Dies kann in einfachster Weise dadurch erreicht werden, daß der maximale Öffnungswinkel der Heckklappe derart vergrößert wird, daß auch große Personen noch völlig ungehindert, d.h. aufrechtstehend bis unmittelbar an die Heckwand des Fahrzeuges herantreten können.
Eine derartige Vergrößerung des Öffnungswinkels einer Heckklappe bietet in konstruktiver Hinsicht keine besonderen Schwierigkeiten.

Die erfindungsgemäße Haltevorrichtung zeichnet sich zunächst durch einen verhältnismäßig geringen Herstellungs-und Montageaufwand aus und gewährleistet zugleich in Verbindung mit einer dieser zugeordneten Gewichtsentlastung eine sichere Feststellung der Heckklappe in wenigstens einer Teilöffnungslage, wobei an die Rastkraft der Haltevorrichtung verhältnismäßig geringe Anforderungen gestellt werden, da in diesem Falle keine größeren Kräfte auf die Heckklappe wirken, insbesondere dann, wenn die Gewichtsentlastung, sei es eine mechanische Feder, beispielsweise eine Drehstabfeder oder sei es eine Gasfeder direkt an der beweglichen Schwenkgelenkhälfte des Heckklappenschwenkgelenkes angreift. Die erfindungsgemäße Haltevorrichtung gewährleistet aber auch in Verbindung mit einer dem Antrieb der Heckklappe in Öffnungsrichtung zugeordneten Gasdrückfeder oder dergl. ein sicheres Feststellen der Heckklappe in wenigstens einer ausgewählten Öffnungslage, da die Rastierung ohne besonderen Aufwand hinreichend stark ausgebildet werden kann. Insbesondere bei solcherart in Öffnungsrichtung angetriebenen Heckklappen, die sich nach dem Öffnen des Schlosses selbsttätig in Öffnungsrichtung bewegen, hat die erfindungsgemäße Haltevorrichtung den Vorteil, daß ein Anschlagen der Heckklappe an einer Garagendecke oder dergl. ausgeschlossen ist. Die erfindungsgemäße Haltevorrichtung bringt schließlich auch noch den Vorteil mit sich, daß die Haltevorrichtung im Wesentlichen innerhalb des der Heckklappenanlenkung dienenden Schwenkgelenkes untergebracht und zugleich auch zusammen mit diesen als vorgefertigte Baueinheit am Fahrzeug montiert werden kann.

Im Einzelnen ist bei dieser ersten Verwirklichungsform der Erfindung vorgesehen, daß die Heckklappe vermittels einer, insbesondere als schwanenhalsförmig gekrümmter Scharnierarm ausgebildeten beweglichen Schwenkgelenkhälfte um eine dem hintersten Rand des Fahrzeugdaches gegenüber innenliegend angeordnete Schwenkachse am Fahrzeugdach angelenkt ist und die Haltevorrichtung aus wenigstens einer mit einem Abstand zu dessen Schwenkachse an den Scharnierarm angeschlossenen Rastmarke und mindestens einem mit dieser zusammenwirkenden, an der feststehenden Schwenkgelenkhälfte feststehend befestigten Rastglied besteht, wobei das der wenigstens einen an den Scharnierarm angeschlossenen Rastmarke zugeordnete Rastglied vermittels eines Trägers an der feststehenden, fahrzeugseitigen Schwenkgelenkhälfte befestigt ist.
Bei einem Schwenkgelenk mit einem in üblicher Bauart durch ein U-förmiges Blechpressteil gebildeten Scharnierarm, der zwei zueinander parallele und gegeneinander beabstandete, senkrecht zur Schwenkgelenkachse ausgerichtete Profilstege aufweist, ist das wenigstens eine Rastglied zweckmäßigerweise seitlich neben dem Scharnierarm angeordnet und ist in Verbindung damit die wenigstens eine dem Rastglied zugeordnete Rastmarke an einer Seitenfläche des Scharnierarmes ausgebildet bzw. angeordnet. Naturgemäß kann eine solche seitliche Rastmarkenanordnung auch bei einem aus einem geschlossenen Vielkantprofil, insbesondere Vierkantprofil, geformten Scharnierarm vorgesehen sein.
