Claims (5)
- Zylinderkopf einer Mehrzylinder-Brennkraftmaschine, bestehend aus einem Gußstück mit einem von seitlichen Außenwänden (3,4), einem Boden (1) und einer Decke (2) begrenzten Kühlwasserraum (5), durch den sich die Einlaß- und Auslaßkanäle (7 bzw. 8) sowie mit dem Boden und der Decke verbundene senkrechte Pfeifen (11) zur Aufnahme der Zylinderkopfschrauben und senkrechte Schächte (9) zur Aufnahme von Zündkerzen oder Einspritzdüsen erstrecken, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Kühlwasserraum (5) am Umfang jedes einem Zylinder zugeordneten Brennraumes (6) zwischen benachbarten Schraubenpfeifen an diese angeformte senkrechte, in Quer- und Längsrichtung des Zylinderkopfes verlaufenden Wände (13 bzw. 14,15) vorgesehen sind, von denen sich zumindest die Querwände (13) bis zur Decke (2) erstrecken, und daß sich die Einlaß- und Auslaßkanäle (7 bzw. 8) durch die Längswände (14,15) erstrecken und ihre Wände an diese angeformt sind.
- Zylinderkopf nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich die Längswände (14,15) an ihren an die Schraubenpfeifen (11) angeformten Enden bis zur Decke (2) erstrecken.
- Zylinderkopf nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß von der Mitte der Oberkante der Längswände (14,15) Stege (16,17) ausgehen, die sich bis zur Decke (2) erstrecken.
- Zylinderkopf nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich bei einem Vierventil-Zylinderkopf die Stege (16,17) von Stellen, die zwischen den beiden Einlaß- und Auslaßkanälen (7,8) jedes Brennraumes (6) liegen, bis zur Decke (2) erstrecken.
- Zylinderkopf nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in den Stegen (16), die sich von einer Stelle zwischen den Einlaßkanälen (7) zur Decke (2) erstrecken, Bohrungen (20) zur Aufnahme von Glühkerzen vorgesehen sind.
