la description précédente) :The mounting of the jib 7 and the jib 8, more particularly tie rods 13, 16 and 17, is carried out using the device, previously described, of the following way (starting from the initial position corresponding to the previous description):

The elements of the jib 8 are aligned and assembled together on the ground, parts 23 and 24 of the tie rod 13 of this luff 8 being pending.

Then the entire jib 8 is lifted, at using an auxiliary lifting device including the cable 64 is visible in Figure 6, and the jib 8 is presented behind the masthead 6, for its assembly by pinout, along axis 12, at the base of this head mast 6. It should be noted that the presentation of the counterjib 8 is done with a slight inclination, to facilitate subsequent pinning of tie rod 13.

Then, as shown in arrow 65 of the Figure 6, we remove the mounting strap 25 from the head mast 6, and we just pin the lower end of this strap 25 on the part 24 of the tie rod 13, by putting in place of axis 27.

En fin de relevage, l'extrémité supérieure de la partie 25 est brochée sur une jumelle 66 en attente au sommet 14 de la tête de mât 6.In its next phase, illustrated in Figure 7, the hauling 59 is stretched by operating the winch 48, so that the whole tie rod 13 (parts 23, 24 and 25) is raised. At the end of lifting, the upper end of part 25 is stapled on a binocular 66 waiting at top 14 of the mast head 6.

Then the hauling 59 is slightly relaxed, so that the tie rod 13 aligns, the counterjib 8 then coming in a horizontal position - see figure 8. At this stage, ballast blocks belonging to counterweight 9 are possibly installed on the jib 8, to form a partial ballast necessary following the assembly operations.

The mounting of the jib 8 being thus realized, it is done in a fairly analogous way for the boom mounting 7.

Thus, the elements 18 to 22 of arrow 8 are first aligned and assembled together on the ground, the two tie rods 16 and 17 are pending.

Then the whole of the arrow 7 with its tie rods 16 and 17 is lifted, using the auxiliary lifting device, and the foot element 18 of the arrow 7 is presented in front the mast head 6, to be assembled by broaching, according to axis 15, at the base of the mast head 6.

As illustrated in Figures 9 and 10, it is then proceeded to uncoupling the mounting strap 44 and the mast head 6 and, as indicated by an arrow 67, at the pinout of this strap 44 on the bore 42 of the end portion 37 of the tie rod 16, by positioning of axis 43.

In the next phase, illustrated by the figures 11 and 12, the multiple hauling 60 is tensioned by actuating the winch 48, so that the tie rod 16 is raised, and leads with him up the other pulling 17, thanks to the connection made by the cable sling 39.

This lifting movement is continued, until that the two tie rods 16 and 17 are aligned, their posterior ends coming in coincidence. These ends are then stitched on a connecting piece 67, waiting at the top 14 of the masthead 6. The respective articulated links 40 and 41 facilitate this final broaching operation, illustrated in figures 13 and 14. The multiple haul 60 can finally be relaxed. We note that in the final assembled state, the mounting strap 44 is misaligned with the tie rods 16 and 17 of the arrow 13, and is not "active" unlike the mounting strap 25 which is part of the tie rod 13 of the counter-arrow.

As appears from the preceding description, the tie rod assembly operations 13, 16 and 17 are carried out without having to make hairs on place, especially in height, only being performed in height of simple broaching operations.

Of course, the invention is not limited to only mode of implementation of the method, and only in the form of the corresponding device, which have been described above by way of examples; she embraces it, on the contrary, all the variants of implementation and realization respecting the same principle.