Eine vorteilhafte Ausbildung bzw. Anbringung der wenigstens einen Rastmarke an einem solcherart gestalteten Scharnierarm ergibt sich daraus, daß die am Scharnierarm angeordnete Rastmarke durch ein beide Profilstege des Scharnierarmes umfassendes, aus einem zu einer im Wesentlichen C-förmigen Gestalt gebogenen streifenförmigen Zuschnitt eines Blechmaterials oder eines Federstahlmaterials bestehdes und an wenigstens einem seiner beiden Profilschenkel mit einer eine Rastmarke umgrenzenden Ausbuchtung versehenes Formteil gebildet ist. Der Festlegung des Formteiles am Scharnierarm ist ein formschlüssiger Eingriff mit an diesem ausgebildeten Aussparungen oder Anschlägen zugeordnet, wobei bei der bevorzugten Ausführungsform des Formteiles vorgesehen ist, daß den beiden Profilschenkeln des im Wesentlichen eine C-förmigen Gestalt aufweisenden und den Scharnierarm wenigstens teilweise umgreifenden Formteiles Ausnehmungen in den Profilstegen des Scharnierarmes zugeordnet sind, derart, daß das Formteil vermittels formschlüssiger Festlegung unverschieblich am Scharnierarm gehalten ist.
Im Hinblick auf eine sichere Rastierung ist vorgesehen, daß die, eine Rastmarke umgrenzenden, Ausbuchtungen der Profilschenkel des Formteiles eine kreisförmige Grundrißform aufweisen und die mit jeweils einer Rastmarke zusammenwirkenden Rastglieder jeweils durch eine teilkugelförmige Verprägung des freien Endes der undrehbar an der feststehenden, fahrzeugseitigen Schwenkgelenkhälfte befestigten Träger gebildet ist.
Darüberhinaus ist noch vorgesehen, daß den an ihrem freien Ende ein Rastglied tragenden Trägern eine sie sowohl in der Richtung des Auflaufens als auch in der Richtung des Ablaufens der Rastmarken abstützende Anschlaganordnung an der feststehenden Schwenkgelenkhälfte zugeordnet ist, derart, daß zum einen die Befestigung der Träger von den aus dem Auflaufen der Rastmarken resultierenden Kräften weitgehend frei gehalten und zum anderen die Träger zugleich auch mit einem verhältnismäßig geringen Abstand zu den Rastgliedern stabil gegen die sie tragende Schwenkgelenkhälfte abgestützt sind.

In einer zweiten Verwirklichungsform der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, daß die bewegliche heckklappenseitige Schwenkgelenkhälfte durch einen gekrümmten Scharnierarm gebildet ist und die feststehende, fahrzeugseitige Schwenkgelenkhälfte wenigstens eine eine der beiden Schmalseiten des die bewegliche Schwenkgelenkhälfte bildenden Scharnierarmes übergreifende und mit einem Abstand zur Schwenklagerachse angeordnete Ausladung aufweist und das oder die federbelasteten, Rastelemente quer zur Bewegungsebene der beweglichen heckklappenseitigen Schwenkgelenkhälfte verstellbar in einem Führungsgehäuse angeordnet sind, wobei das oder die durch Kugeln gebildeten Rastelemente samt der ihm bzw. ihnen zugeordneten Belastungsfeder sowie samt eines oder je eines Druckstückes innerhalb eines mit Anschlußmitteln, insbesondere wenigstens einem Anschlußflansch zur Befestigung an einer der beiden Schwengelenkhälften ausgestatteten Führungsgehäuses angeordnet sind, derart, daß die Rast-oder Haltemittel in Form einer vorgefertigten Baueinheit an ein Schwenkgelenk angeschlossen werden können.
Selbstverständlich kann aber auch vorgesehen sein, daß die Rastelemente durch in entsprechend gestalteten Druckstücken gelagerte Rollen oder sonstige Rotationskörper gebildet sind.
Entsprechend der bevorzugten Gestaltung der Rastelemente als Kugeln ist vorgesehen, daß dem oder den samt Führungsgehäuse an der einen Schwenkgelenkhälfte angeordneten Rastelementen wenigstens eine kalottenförmige Rastmarke an der anderen Schwenkgelenkhälfte zugeordnet ist.
Vorteilhafterweise ist an der feststehenden Schwenkgelenkhälfte beiderseits der beweglichen Schwenkgelenkhälfte jeweils ein Führungsgehäuse samt darin aufgenimmenem federbelastetem Rastelement angeordnet und weist die bewegliche Schwenkgelenkhälfte beidseitig kalottenförmige Rastmarken auf.
