- the other switch is used to interrupt power to the engine at case, during its progress, the roller shutter encounters an obstacle having the effect of causing the motor in the other direction. Stopping the roller shutter in fully extended position is ensured by a special switch controlled by a mechanism measuring the movement of the roller shutter. At rest, the arms are in contact with the pushers of the switches, so the arm stroke is very low.

- the couple necessary to stop the roller shutter at the top stop being generally significantly greater than the torque necessary to stop the rolling shutter in abutment low, an asymmetry must be introduced. This asymmetry can be introduced by the displacement of switches, for example by moving in rotation or translation of a support carrying the two switches or by moving the arm actuation, respectively of the actuating arms.

- Figure 6 shows the device of Figure 5 after changing the distance between the arm actuation and switches.
- the basic principle of the stop device according to the invention is shown in Figure 1.
- the housing a motor not shown is secured to a support 1 can rotate around an axis a and retained in rotation by two opposing springs 3 and 4 acting on two arms 5 and 6 of the support 1.
- the support 1 is provided with a finger 7 located between two switches 21 and 22 located at distances C1 and C2 from finger 7 respectively.
- the support 1 pivots and finger 7 actuates one of the switches 21 or 22, depending on the direction of rotation of the motor housing.
- the idea of the invention is to modify the distances C1 and C2 depending on the selected torque for stopping the engine.
- two switches 21 and 22 not only allows mounting right or left of the engine in a doorway window, but it also allows in some cases to roller shutter, to ensure the shutter stops when it is completely unrolled and it arrives against a base stop having the effect of causing a sudden decrease in the torque exerted by the flap rolling on the engine through the tube winding.
- the torque required for stopping the engine will be relatively large, so the distance C1 or C2 will be adjusted accordingly, while the stop stop bass usually results in a small reduction of the torque, so that the distance C1 or C2 will be chosen shorter.
- FIG. 2 schematically illustrates a first method to modify C1 and C2.
- both switches 21 and 22 are fixed on a common support 8 carriage-like that can move transversely to finger 7 as indicated by the double arrow.

- the device shown is also mounted inside a winding tube 2, partially shown.
- a crown 10 At the end shown of the winding tube 2 is fixed internally a crown 10, a smooth part of which rests on a support cylindrical 11 serving as end bearing for the tube winding and forming part of a support 12 fixed to the cheek of a box not shown and containing the electrical connections of the control supply engine.