Für einen einfachen montagefreundlichen Zusammenbau eines solcherart ausgestatteten Schwenkgelenkes ist zweckmäßigerweise vorgesehen, daß die Ausladungen der feststehenden Schwenkgelenkhälfte mit einer Ausnehmung für die Aufnahme eines Führungsgehäuses versehen und jedes Führungsgehäuse mit einem radial ausladenden Befestigungsflansch ausgestattet ist. Eine der Heckklappe 3 zugeordnete, mindestens über einen gewissen Öffnungswinkel hin wirksame Gewichtsentlastung ist in der gezeigten Ausführungsform durch eine Gasfeder 7 gebildet, wobei die Gasfeder 7 in einer im Einzelnen nicht näher dargestellten Weise in einem dachseitigen Hohlraum der Fahrzeugkarosserie aufgenommen und befestigt ist und über ihre Kolbenstange 8 an die durch einen gekrümmten Scharnierarm gebildete bewegliche Gelenkhälfte 5 angeschlossen ist. Dem Anschluß der Gasfeder 7 ist eine Auskragung 9 des Scharnierarmes 5 zugeordnet, an welchen die Kolbenstange 8 der Gasfeder 7 vermittels eines Gelenkes 10 angeschlossen ist. An der durch einen gekrümmten Scharnierarm gebildeten Schwenkgelenkhälfte 5 sind beidseitig Rastmarken 11 angeordnet, welchen vermittels Träger 12 an der feststehenden Schwenkgelenkhälfte 4 abgestützte Rastglieder 13 zugeordnet sind. In der dargestellten Ausführungsform sind die Rastmarken 11 an einem an den Scharnierarm 5 anschließbaren Formteil 14 ausgebildet. In Verbindung mit der im Ausführungsbeispiel gewählten Ausbildung des Scharnierarmes 5 als U-förmiges Blechpressteil besteht das Formteil 14 aus einem zu einer im Wesentlichen C-förmigen Gestalt gebogenen streifenförmigen Zuschnitt eines Blechmaterials oder eines Federstahlmaterials, welches mit jeweils einem seiner beiden Profilschenkeln 15 und 16 jeweils einen der beiden Profilstege 17 und 18 des als U-förmiges Blechpressteil ausgebildeten Scharnierarmes 5 umgreift und an seinen beiden Profilschenkeln 15 und 16 jeweils mit einer eine Rastmarke 11 umgrenzenden Ausbuchtung 19 versehen ist. Zur formschlüssigen Festlegung des Formteiles 14 am Scharnierarm 5 sind den beiden Profilschenkeln 15 und 16 des im Wesentlichen eine C-förmigen Gestalt aufweisenden und den Scharnierarm 5 wenigstens teilweise umgreifenden Formteiles 14 Ausnehmungen 20 und 21 in den Profilstegen 17 und 18 des Scharnieres 5 zugeordnet. Wie insbesondere aus der Darstellung der Figur 5 ersichtlich weisen die beiden Profilschenkel 15 und 16 des im Wesentlichen eine C-förmigen Gestalt aufweisenden Formteiles 14 zwei zueinander konvergierende und eine eine Rastmarke 11 umgrenzende Ausbuchtung 19 zwischen sich einschließende Längenabschnitte 22 und 23 auf, wobei lediglich das freie Ende 24 jedes Profilschenkels etwa senkrecht zum Profilgrund des Formteiles 14 zurückgebogen ist. Über die beiden zueinander konvergierenden Längenabschnitte 22 und 23 liegen die beiden Schenkel 15 und 16 des Formteiles 14 an entsprechend abgeschrägten Flächenbereichen der Ausnehmungen 20 und 21 in den Profilstegen 17 und 18 des Scharnierarmes 5 an, derart, daß sich eine symmetrische formschlüssige Abstützung jedes der beiden Profilschenkel 15 und 16 an jedem der Profilstege 17 und 18 des Scharnierarmes 5 ergibt. Der Profilgrund 25 des C-förmigen Formteiles 14 ist mit einer nach innen gerichteten Durchwölbung versehen, welche eine die Anlage des Formteiles 14 am Scharnierarm 5 unterstützende Klemmkraft bewirkt.
Die jeweils eine Rastmarke 11 umgrenzenden Ausbuchtungen 19 in den Profilschenkeln 15 und 16 des Formteiles 14 weisen jeweils eine kreisförmige Grundrißform auf. Zugleich sind die mit jeweils einer Rastmarke 11 zusammenwirkenden Rastglieder 13, wie insbesondere aus der Darstellung der Figur 5 ersichtlich, jeweils durch eine teilkugelförmige Verprägung des freien Endes der undrehbar an der feststehenden, fahrzeugseitigen Schwenkgelenkhälfte 4 befestigten Träger 12 gebildet. Die Träger 12 sind vermittels eines als Stufenniet ausgebildeten Scharnierlagerbolzens 6 zusammen mit dem Scharnierarm 5 an der feststehenden, fahrzeugseitigen Schwenkgelenkhälfte 4 befestigt, wobei die Träger 12 jeweils der Schwenkgelenkhälfte 4 gegenüber außenliegend angeordnet und einerseits vom Kopf 26 und anderseits von der Vernietung des als Stufenniet ausgebildeten Scharnierlagerbolzens 6 übergriffen sind. Darüberhinaus sind den beiden Trägern 12 mit einem verhältnismäßig geringen Abstand zu den Rastgliedern 13 Anschläge 27, 28 an der feststehenden fahrzeugseitigen Schwenkgelenkhälfte 4 zugeordnet, durch welche sie sowohl in der Richtung des Auflaufens als auch in der Richtung des Ablaufens der Rastmarken abgestützt sind, wobei diese Anschlaganordnung die Befestigung der Träger von den aus dem Auf- und Ablaufen der Rastmarken resultierenden Kräften weitgehend frei hält.

In der in der Figur 6 dargestellten Ausführungsform besteht das Schwenkgelenk für die Anlenkung einer in der Zeichnung nicht näher dargestellten Heckklappe aus einer ersten feststehend an der gleichfalls nicht näher dargestellten Fahrzeugkarosserie befestigten Schwenkgelenkhälfte 31 und einer zweiten an der Heckklappe befestigten Schwenkgelenkhälfte 32, wobei die zweite Schwenkgelenkhälfte durch einen etwa schwanenhalsförmig gekrümmten Scharnierarm 32 gebildet ist und wobei die beiden Schwenkgelenkhälften 31 und 32 vermittels eines Scharnierlagerbolzens 33 schwenkbar miteinander verbunden sind. Die feststehende fahrzeugseitige Schwenkgelenkhälfte 31 ist in der dargestellten Ausführungsform durch ein Gußteil gebildet, welches einerseits mit zwei aufragenden und Durchgangsbohrungen 33 für einen als Stufenniet ausgebildeten Schwenklagerbolzen 34 aufweisenden Stegen 35 und andererseits mit diesen gegenüberliegend angeordneten abwärts zeigenden Ausladungen 6 versehen ist.
Die beiden abwärts zeigenden Ausladungen 36 sind dabei in einem Abstand zu den Durchgangsbohrungen 33 und damit zur Schwenkgelenklagerachse angeordnet und jeweils mit einer Aufnahmebohrung 37 für ein ein Rastelement 38 aufnehmendes Führungsgehäuse 39 versehen, wobei die Aufnahmebohrungen 37 achsparallel zur Schwenkgelenklagerachse ausgerichtet sind. Das Rastelement 38 ist in der gezeigten Ausführungsform durch eine Kugel gebildet und zusammen mit einer sie belastenden, als Schraubenfeder ausgebildeten Druckfeder 40 sowie einem Druckstück axial verschieblich in dem zylindrisch ausgebildeten Führungsgehäuse 39 aufgenommen. Das Führungsgehäuse 39 ist mit einem umlaufenden Befestigungsflansch 41 zur Befestigung an der Ausladung 36 der feststehenden Schwenkgelenkhälfte 31 versehen. Zudem ist das zylindrische Führungsgehäuse 39 mit einem sich über einen Teil seiner Länge hin erstrekkenden Außengewinde versehen, welchem ein entsprechendes Innengewinde in den Aufnahmebohrungen 37 zugeordnet ist, derart, daß das Führungsgehäuse 39 an die feststehende Schwenkgelenkhälfte 31 anschraubbar ist. Der die bewegliche Schwenkgelenkhälfte 32 bildende Scharnierarm ist an seinem einen Ende mit parallelen Armen 42 versehen, in welchen Durchgangsausnehmungen 43 für den die Schwenklagerachse bildenden Schwenklagerbolzen 34 angeordnet sind. An seinen Schmalseiten weist der Scharnierarm 32 drei im gegenseitigen Abstand angeordnete, durch kalottenförmige Vertiefungen gebildete Rastmarken 44, 45 und 46 auf, wobei die beim Öffnen der Heckklappe in Schwenkrichtung vorne liegende Rastmarke in demjenigen Bereich der Krümmung des Scharnierarmes 32 angeordnet ist, welcher sich während der Öffnungsbewegung der Heckklappe den Ausladungen 36 der feststehenden fahrzeugseitigen Schwenkgelenkhälfte 31 bei einem Öffnungswinkel von mehr als 60° nähert bzw. mit diesen in Überdeckung gelangt. Bei der in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsform ist der Scharnierarm 32 auch noch mit einem Ausleger 48 für den Anschluß einer im Einzelnen nicht dargestellten Gasfeder versehen.