These bars 15 and 16 and these grooves are arranged parallel to the common axis of the tube winding 2 and casing 14 and symmetrically relative to this axis.
- the casing 14 is retained in rotation around the cage 13 by four sets of V-shaped springs 18 arranged between each of the bars 15 and 16 and the cage 13 each retained between two sets of springs. The calibration of these springs is done either by the choice of springs, either by the number of springs.
- the other end of the cage 13 is terminated by a front wall 20.
- On this wall 20 are fixed the two switches 21 and 22, arranged symmetrically relative to a plane containing the axis of the assembly and passing through the middle of a finger 23 extending towards the front of the edge of the wall 20, parallel to the axis common.
- the switches 21 and 22 are each provided respectively of a pusher 24 and 25 intended to be actuated by a lever of the first kind or rocker 26, respectively 27.
- connection tabs 28 and 29 for connection electrical switches of the motor, not shown, located in the extension of the stop device represented.
- the front wall 20 is provided, in its center, with an axis 30 combined with the geometric axis of the cage 13, extending between switches 21 and 22 and provided of a head.
- a plate 31 extending approximately on a semicircle and having a plane of axial symmetry.
- This plate 31 carries the levers 26 and 27 which are mounted pivoting on rods 32 and 33.
- helical springs 34 and 35 are mounted working in torsion and compression and now in particular the levers separated from the pushers 24 and 25 switches.
- Around the rod 30 is also mounted a spring 36 which holds the plate 31 against the front wall 20.
- the plate 31 has an axial plane of symmetry of each side of which the plate 31 has two notches 50 and 51, arranged symmetrically relative to the plane symmetry of the plate, for example 5 ° on each side of this plane, as well as two arms 53 and 54 also symmetrically arranged relative to the plane of symmetry and whose ends are located on the trajectory of bars 15 and 16, respectively.
- the finished device is delivered to installers in a neutral position in which the plate 31 is in abutment against the end of the finger 23 by its part 52 separating the notches 50 and 51.
- levers 26 and 27 are at the same distance from the switches. From this position, the installer can obtain a "left" device or "right” by slightly turning the plate 31 to left or right. If the plate 31 is turned to left, finger 23 engages in notch 50, as shown in Figure 4, the plate being pushed back by its spring 36. In this position, the stroke of the bar 15 necessary for actuating the lever 26 is enlarged relative to the neutral position, which means more torque must be applied to the winding tube so that the switch 21 is operated. This torque corresponds to the stop at the stop high.
- switch 22 which must function as high point shutdown switch, installer, before commissioning, rotate the plate 31 the other way around, so that finger 23 engages in notch 51.
- the positioning of the plate 31 can also be done automatically, the first time you use installation, by driving one of the arms 53 or 54 of the plate 31 by the bar 15, respectively 16, according to the direction of rotation of the motor corresponding to the winding.
- Figures 5 and 6 show other means for change the distance between an actuating arm and a pair of switches 21 and 22 from a symmetrical position.
- the arm 7 In neutral position, the arm 7 is equidistant from switches 21 and 22.
- the arm 7 has, at its end, a yoke 60 at the middle of which is mounted a cylindrical column 61 extending in the axis of the arm 7.
- the end lower (in the drawing) of the rod 61 has a base 62 of diameter larger than the diameter of the column and connected to the column by a conical part.
- the outer end of the column 61 is provided with a head 63.
- a plate 64 is mounted transversely on arm 7 in yoke 60. This plate 64 has a straight longitudinal slot 65 crossed by the column 61.
- the slot 65 leads to enlargements 66, respectively 67 whose diameter is slightly greater than the diameter from the base 62 of the column.
- the plate 64 extends symmetrically on each side of the arm 7 and rests on the upper end of the conical part of the base 62 of the column under the thrust of a spring 68 working in compression between the head 63 and the plate 64.
- switches 21 and 22 are mounted on one level different, lower in the drawing.
- the installer When installing the roller shutter, the installer first controls the winding of the roller shutter. When this roller shutter comes into high stop against its housing, the motor housing is driven in rotation. We will assume that this rotation is done clockwise in Figure 5. The plate 64 immediately abuts against the stop 69, which can be very close to the insert, like the stop 70. The plate 64 is thus pushed back to the left relative to arm 7. When the enlargement 66 of the plate arrives opposite the base 62 of column 61, the insert is pushed onto this base by the spring 68 and comes to occupy the level switches 21 and 22. When arm 7 returns in its neutral position, the distance C1 between the plate 64 and the switch 21 is therefore substantially greater than the distance between this plate and switch 22.
- switch 21 The torque required to actuation of switch 21 is therefore significantly larger than for actuation of switch 22.
- Switch 21 will therefore ensure stopping the engine in high stop, while switch 22 will stop the engine at stop low. This gives an asymmetrical positioning automatic during the first winding of the shutter rolling.
- the arm 7 could be driven indirectly by the motor, for example by multiplication or reduction. It is enough that the connection is cinematic.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a stop device automatic of a tubular electric motor a winding tube of a rolling shutter or the like coming into abutment in the high rolled up position, comprising a trip device that reacts to the torque exerted on the motor housing by the shaft winding to interrupt the feeding of the engine during an increase in torque due to a arrival of the roller shutter in the high position, the casing of the motor being rotatably mounted so as to be rotated against the action of a means elastic when the torque exerted on the casing of the motor by the winding shaft exceeds a certain threshold and being kinematically integral with an arm actuation for actuation of at least one light switch.
By engine is meant the whole engine.
Such a device is known from document EP 0 703 344. In this device, the motor is provided with two arms each leaning on a spring and actuating each a switch. When the roller shutter arrives in high stop, the motor is rotated against the action of one of the springs and activates one of the switches, which has the effect of interrupting motor power. The other switch is used to interrupt power to the engine at case, during its progress, the roller shutter encounters an obstacle having the effect of causing the motor in the other direction. Stopping the roller shutter in fully extended position is ensured by a special switch controlled by a mechanism measuring the movement of the roller shutter. At rest, the arms are in contact with the pushers of the switches, so the arm stroke is very low. Adjusting the spring precompression is very delicate, because these springs act one on each other, so that the torque setting required to actuation of switches, in particular the switch operating when the roller shutter arrives in high stop, is very delicate. These means are not incidentally not used alone, but in combination with the mechanism measuring the roller shutter seam. This mechanism, by a switch, neutralizes actuation of the switch operating at the winding, as long as the roller shutter has not reaches an area close to its full winding. The switch bypass by the controlled switch by the distance traveled measurement device allows therefore to ignore the torque exerted by the flap rolling on the motor at the winding only in the last phase of its winding.
Using a concept described in the patent application No 96 14202, the present invention has for purpose of making a stop device reacting to torque exerted on the motor by the roller shutter, of which adjustment is easier.
The drive device according to the invention is characterized in that the switch or the arm actuator is mounted in such a way that it can be moved in order to permanently change the distance, at rest, between the arm and the switch.
We no longer act on a spring to adjust the trigger point but just over the distance separating the switch from the actuating arm of this switch, which is much less delicate.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the device includes a second switch, arranged on the other side of the arm relative to the first switch and activated when the torque exerted on the motor drops below a determined value, which allows stop the engine when the shutter is completely unwound.
The two switches are preferably mounted symmetrically relative to the actuating arm, in the absence of torque exerted on the engine. The couple necessary to stop the roller shutter at the top stop being generally significantly greater than the torque necessary to stop the rolling shutter in abutment low, an asymmetry must be introduced. This asymmetry can be introduced by the displacement of switches, for example by moving in rotation or translation of a support carrying the two switches or by moving the arm actuation, respectively of the actuating arms.
The switches can for example be fixed on a angularly adjustable plate, means of lock being provided to fix the plate in the asymmetrical angular position chosen.
According to a particular embodiment of the invention, for right or left mounting, the stop device includes a fixed cylindrical cage in rotation housed two control rods in the winding tube integral in rotation with the housing, calibrated springs opposing the rotation of the housing relative to the cage, a pair of switches and a pair of arms symmetrically mounted lever actuation relative to the axis of the cage on integral axes a plate rotatably mounted around an axis confused with the axis of the cage and having a plane of symmetry passing through said axis and positionable angularly, so that the plane of symmetry can be tilted either to the right or to the left relative to the plane of symmetry of the cylindrical cage, plate locking means in the chosen angular position, said bars being symmetrical and the springs also and the plate is also axially movable against the action of a spring. One of the switches operates at unfolding, the asymmetry given to the position of the plateau, differentiating the torques necessary for actuation of the switches, the most torque large corresponding to the stop in high stop.
Such a drive device has the advantage of can be mounted on the left side of a doorway to the right of it, the engine then having to turn one way or the other, depending on the position of mounting, for winding the roller shutter. The support, especially the turntable, will moved one way or the other, so that the switch to work when the shutter rolling arrives in high stop, always the switch farthest from the actuating arm linked to the engine.
These engine stop means are applicable in all cases where the nominal torque applied by the roller shutter motorization remains reasonable.
The motor housing will preferably be retained in rotation by two identical opposing springs factory tared.