The two downward projections 36 are arranged at a distance from the through bores 33 and thus from the swivel joint bearing axis and are each provided with a receiving bore 37 for a guide housing 39 receiving a latching element 38, the receiving bores 37 being aligned axially parallel to the swivel joint bearing axis. In the embodiment shown, the locking element 38 is formed by a ball and, together with a compression spring 40 designed as a helical spring and a pressure piece, is axially displaceably received in the cylindrical guide housing 39. The guide housing 39 is provided with a circumferential fastening flange 41 for fastening to the projection 36 of the fixed swivel joint half 31. In addition, the cylindrical guide housing 39 is provided with an external thread extending over part of its length, to which a corresponding internal thread in the receiving bores 37 is assigned, such that the guide housing 39 can be screwed onto the fixed swivel joint half 31. The hinge arm forming the movable swivel joint half 32 is provided at one end with parallel arms 42, in which passage recesses 43 are arranged for the swivel bearing pin 34 forming the swivel bearing axis. On its narrow sides, the hinge arm 32 has three latching marks 44, 45 and 46, which are arranged at a distance from one another and are formed by dome-shaped depressions, the latching mark lying at the front when the tailgate is opened in the pivoting direction being arranged in the region of the curvature of the hinge arm 32 which is during the opening movement of the tailgate approaches the projections 36 of the fixed vehicle-side swivel joint half 31 at an opening angle of more than 60 ° or overlaps with them. In the embodiment shown in the drawing, the hinge arm 32 is also provided with a bracket 48 for connecting a gas spring, not shown in detail.

Claims (15)

  1. Tailgate hinge for motor vehicles with a tailgate opening or closing an aperture in the bodywork on the tail side covering essentially the entire region of the tail surface of a motor vehicle constructed as a combi vehicle and the tailgate being pivoted at the upper end about a pivot point directed at right angles to the direction of travel, to open upwards on the roof of a motor vehicle, the tailgate being pivoted by means of at least one tilting hinge consisting of a stationary and a movable hinge half, about an axis parallel to the opening edge of the aperture in the bodywork on the tail side, so that it is tiltable on the vehicle roof and is acted upon in the opening direction or is at least weight-compensated at least over a certain opening angle by a spring load which can be pre-tensioned, characterised in that structurally combined with at least one of the tilting hinges of the tailgate hinge is a holding device formed by locking means for holding the tailgate in at least one predetermined partially open position, the locking means of the holding device consisting of a spring-loaded locking member supported on the stationary tilting hinge half and at least one locking index mark associated therewith and located or constructed on at least one side face of the movable tilting hinge half.
  2. Tailgate hinge according to Claim 1, characterised in that the tailgate is pivoted on the vehicle roof by means of a movable tilting hinge half constructed as a curved hinge arm about a pivot point located on the inside opposite the rearmost edge of the vehicle roof and the holding device consists of at least one locking index mark constructed or located on the hinge arm at a distance from its pivot point and at least one locking member cooperating with the former and attached in a stationary manner to the stationary tilting hinge half adjacent the vehicle.
  3. Tailgate hinge according to Claim 1 and 2, characterised in that associated with the at least one locking index mark constructed or located on one side face of the hinge arm is a locking member attached by means of a support to the stationary tilting hinge half adjacent the vehicle, which locking member is located beside the hinge arm.
  4. Tailgate hinge according to Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the hinge arm has a U-shaped cross-sectional shape with profiled webs aligned at right angles to the tilting hinge axis and the locking index mark located on the hinge arm is formed by a shaped part enclosing both profiled webs of the hinge arm and consisting of a strip-like blank of sheet metal material or of a spring steel material bent to form an essentially C-shaped contour, in which case the shaped part is provided in at least one of its two profiled legs respectively surrounding one of the profiled webs of the hinge arm with a bulge defining a locking index mark.
  5. Tailgate hinge according to Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that associated with the two profiled legs of the shaped part essentially having a C-shaped contour and at least partly enclosing the hinge arm are recesses in the profiled webs of the hinge arm so that the shaped part is in fixed engagement with the hinge arm by means of form-locking fixing and in this position is held in abutment by means of a clamping force sustained by an inwardly directed curvature of its profile base.
  6. Tailgate hinge according to Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the two profiled legs of the shaped part having essentially a C-shaped contour comprise two longitudinal sections converging towards each other and enclosing between them a bulge defining a locking index mark and solely the free end of each profiled leg is bent back approximately at right angles to the profile base of the shaped part.
  7. Tailgate hinge according to Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the bulges of the profiled legs of the shaped part defining a locking index mark have a circular plan form and that the locking member cooperating with respectively one locking index mark is formed respectively by a partly spherical embossing of the free end of the support non-rotatably fastened to the tilting hinge half adjacent the vehicle.
  8. Tailgate hinge according to Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the supports non-rotatably fastened at one end to the tilting hinge half adjacent the vehicle and at the other end equipped with a locking member respectively consist of a blank of flat material, in particular a spring steel metal sheet.
  9. Tailgate hinge according to Claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the supports respectively comprising a locking member at their free end are fastened by means of a hinge bearing bolt constructed as a stepped rivet, together with the hinge arm, to the tilting hinge half adjacent the vehicle and that associated with the supports supporting a locking member at their free end is an abutment arrangement supporting them both in the direction of the forwards movement as well as in the direction of the return of the locking index marks, on the stationary tilting hinge half adjacent the vehicle.
  10. Tailgate hinge according to Claim 1, characterised in that the spring-loaded locking member (members) are arranged in a guide housing to be adjustable at right angles to the plane of movement of the movable tilting hinge half adjacent the tailgate.
  11. Tailgate hinge according to Claim 10, characterised in that the movable tilting hinge half adjacent the tailgate is formed by a curved hinge arm and the stationary tilting hinge half adjacent the vehicle comprises at least one projection engaging over one of the two narrow sides of the hinge arm forming the movable tilting hinge half and located at a distance from the tilting bearing axis.
  12. Tailgate hinge according to Claims 10 and 11, characterised in that the locking member or members together with the loading spring associated therewith as well as together with one or each pressure member are located within a guide housing equipped with connection means, in particular at least one connection flange for attachment to one of the two tilting hinge halves, in which case the locking member or members are formed by balls and mounted in spring-loaded pressure members and in which case associated with each locking member is at least one spherical locking index mark on the other tilting hinge half.
  13. Tailgate hinge according to Claims 10 to 12, characterised in that the stationary tilting hinge half adjacent the vehicle comprises two projections engaging over both narrow sides of the hinge arm forming the movable tilting hinge half and located at a distance from the swivel bearing axis and located on each of these two projections is respectively one guide housing together with the spring-loaded locking member located therein.
  14. Tailgate hinge according to Claims 10 to 13, characterised in that at least one of the projections of the stationary tilting hinge half adjacent the vehicle is provided with a recess for receiving a guiding housing, which recess is aligned parallel with the tilting hinge bearing axis and in particular is constructed as a threaded bore and each guide housing is equipped in particular with an external thread as well as with a radially projecting attachment flange.
  15. Tailgate hinge according to Claim 10, characterised in that the hinge arm forming the movable tilting hinge half comprises on its two narrow sides and at a distance from its fulcrum, spherical locking index marks located on the stationary tilting hinge half and that two locking members spring-loaded by means of a compression spring located therebetween are arranged opposite each other in a guide housing and together with the guide housing at a distance from their fulcrum on the stationary tilting hinge half are located on the movable tilting hinge half.