Figure 6 shows the device of Figure 5 after changing the distance between the arm actuation and switches.
The basic principle of the stop device according to
the invention is shown in Figure 1. The housing
a motor not shown is secured to a

A l'extrémité représentée
A cet
choix des ressorts, soit par le nombre des ressorts.FIG. 4 represents an example of execution of the

Patent No 96 14202 We find in this embodiment
all the elements of the application No. 96 14
202. concerning the detection of an overtorque on the
motor housing. The device shown is
also mounted inside a
The other end of the
la paroi frontale 20.The
certaine valeur, respectivement descend au-dessous
d'une certaine valeur. It can therefore be seen that the rotation of the
The
On relèvera
en l'absence de couple sur le carter 14.The finished device is delivered to installers in
a neutral position in which the
s'engage dans l'encoche 51.If, taking into account the place where the
motor, i.e. also the stop device,
it is
l'enroulement.The positioning of the
In the position shown in Figure 4 it is therefore

Figures 5 and 6 show other means for

In this position of the
22.In the neutral position shown in Figure 5, the
basse. On obtient ainsi un positionnement dissymétrique
automatique lors du premier enroulement du volet
roulant. When installing the roller shutter, the installer
first controls the winding of the roller shutter.
When this roller shutter comes into high stop against
its housing, the motor housing is driven in
rotation. We will assume that this rotation is done
clockwise in Figure 5.
The
The
